American rapper's brazen behaviour breaks gala golden rule
Megan Thee Stallion has broken the Met Gala's strict number one rule, threatening to expose secrets from New York's most prestigious fashion event.
Guests are supposed to adhere to a no phones rule, but that didn't stop the rapper who shared a video on her social media that showed her interacting with several fellow celebrities inside the gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
According to Vogue, the rule is described: 'In short: It's a secret. For this reason, guests must abide by the no phone (and therefore, no social media) policy'.
While there are usually a few stars who sneakily break the rules, the 30-year-old really has gone the extra mile by breaking the golden rule and bragging about it to her more than 32 million Instagram followers.
'We not supposed to have our phones,' Stallion said in one clip, walking inside the venue with fellow rapper Doja Cat and actress Tracee Ellis Ross.
'Not at all – put your phone away,' Ross told her.
She also posed with Cynthia Erivo, telling her: 'I snuck my phone inside. Peace!'
And in another video posted to her Instagram account, Stallion toasted an oeuvre d'oeuvres with rapper Doechii at a table inside the venue.
Fans took to the comments section of the post with shocked reactions, fearing she could be banned from the gala in the future.
'Girl they not gon' invite you back but thank you for thiiissss,' one fan said.
Another said: 'Here before Anna make you delete this.'
'Very rare sighting of inside the MET,' a third added.
Another fan said: 'Typical Aquarius breaking all the rules.'
Others praised the star for her bravery.

This year's dress code was 'Superfine: Tailoring Black Style' with Stallion walking the Met stairs in a silver floor-length gown, complete with a white fur coat.
As for her red hair, she had it pulled back into an intricate ponytail, complete with jewels.
This year marks her third time at the event after she made her debut in 2021. Perhaps her brazen behaviour will make it her last?
