
RON95 targeted subsidy rollout delayed

Kuala Lumpur: The government has pushed back the deadline for the rollout of the RON95 targeted subsidies, initially fixed for the second half of this year. Government spokesman Fahmi Fadzil said more time was needed to fine-tune the mechanism to prevent leakage.

'He wants to ensure that the majority of the public is not adversely impacted by current policies or those that have yet to be implemented. 'The mechanism is being fine-tuned, which is why there is a slight delay (in the rollout),' he said at a press conference. Fuel prices July 24-30: Unchanged across the board
KUALA LUMPUR: The retail prices of RON95 and RON97 petrol will remain unchanged at RM2.05 and RM3.21 per litre respectively from July 24 to 30. Police: E-commerce scams cost Malaysians RM63mil in six months
KUALA LUMPUR: E-commerce fraud continues to rise at an alarming rate, with over RM63 million in losses recorded in just the first six months of 2025. Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) director Datuk Rusdi Mohd Isa said a total of 5,252 cases were reported between January and June this year, involving multiple digital platforms including Facebook, WhatsApp, Instagram, Telegram, TikTok and He said the most common modus operandi involved fake sellers offering non-existent items, which were never delivered despite payment made by victims.
