Swift, 35, and Gomez, 32, had lots to celebrate in New York City on May 31, just one day after Swift announced publicly that she had received back the rights to her music. The two friends spent the evening dining at The Monkey Bar in Midtown.
Swift was spotted leaving the restaurant in a $6,000 sequin silk and wool matching set by Gucci. The neckline of the tank and the skirt's hemline included white and clear crystal sequins.
The 'Cruel Summer' singer paired the black ensemble with a matching black bamboo handlebag also designed by Gucci. The bamboo bag is iconic to the brand, making its first appearance in 1947, and has since been through many eras of its own. Women of influence such as Princess Diana, Elizabeth Taylor and Grace Kelly were also fans of the bag. The cost of this all-black tote is $4,700.

As for Swift's accessories, she wore a pair of Arpeggia One Line Earring by the designer De Beers, worth $36,000. The 18k white-gold drop earrings feature 60 diamonds that weigh 4.74 carats and are hand-set by a team of the designer's craftsmen.
The earrings were gifted to Swift after she wore them to the 2024 Golden Globes with her snake-green Gucci gown.
Swift wore a custom TNT diamond tennis bracelet designed by Wove Made and Michelle Wie West with a starting value of $5,680. Swift had also been photographed wearing the same bracelet the evening before she announced she had acquired her masters on May 29.
On her finger, she wore a Cloud Offset Pear Ring designed by Shahla Karimi Jewelry in SoHo N.Y.C. Hailey Bieber has also been spotted wearing the designer's rings.
Swift completed her evening outfit with a pair of Gucci silver platform sandals.

The evening out in Manhattan, came just after Swift announced that she regained ownership of her masters — which allows her to once again be in control of her music catalog following a public ownership feud involving record executive Scooter Braun.
'You belong with me. 💚💛💜❤️🩵🖤,' Swift wrote on her Instagram carousel, on May 30, including a nod to her 2008 hit of the same name from her album Fearless.
Gomez celebrated her BFF after she made the news public, writing in an Instagram Stories post, 'Yes you did that Tay. So proud!'

USWNT honors former captain Becky Sauerbrunn with bobbleheads, fireworks and a dominant win
ST. LOUIS, Mo.—Former U.S. women's national team defender Becky Sauerbrunn got a hometown hero's welcome on Tuesday at Energizer Park ahead of, during and after the U.S. defeated Jamaica 4-0 to close out a successful international window. Having retired from professional soccer last December after a 16-year career, the former captain returned not only as part of TNT's broadcast crew covering the USWNT's friendly, but also to receive a proper sendoff. Advertisement 'I'm not used to having a lot of spotlight on me for something like this, but it's really about celebrating the people who got you here,' Sauerbrunn told reporters Monday. For someone who's never been entirely comfortable in the spotlight, Tuesday night must've been overwhelming — in a good way. Sauerbrunn was born in St. Louis, Mo., and developed her game there as a budding talent until she left for the University of Virginia in 2003. Her hometown sent her off in style with a celebration that included fireworks, a very realistic bobblehead, a standing ovation and a birthday cake (she turns 40 years old on June 6) fit for a legend. 'You know you've made it when you've got a bobblehead,' U.S. head coach Emma Hayes told reporters in her pre-match press conference. A commanding presence at center back, Sauerbrunn earned 219 appearances with the U.S., anchoring the team's backline to two FIFA Women's World Cup titles and a 2012 Olympic gold medal. It's quite a legacy for someone who never sought the spotlight. And it's one the current USWNT squad deeply respects and hopes to carry forward. Olivia Munn Reveals She Had To Take a ‘Scary' Risk in Order To Try for a Baby Girl
Having another baby is always a big choice, but for Olivia Munn, it came with a medical risk as well. She just revealed that she wanted a baby girl so much that she had to take a 'scary' risk to get her — and her husband John Mulaney was fully supportive. In a cover interview with PEOPLE, the Your Friends & Neighbors star opened up about her decision to expand her family after going through a breast cancer diagnosis in April 2023 and having multiple surgeries. Because her aggressive breast cancer was influenced by hormones, she worried that pregnancy, or even egg retrieval, would increase her chance of a recurrence. Munn recalled thinking before welcoming daughter Méi, 8 months, via surrogate. 'There were all these unknowns, but I knew where I wanted to go: alive on the other side, healthy, energetic, with a baby on the way.' In between a double mastectomy and having her uterus, fallopian tubes, and ovaries removed, Munn had 'a window' to do an egg retrieval to try for a baby via surrogate. 'It was important to do it at that moment, but it was also scary because my type of cancer feeds on hormones, and there are a lot of hormone injections with IVF,' she told the outlet. Regardless, she decided to go for it. Munn went through a special IVF protocol for cancer patients, and doctors were able to retrieve seven eggs. Two were 'strong enough to be tested for abnormalities and the gender,' Munn explained. Still, she said she wanted a baby girl so badly that she was willing to go through it all again, despite the risk. 'I remember I was on a walk with John, and I said, 'I really don't think that I'll be okay unless we get two girl embryos. I know this puts me at risk, but I just need you to support me,'' Munn, who also shares 3-year-old son Malcolm with Mulaney, recalled. 'He said, 'Whatever you need.'' We love that Mulaney was super supportive of this move! Later that day, the doctors revealed that they had two healthy female embryos. 'That was a sign for me everything was going to be okay,' Munn said. Now, she is at peace. 'I'm so grateful to be on the other side. Everything feels easy in a way,' the Hit-Monkey star added. 'I feel so at peace. If I can stay happy and healthy, then I just want to sail into the rest of my life.' In Oct. 2024, Munn shared a heartfelt post reflected on her life now. 'This time last year I was recovering from my fourth surgery and now I'm hanging with my baby girl. 🥹💕,' Munn captioned a photo of her and her daughter.
