Queen Elizabeth's supercharged Range Rover goes under the hammer
Delivered to Her Majesty on April 25 2006 by Land Rover's Special Vehicle Operations division under Contract 41478, this L322-generation Vogue SE was finished in Tonga Green with a Sand Oxford leather interior, extended Burr Walnut trim and clear glass.
It's believed to be the only supercharged L322 Range Rover ever commissioned for the royal household.
Under the bonnet is a Jaguar-derived 4.2 l supercharged V8 producing 294kW and 560Nm.
In addition to its royal provenance, the luxury SUV boasts a host of unique features including side steps, mud flaps, a load-space mat, rear grab handles for easier access and dog guards for the Queen's famous corgis.
There's also upgraded internal wiring for communication and security equipment, dual rear window switches and a silver bonnet ornament depicting a Labrador carrying a pheasant.

The Range Rover was decommissioned and released into public ownership in 2008, after just over two years of royal service. It has since covered just under 193,121km and is said to be in impressive condition.
According to the listing, the bodywork is solid with none of the typical corrosion found on older L322s, especially around the rear arches and tailgate. It will be sold freshly serviced, with a recent paint correction detail and brand-new, period-correct Pirelli Scorpion tyres.
The vehicle is accompanied by its original blue leather wallet, complete with handbooks and a comprehensive service history file, including maintenance invoices.
It will be offered at Iconic Auctioneers' Silverstone Festival sale on August 23, for an estimated price of between £50,000 (R1.2m) and £70,000 (R1.7m).

JLR South Africa prices returning Carbon-clad Range Rover Sport
Return of the Carbon edition after five years sees it replacing the SV Edition Two and to some extent, the SV Black Edition. The range-topping of the previous generation, JLR has revived the Carbon edition for the latest generation Range Rover Sport that, once again, becomes the range's top spec variant. Seemingly replacing the SV Black that premiered last month, the Carbon, as with the Black and other special editions, is the work of JLR's SV Bespoke division, hence the newcomer's official moniker being SV Carbon. Once again based on the normal SV, which replaced the supercharged SVR, the SV Carbon only gains bespoke cosmetic and interior changes, with the drivetrain and mechanicals being unchanged. As per its name, the Carbon's aesthetic additions comprise carbon twill weave detailing, an exposed carbon fibre bonnet as an option, the carbon exterior pack as standard, anodised black brake calipers and the active exhaust system with quad outlets. Also standard are 23-inch alloy wheels, though buyers can choose from a range of designs, including a lightweight 23-inch carbon option. Finally, the optional carbon ceramic brakes bring a choice of four colours for the brake calipers; black, yellow, blue or bronze. Inside, and as with the now discontinued SV Edition Two, the Carbon offers a choice of four what JLR calls themes. Amounting to the decorative inserts and material of the Windsor leather seats, the options comprise Ebony, Ebony and Rosewood, Ebony and Light Cloud, and a leather-free option called Ebony and Cinder Grey. Similar to its siblings, it also gets the Dynamic Launch Mode system that adds an additional 50 Nm for a few seconds.
