Tara Sutaria REVEALS Honest Take On Becoming A Mother Someday: 'Not Sure If Now's The Time...'

News1817 hours ago
Tara Sutaria opens up about the idea of motherhood, calling it a "tricky time to think about kids" due to the challenges facing the world today.
Actor and singer Tara Sutaria recently got candid about motherhood, marriage, and her evolving views on love and life on The Ranveer Show. In a heartfelt chat with host Ranveer Allahbadia, Tara reflected on whether she sees herself becoming a mother someday and how she envisions marriage—both emotionally and astrologically.
When asked if motherhood was on her radar, Tara admitted she hadn't given it serious thought. 'I can't say that I've thought about it that much," she said, contrasting her outlook with that of many friends who seem more certain about wanting children. However, those close to her often describe her as 'a very naturally nurturing" person—something she attributes to her own mother.
'I love taking care of people, emotionally being there for them and in every way being there for them. It's something I really enjoy. I don't know about being a mother, honestly, I'm not entirely sure… I just feel it's not to be pessimistic, but then this is also a part of who I am. It's a very interesting and also tricky time now to think about having children when so much is going wrong in the world, and that is a thought that I do think about all the time. Life will tell if that is meant for me and whoever I am with, but as of now, it's not something that I'm thinking about all the time," she explained.
Turning the conversation toward marriage, Ranveer remarked that Tara would be a 'd**n good wife"—to which she smiled and replied, 'Most certainly," before adding, 'I love love."
Her love for love, she believes, is central to her being. 'Anybody that knows me knows how much I love love," she said, and when asked about what her astrological chart says about marriage, Tara simply replied, 'Wonderful things."
Expanding on her romantic ideals, Tara shared, 'If I didn't love love as much as I do and did and always will, I mean anyone who loves it as much as I do will be a good partner because you prioritise that above all… Because when you see what life is about outside of that, it's all great, it's fine and dandy, it's wonderful, but when you have love in it, it makes everything better."
Tara was previously in a relationship with Aadar Jain from 2019 until their breakup in 2023. She is currently rumoured to be dating Veer Pahariya, though she has not confirmed the relationship.
Having made her Bollywood debut with Student of the Year 2 in 2019, Tara went on to star in films like Marjaavaan, Tadap, Heropanti 2, and Ek Villain Returns. Her last feature film appearance was in Apurva (2023). Recently, she has been focusing on music videos, featuring in tracks like Pyaar Aata Hai with Ishaan Khatter and Thodi Si Daaru alongside AP Dhillon.

Gargi Kundu opens up about facing harsh comments on her skin and identity

Actress and content creator Gargi Kundu has opened up about the harsh criticism she has faced over the years. She revealed that she was often mocked for her skin tone, appearance, and identity. Speaking candidly, she shared how these experiences shaped her journey and strengthened her resolve. Gargi, who is known for her role in the show 'Society' on Jio Hotstar, shared, 'I was mocked for my looks every day. People called me 'behenji', said my specs were too big, and even made fun of my skin colour. It hurt—but I never let it define me.' 'It felt like I was being judged for just being myself. I wear my glasses with pride. I love my skin. And I'm not here to meet someone else's standards,' she asserted. The actress shared life inside the society house wasn't any easier for Gargi. For the unversed, Gargi Kundu began her artistic career with classical training in Bharatanatyam and folk dance, and was actively involved in theatre and Bollywood-style performances from a young age. Her early exposure to the performing arts laid the groundwork for her later work across various creative platforms. During the COVID-19 pandemic, Gargi worked as a medical professional, offering help on the ground while also turning to storytelling to express the grief and uncertainty of the time. This period marked a turning point as she began creating short, relatable videos online—many of which went viral. Her growing popularity on social media led to roles in Bengali television and films, and eventually to appearances in pan-Indian OTT content including web series, music videos, and advertisements. She made her debut in the world of reality television with the show, 'Society.' The show featured 25 contestants competing in a tier-based format—Royals, Regulars, and Rags—facing daily challenges to win the title of 'Asli Baazigar.' Hosted by comedian Munawar Faruqui and co-hosted by Shreya Kalra, the show focused on social dynamics, survival, and strategy.
