Ethan Klein reacts to iDubbbz's new Content Cop episode on H3 podcast and YouTube drama

Express Tribune17-04-2025
YouTuber and H3 Podcast host Ethan Klein has publicly criticised iDubbbz's latest Content Cop video, which targets the H3 brand.
On the 16 April episode of the podcast, Klein expressed disbelief over the subject of the new video and the creators involved in its production. Calling the project 'pathetic' and 'mean-spirited,' Klein voiced concern that his colleague Lena Ayad was caught off guard, leading to a panic attack ahead of her participation in Creator Clash 3.
Klein appeared shocked by iDubbbz's collaboration with Twitch personalities such as HasanAbi, Denims and Frogan, especially given his previous support for iDubbbz and his projects. He said, 'I can't believe how f**king insane this is... People who watch this show know how much I've stood up for him.' Klein also pointed out that he had defended iDubbbz during past online controversies and helped promote his boxing events.
Further into the broadcast, Klein accused iDubbbz of aligning with creators he believes are hostile toward him. He said, 'How is it that he is going to ally with someone like Denims and Frogan? And Noah Samsen?' The tension stems from broader ongoing conflicts within the online content community, particularly involving reactions to geopolitical commentary.
Klein has previously released a 'Content Nuke' aimed at HasanAbi, which the streamer did not publicly address. In the latest developments, Hasan encouraged his followers on X to view iDubbbz's new video and reacted to it on Twitch. Meanwhile, Klein has taken legal steps alongside SomeOrdinaryGamers against Noah Samsen for earlier content criticising YouTubers.

Battlefield 6 tops Twitch rankings and Steam charts during Open Beta launch weekend

Battlefield 6 has made a striking debut during its Open Beta, becoming the most-watched game on Twitch and securing one of the highest concurrent player counts on Steam just minutes after launch. As Battlefield 6 entered its early access phase on August 7, limited to those with Twitch drop codes, it immediately climbed to over 600,000 viewers on Twitch—a figure far surpassing its closest competitor, League of Legends, which recorded just over 100,000 viewers at the same time. The excitement was mirrored on PC as well. Steam Charts showed the Open Beta rising rapidly to the fourth most-played game on the platform, with more than 190,000 players logged in simultaneously. These figures do not include players accessing via EA Play or console, indicating the total audience could be substantially higher. Despite its brief window of availability, the Open Beta's popularity has been unmistakable. Massive queues have formed on PC, with some players facing wait times long enough to prompt reminders, such as ensuring Secure Boot is enabled before entering the line. Running from August 7 to 10, Battlefield 6 Open Beta has already demonstrated a robust reception. The streaming and playing figures reflect elevated interest in the game, supporting the anticipation built by earlier trailers and gameplay reveals. With early access underway and broader availability scheduled later, the game's strong start on Twitch and Steam suggests that Battlefield 6 is positioned for a successful full release.

Sam Frank and N3on confirm breakup after two years together in emotional livestreams

Kick streamer Samantha 'Sam' Frank has confirmed her breakup with Twitch streamer Ragnesh 'N3on' in an emotional livestream on August 6, 2025. The announcement came shortly after N3on appeared in an IRL stream with Australian rapper Iggy Azalea. A clip from Sam's Just Chatting stream was shared on X, where she broke down in tears and told her community, 'All right, chat, I have to tell you guys, unfortunately, me and Mikyle have broken up, and we just decided that it is time for each other to grow apart.' Sam Frank breaks down in tears as she announces her breakup with Neon after 2 years, just days after his stream with Iggy Azalea 👀 — FearBuck (@FearedBuck) August 7, 2025 She continued, 'It doesn't even feel real… that if we do want to be together in the future, that this is a decision we had to make to not be together right now.' Frank also thanked her supporters, saying, 'We love each other so much… thank you, guys, for all of your love and support.' On the same day, N3on addressed the split on his Twitch stream. The 20-year-old commented on how the relationship impacted his life, stating, 'All I ever wanted in life, bro, was to get big on the internet, to make money, and to be with a, you know, girl that I love. And, that's what I had, bro.' Neon announces that he and Sam Frank have broken up after 2 years and sends his best wishes to her — FearBuck (@FearedBuck) August 7, 2025 He continued, 'She really changed my life… she taught me so many things.' N3on also discouraged any hate toward Frank, adding, 'First off, I want to say, anyone sending hate to Sam or whatever, like, first off, that s*t is weird as fk. I still love her so much.'

Ludwig discusses multistreaming shift and charity challenges on State Farm's Gamerhood

Ludwig has reflected on his most intense charity stunts and addressed his move to multistreaming during the fourth season of State Farm's Gamerhood competition. The streaming series features well-known online personalities competing in video game and physical challenges to raise funds for charity. Returning for his third season, Ludwig joins figures like Mark Phillips and Berleezy in this year's competition, aiming to raise part of the $100,000 prize pool for causes they support. In an on-set interview, Ludwig spoke about the lengths he's gone to for charity, including his widely viewed 2022 Subathon 2.0, where he spent 50 hours in a glass box. That stream raised over $300,000 for Alveus Sanctuary and No Kid Hungry. However, he highlighted another challenge as one of the most exhausting: playing through the entire Rock Band catalogue to support wildfire relief. 'It took like 12 hours,' Ludwig said, adding that the event raised $250,000 and involved punishments like eating unpleasant food. Ludwig also discussed his recent transition to multistreaming on both YouTube and Twitch. While previously hesitant, he noted that YouTube's superior VOD system influenced his decision. 'When you stream on YouTube, it's like a catalog forever,' he said, pointing to its usefulness for viewers. Episodes of Gamerhood air every Friday in August at 6 PM ET across YouTube, Twitch, and participants' own platforms. Ludwig confirmed plans for more fundraising events, including a potential return of the Streamer Games and Fast 50, as he continues to organise high-profile community competitions for charitable causes.
