Following the release of last month's teaser trailer, Channel 9 has revealed everything you need to know about the upcoming season. This includes information about the premiere date, the teams, the location, the hosts and judges, and two massive twists set to rock the competition.
So, get your hi-vis and hard hat sorted; here is everything you need to know about The Block 2025.

The Block 2025 is set to premiere Sunday, July 27, at 7pm on Channel 9 and 9Now. This marks the first time in eight years that the reality show won't premiere in August, meaning that the auctions will likely take place at the end of October rather than the beginning of November.
As always, it's expected that episodes will air on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday for 13 weeks.
The Block 2025 is set in the country town of Daylesford, Victoria, which is where last year's season was meant to take place before production was forced to relocate due to permit issues and complaints from locals.
Daylesford, located about 80 minutes from Melbourne, is known as one of Australia's top weekend getaway destinations and the capital of spas and mineral springs.
This season, the teams will have to build their homes from scratch for the first time in the show's history. The houses are exactly the same in layout and size, and have been once again designed by The Block's longtime architect, Julian Brenchley.
In another major twist, the teams will not be allowed to work on their homes throughout the night, and the building site will be locked each evening. This emphasises the importance of time management; otherwise, some rooms may not be completed on time.
There will also be a purpose-built Sponsor Village on-site, transforming the way sponsors interact with the reality show.
In a surprising change for the series, this year's season of The Block won't feature any contestants from New South Wales. The purple team has also been removed, leaving the five official team colours as orange, blue, green, red, and yellow.
Team Orange is geologist Han, 29, and social media and marketing analyst Can, 31, who are a couple from Western Australia. Team Blue comprises dance teacher Em, 33, and engineer Ben, 32, who are a married couple from Victoria.
Team Green is made up of barber Robby, 37, and hairdresser Mat, 41, who are best mates from South Australia. Team Red consists of a married couple, Britt and Taz, both 30-year-old police officers from Western Australia.
Rounding out the cast is Team Yellow, which includes plumber Sonny, 44, and dental practice manager Alicia, 42, a married couple from Queensland.
The Block 2025 will once again be hosted by Scott Cam and Shelley Craft, with Marty Fox, Shaynna Blaze and Darren Palmer returning as judges. Dan Reilly continues in his role as sole foreman following Keith Schleiger's exit last year.
'Since all the houses have identical layouts, it really comes down to the contestants' own creativity where they'll have to think outside the box to catch the judges' eye for a win,' Scott Cam said. 'They have to produce something spectacular from week one.'
Shelley Craft remarked that the unique twist of the houses being new builds will ultimately help the contestants, adding: 'Rather than a dirty, grubby, messy start where they had to demolish a room and rebuild it in a week, coming into a clean frame is a much better mindset to be in.'

The Block's executive producer and creator, Julian Cress, said in a statement that this year's teams have brought the show back to basics.
'What the audience can expect this year is what I would call a classic Block series,' he said. 'We have a really diverse cast of hard-working people who are very competitive, engaged with their design, and of course, we will have some highs and lows.'

Why Next Gen NYC's Emira D'Spain Is ‘Banned' From Mallorca
One of the cool things about Next Gen NYC is learning more about the reality kids we've seen grow up with their famous Housewives moms. But there's also something exciting about learning more about the new stars in the series' debut season. One of these breakout stars is Emira D'Spain. Even before Emira hopped onto reality TV, she was already a NYC 'It Girl.' She was Paper Magazine's beauty director and the first Black transgender model for Victoria's Secret. She was also popular as an influencer with over one million followers on TikTok. All her popularity didn't help her when Mallorca banned her though. No, but for real, Mallorca didn't actually ban Emira. She joked to some of Bravo's favorite nepo babies in an episode that she was 'banned' from the island. And as it turns out she was only half-joking. Emira posted a TikTok video in 2023 titled 'I Got Banned from a Country.' In the video, the influencer recalled the time she took a trip with friends when she was 18. She decided to get a rental car in Mallorca. On the last night of their vacay, she parked the car far from their villa thinking nothing of it. The next morning, she went to get the car and saw a tow truck about to drive off with it. 'Tow truck man is driving away, and I'm chasing after him on the streets of Mallorca,' Emira shared. 'I remember I was wearing these Gucci loafers and I could feel the blood pooling in the bottom of my shoe from how painful they were.' When she finally caught up with the driver, he asked for 1000 euros to give back the car. The driver also handed her a ticket which she tossed. When she got home to the U.S. Emira received a letter from the Mallorca court. The letter stated that because she failed to appear at her court date, the country no longer welcomed her and might fine or imprison her if she tried to enter. Emira was sharing the story in the video because she was back in Mallorca at the time and worried about getting in the country. Thankfully, she didn't have any problems. It looks like Emira has her own crazy stories. They may not be as scandalous as Charlie Zakkour and the crypto torture house or as weird as the rumors of Andy Cohen firing Gia Giudice, but it sure is fun getting to know her more. Next Gen NYC airs on Tuesdays at 9/8c on Bravo. It streams on Hayu in the UK and Ireland. TELL US – DO YOU WANT TO LEARN MORE ABOUT EMIRA AND HER JET-SETTING LIFE? Chip Gaines responds to criticism about ‘Back to the Frontier' casting
Chip and Joanna Gaines are responding to backlash over the latest show in their media empire. Chip Gaines took to social media on Sunday to defend their new Magnolia Network reality series, 'Back to the Frontier.' The show drew criticism from some Christian conservatives for featuring a gay couple, Jason Hanna and Joe Riggs. 'Talk, ask [questions], listen.. maybe even learn. Too much to ask of modern American Christian culture. Judge 1st, understand later/never,' Gaines wrote on his X account. 'It's a sad sunday when 'non believers' have never been confronted with hate or vitriol until they are introduced to a modern American Christian [broken heart emoji].' The post came in response to comments from Franklin Graham, the son of the legendary evangelical pastor Billy Graham. 'It is very disappointing,' Graham wrote on X of the casting. 'While we are to love people, we should love them enough to tell them the truth of God's Word. His Word is absolute truth. God loves us, and His design for marriage is between one man and one woman. Promoting something that God defines as sin is in itself sin.' Gaines and his wife have built off the success of their HGTV show 'Fixer Upper' to build several other businesses, such as a line of home goods. Their partnership with Warner Bros. Discovery, which is owned by CNN's parent company, resulted in the launch of the Magnolia Network in 2022. The new show features three families attempting to live like homesteading pioneers in the 1880s without modern day conveniences, including electricity. Hanna told Queerty he and Riggs, who are parents of 10-year-old twins, welcomed the 'amazing opportunity to normalize same-sex couples and same-sex families.' 'I'm super honored that when they were choosing three modern-day families, they did choose a same-sex couple as a modern-day family, because we are,' said Hanna, who also shared that when he first saw the flyer advertising the forthcoming series on social media it featured a gay couple. 'We are your neighbors and your coworkers.' 'Back to the Frontier' airs Thursdays at 8 p.m. ET on Magnolia Network and streams on HBO Max.
