Here's why Pheladi will not return to 'The Mommy Club' for season 4
Pheladi's absence from the show's reunion episode had already sparked speculation, with her citing health reasons for her non-attendance.
Despite being part of the show's third season, Pheladi's experience seems to have left a lasting impression, leading her to rule out a potential return.
On the show, the audience saw Pheladi engage in verbal altercations with two cast members: one with Nokwethemba 'Noksie' Khumalo and the other with Kabelo 'Mrs J' Jantjies, which got heated when her children were brought up and she was called a hoe because she mentioned she previously dated a married man.
In a candid interview with Palesa Madisakwane, Pheladi shared her reservations about the dynamics behind reality TV. She said she was initially reluctant — having been approached before to do The Real Housewives of Johannesburg — to join the show but wanted to share her story.
'We get into these things thinking there's an open policy, there's transparency. It's not the case, people have their own agendas. Also us as the cast, we came in with our own agendas, production have their own agendas, whatever they want to achieve, the audience and the media have their own agendas,' she said.
'It's unfortunate. It's not a space where I have control. I like to be in a position where I can control.'

Coco speaks out on her fallout with Nozipho Ntshangase
Former The Mommy Club star Nozipho Ntshangase's stepdaughter, Coco, is trending after dropping explosive details about her strained relationship with her. Coco left tongues wagging after taking to Instagram to post a selfie with her new stepmother, Misokuhle. The 25 year old recently married her father, Zola Ntshangase in a stunning traditional and white wedding. On The Mommy Club , Nozipho opened up about how deeply hurt she was by Zola's decision to take a second wife. She shared that she didn't support the idea of a polygamous marriage and chose to walk away. Coco's post sparked harsh criticism from former Real Housewives of Durban (RHOD) star Ameigh Thompson, who appeared to suggest that you can't change a child you didn't birth. The remark didn't sit well with Coco, who has since released a statement addressing Thompson's comments. She further opened up about her complex relationship with her stepmother. Coco shared that she moved in with Nozipho in 2023, but their dynamic has since changed. 'Regarding my relationship with Mama (Nozipho), things have changed. The last time we spoke was when I told her I'll be attending the wedding, and after that, there was silence.' Coco stated their father didn't suddenly decide to marry again but they were misled, but now they know the truth. She hinted that certain details were hidden and implied that the whole story is not yet public knowledge. She believes that one day, her brothers will also speak out and share their side of the story. Coco said attending her father's wedding to Misokuhle was entirely their decision; no one forced them. She said they chose to attend the wedding because they genuinely wanted to support their father. 'We went because we love our father deeply and genuinely wanted to support hmi, during this time. It wasn't about choosing sides, it was about showing love to our parents, simply,' she said. DO YOU THINK COCO WAS WRONG FOR SHARING THE SELFIE? While many celebrities in SA choose the international route, Ntshangase, however, chose a local surgeon, Professor Chrysis Sofianos, a plastic and reconstructive surgeon based in Johannesburg. She continued: 'Now let's get to it. I'm not normally regular even if I have a high fibre diet, kunzima nje (it's tough), so I've always struggled even after my c-sections. 'WOWZA, after many days, everything finally worked (TMI). Day 1, when I got home, I thought, Mxm, I got this. I don't know what the fuss was about. A lot of people scared me, but Google did the most scarring,' Ntshangase shared. The 40-year-old went on to reveal how she thought that procedure for her was not as painful as a lot of people have described it to be. She shared that even though the post-op journey has been a little difficult, she is loving the results already. 'However, I look in the mirror and I'm like DAMN gal. Even I wasn't ready for this snatchness. Even though there's some swelling, I'm loving the results already,' she said. On Sunday, July 27, 'The Mommy Club' star excitedly announced that she will be going under the knife; however, she did not disclose what kind of cosmetic procedure she will be doing. She cited that she is doing the procedure as a part of her healing and self-love journey, and having four pregnancies in the past affected her confidence, self-image, and made her feel insecure. 'So I've had four pregnancies, which resulted in five kids that includes the twins. So I've gained weight, and it was this, it was that. 'And just not exercising as often as I would have wanted, just a whole lot of insecurities that I have, and I just decided to take the plunge and be brave and do what I've always wanted to do, which is to work on my body and work on myself,' she said. Ntshangase is now the latest celebrity to have had cosmetic procedures done in SA. She joins the likes of Nonkanyiso 'Laconco' Conco, Simphiwe Ngema, Shamiso Mosaka and Khanyi Mbau.
