The Celtics have to make trades this offseason to avoid having the most expensive roster in the NBA next season.
Boston is focused on potentially trading Jrue Holiday, Kristaps Porzingis or Sam Hauser, but Charania added that teams are making big offers for Jaylen Brown and Derrick White.
"The primary focus, from my understanding, with the Celtics' offseason has been Jrue Holiday, Kristaps Porzingis, Sam Hauser," Charania said. "Their trade markets. However, now are teams making big offers and calling about Jaylen Brown and Derrick White? One hundred percent."
"The Celtics prefer not to trade them, from my understanding, but listen, if they get a big offer, they have to look at everything. And I think they're going to get, you know, offers on the three guys that they're focused on. They're going to get offers potentially on Derrick White and Jaylen Brown." He continued.

Jayson Tatum is expected to miss all of next season recovering from his right Achilles tendon tear.
The Celtics, who were sold for $6 billion, are a second apron team.
Boston won the championship last year against the Dallas Mavericks but lost to the New York Knicks in this year's conference semifinals in six games.
Tatum tore his right Achilles tendon in Game 4.
According to Kevin O'Connor of Yahoo Sports, the Celtics are open to trading anybody on the roster except Tatum.

Rare Feat at US Open as Star Golfer Notches Historic Albatross
Rare Feat at US Open as Star Golfer Notches Historic Albatross originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Heading into the 2025 U.S. Open at Oakmont Country Club, much of the conversation was centered on just how difficult the course will be. Advertisement Through the early portion of day one, J.J. Spaun's -4 is the best so far, but we have seen many players struggle to make par despite the conditions probably being the best of the tournament. While the course is loved for being so challenging, amazing shots can be made and Patrick Reed delivered one for the ages. On the fourth hole, which is a 622 year par five, Reed hit a beautiful shot from 286 yards out on his second attempt and it trickled all the way into the hole. It's one of the rarest shots in the sport and just the fourth double eagle in U.S. Open history. To make it more impressive, he shot it blind, only realizing he made it because of the crowds' reaction. With one swing of the club he moved from one over to two under, which could go a long way for the entire tournament. Advertisement Reed, a 34-year-old American golfer born in San Antonio, Texas, became a professional in 2011 after helping Augusta State University win back-to-back NCAA Division I titles, and has since amassed nine PGA Tour victories, including the 2018 Masters Tournament. He joined LIV Golf like many other notable players in 2022 and his best finish in a U.S. open is fourth, which he achieved in 2018. Wisconsin Recruits Pushing Hard for 4-Star RB Latimer
Wisconsin Recruits Pushing Hard for 4-Star RB Latimer originally appeared on Athlon Sports. The Wisconsin football team is in a great position to land composite 4-star running back Amari Latimer after a successful official visit at the beginning of the month, but that's not stopping the Badgers from putting on the full-court press. Advertisement Latimer is a highly sought-after running back prospect in the 2026 class. He holds offers from 47 Division I schools, including Wisconsin and some of the biggest programs in the country like Alabama, Georgia, Michigan, and many more. Wisconsin got him on campus for an official visit and took advantage of it. The Georgia native was scheduled to take an official visit to Michigan the following week, but canceled it and actually made a return trip to Madison, taking an unofficial visit. While on his visit, he spent some time with his potential offensive line, including current 2026 commits Maddox Cochrane and Benjamin Novak. Both posted pictures on social media, putting the pressure on the 4-star back. But it's not just the offensive line showing Latimer that he's wanted in Madison; arguably the biggest and most consistent recruiter in the 2026 class is 3-star receiver Tayshon Bardo. Bardo has been very vocal in his efforts to recruit fellow visitors to join him in the 2026 class for the Wisconsin football team. The Badgers and their recruits are making it extremely clear they want Latimer to be a part of their 2026 class. Right now, the class has 11 committed players, putting them as the 38th-ranked class in the country according to the 247Sports Team Rankings. Advertisement If the Badgers are able to add Latimer, he would likely be considered the crown jewel of the class. Latimer is expected to finish out the rest of his visits at Georgia Tech (June 13) and Georgia (June 20) before he announces his decision. Right now, things are looking positive for the Badgers. There are three Crystal Ball predictions for Latimer, all in favor of Wisconsin on 247Sports. We'll see if the Badgers can pull off a huge recruiting victory. A Nationwide Celebration of Youth Sports at DICK'S House of Sport
Originally published on DICK'S Sporting Goods Sideline Report June 11 marked a historic first for DICK'S Sporting Goods and The DICK'S Sporting Goods Foundation. Twenty DICK'S House of Sport locations nationwide came alive with energy, excitement and sport for the inaugural 'Sports Matter Day of Play'. As part of the festivities The DICK'S Foundation invited youth organizations from communities across the country to participate in a day dedicated to celebrating play, access and opportunity in sports at their local DICK'S House of Sport location. This first-of-its-kind event was designed to give young athletes the chance to explore and experience new sports. From soccer drills in Boston to softball swings in Miami, each House of Sport became a vibrant, hands-on arena where kids could discover the joy of play. Designed to be inclusive and engaging, the activities encouraged curiosity and confidence in a variety of sports. For many, it was their very first time holding a lacrosse stick, swinging a golf club or rock climbing with encouragement from local coaches and mentors. 'There is nothing better than seeing kids light up when they get to play a sport for the first time,' said Rick Jordan, VP of The DICK'S Sporting Goods Foundation. 'Thats what the day was all about, getting to create those moments and showing young athletes that they belong on the field, the court or wherever their passion leads them.' In addition to a fun day of play at House of Sport, participating organizations also received a Sports Matter grant from The DICK'S Sporting Goods Foundation, to help ensure that their vital work in the community can continue to thrive. The grants underscore The Foundation's ongoing mission to provide access and equity in youth sports, one athlete at a time. Since 2014, DICK'S Sporting Goods and The DICK'S Foundation has helped over 3 million kids and committed over $100 million to support young athletes with equipment, registration fees, league costs and playing fields through its Sports Matter Program.'To have our organization recognized and supported today means a lot to us,' said Jamaal Wornum, CEO and Founder of One Love Sports Academy in Boston. 'The kids had a blast trying new sports and events like these are a game-changer for our program that will keep more kids doing what they love.'
