Wyden, 76, affirmed on the Senate floor: "Somewhere in the Treasury Department, Mr. President, locked away in a cabinet drawer, is a big Epstein file that's full of actionable information."
He urged: "Follow the money [and] details about his financing and operations that await investigation."
The Dem senator even claimed the Biden administration let his aides
Wyden said: "The file shows that Mr Epstein used multiple Russian banks, which are now under sanctions, to process payments related to

trafficking.

"A lot of the women and girls he targeted came from Russia, Belarus, Turkey and elsewhere."
He added: "One shudders to think about the kinds of people who must have been involved in trafficking these women and young girls out of those countries and into the Epstein web of abuse.
"These are all potential leads."
Beyond the mysterious account - kept with JP Morgan Chase - Wyden said how "hundreds of millions more flowed through other accounts," meaning authorities have "even more to investigate".

Epstein was found hanged in his cell on the 10th, but speculation has been rife that others were involved - and the release of the footage has sparked another flareup of controversy.
It was released last week after a leaked memo showed that a probe concluded Epstein's death a suicide, and the "client list" of people implicated in Epstein's crimes allegedly does not exist - contrary to popular conspiracy theories.

Wyden added on Thursday: "I wrote to the Attorney General, Ms. [Pam] Bondi, Treasury [Secretary Scott] Bessent,

Director [Kash] Patel, and I asked them all to produce the Epstein file to the Senate Finance Committee so it could be reviewed."
He explained he had "made that request multiple times".
The Dem Senator later said: "We are going to stay on this fight to hold the wealthy individuals accountable for the harm that they clearly were involved in, in injuring the young women and others in this sex trafficking.
"[There was] real evil - real evil done to women and girls by Jeffrey Epstein.
"Nobody gets to sweep that under the rug."
Since his death, people have speculated that Epstein blackmailed prominent figures involved with his sick crimes.
The FBI's conclusion that it does not exist directly rails against what administration officials have previously said.

In an interview on Fox News in February, Pam Bondi herself said the client list was "
She addressed the comment during a cabinet meeting last Tuesday, explaining that she had meant the Epstein file in its entirety.
And it was hoped that the confirmation Epstein's death was suicide would put to bed theories that he had been murdered to prevent him from divulging names.
However, even the release of the CCTV footage has failed to snuff out the conspiracies - leading to some within Trump's own ranks to call for the further release of the full files.
Many within his MAGA movement allege that the files about the paedophile's crimes have been withheld to protect big names.
US House Speaker Mike Johnson
Speaking on a podcast with Benny Johnson, the Republican said: "It's a very delicate subject, but we should put everything out there and let the people decide it.
"I'm for transparency," he added.
Other conservative figures have since demanded to see all the documents related to Epstein's crimes, even as Trump has tried to put the issue to bed.

Lauren Boebert, another conservative Republican said a special counsel should be appointed to investigate the financier's crimes if more Epstein files were not released.
And Senator John Kennedy of Louisiana said the voters expect more accountability.

On Tuesday, Trump said the DoJ should release all "credible" information from its probe into the notorious sex criminal.
But he repeated his claim that the so-called Epstein files were "made up" by his Democratic predecessors in the White House - despite saying multiple times during the election campaign that he would "probably" release them.
He told reporters in the White House: "I don't understand why the Jeffrey Epstein case would be of interest to anybody.
"It's pretty boring stuff."
Trump's frustration boiled over on Wednesday when he unleashed a scathing rant on Truth Social, taking aim at those he holds responsible for the ongoing attention, and those who have "fallen" for them.
The President hit out at "radical left democrats", who he claims peddled the theories about Epstein's death and the so-called client list.
And he fumed that his past MAGA supporters had "bought into this 'bullshit,' hook, line, and sinker".
The MAGA camp remains left divided over a lack of clarity regarding the release of the hyped files.

In 1996, Maria Farmer told police she was groped by Epstein and his former girlfriend, Ghislaine Maxwell. Ms Farmer, who worked for Epstein as an art adviser, was one of the first people to accuse the paedophile financier of sexual misconduct. When reporting the incident she raised concerns about the high-profile individuals surrounding Epstein, including Mr Trump and Bill Clinton, she told the New York Times. Ms Farmer told the newspaper she had been troubled by a 1995 incident with the then Apprentice star, in which she met Mr Trump for the first time after being summoned to Epstein's Manhattan offices late one evening. She claimed the impromptu meeting took place just before she began working for Epstein. Ms Farmer said she arrived in running shorts and that Mr Trump hovered over her and stared at her legs, making her feel scared. She said Epstein then entered the room and said, 'No, no. She's not here for you', before the pair left together. Ms Farmer claimed she then heard Mr Trump say he thought she was 16 years old. Ms Farmer said she did not experience any other incidents with Mr Trump and did not see him engage in inappropriate behaviour with women or girls. In 2006, Ms Farmer claimed she again told the FBI to examine Mr Trump's links to the late financier. At the time, she was interviewed as part of the investigation into claims Epstein had sex with a minor. Epstein was eventually charged with one count of soliciting prostitution and one count of soliciting prostitution from someone under the age of 18. He pleaded guilty and served 13 months in a low-security prison. The White House branded the story about Mr Trump, which Ms Farmer first made public in 2019, as 'recycled'. 'This is recycled, old fake news of the highest order that was already peddled for more than six years, concocted by Democrats and the liberal media just like they did with the Russiagate scandal, which was just proven today,' director of communications Steven Cheung told the Telegraph. Russia targets Ukraine capital in massive assault as talks on US arms deal begin
The attack killed two people and wounded 15, including a 12 year old, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky said. A drone struck the entrance to a subway station in Kyiv's Shevchenkivskyi district where people had taken cover. Videos posted on social media showed the station platform engulfed by smoke, with dozens of people inside. Kyiv mayor Vitali Klitschko said the station had to be ventilated in what he called an 'enhanced mode'. The heaviest strikes hit the city's Darnytskyi district, where a preschool, supermarket and warehouse facilities caught fire. French foreign minister Jean-Noel Barrot, who arrived in Kyiv yesterday for talks with Mr Zelensky, visited some of the damaged area. Mr Zelensky and Mr Barrot spoke about expanding defence co-operation, including a decision by French companies to start manufacturing drones in Ukraine, and advancing Ukraine's path towards EU membership, the Ukrainian leader said on social media. The US Justice Department has released more than 240,000 pages of documents related to the assassination of Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr., including records from the FBI, which had surveilled the civil rights leader as part of an effort to discredit the Nobel Peace Prize winner and his civil rights movement. Files were posted on the website of the National Archives, which said more would be released. Dr King died of an assassin's bullet in Memphis, Tennessee, on 4 April, 1968, as he increasingly extended his attention from a nonviolent campaign for equal rights for African Americans to economic issues and calls for peace. His death shook the United States in a year that would also bring race riots, anti-Vietnam war demonstrations and the assassination of presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy. Earlier this year, President Donald Trump's administration released thousands of pages of digital documents related to the assassinations of Robert Kennedy and former President John who was killed in 1963. Mr Trump promised on the campaign trail to provide more transparency about President Kennedy's death. Upon taking office, he also ordered aides to present a plan for the release of records relating to the assassinations of Robert Kennedy and Dr King. The FBI kept files on Mr King in the 1950s and 1960s - even wiretapping his phones - because of what the bureau falsely said at the time were his suspected ties to communism during the Cold War between the US and Soviet Union. In recent years, the FBI has acknowledged that as an example of "abuse and overreach" in its history. The civil rights leader's family asked those who engage with the files to "do so with empathy, restraint, and respect for our family's continuing grief," and condemned "any attempts to misuse these documents." "Now more than ever, we must honor his sacrifice by committing ourselves to the realization of his dream – a society rooted in compassion, unity, and equality," they said in a statement. "During our father's lifetime, he was relentlessly targeted by an invasive, predatory, and deeply disturbing disinformation and surveillance campaign orchestrated by J. Edgar Hoover through the Federal Bureau of Investigation," the family, including his two living children, Martin III, 67, and Bernice, 62, said, referring to the then-FBI director. James Earl Ray, a segregationist and drifter, confessed to killing Mr King but later recanted. He died in prison in 1998. Dr King's family said it had filed a wrongful death civil lawsuit in Tennessee in 1999 that led to a jury unanimously concluding "that our father was the victim of a conspiracy involving Loyd Jowers and unnamed co-conspirators, including government agencies as a part of a wider scheme. "The verdict also affirmed that someone other than James Earl Ray was the shooter, and that Mr. Ray was set up to take the blame. Our family views that verdict as an affirmation of our long-held beliefs." Mr Jowers, once a Memphis police officer, told ABC's Prime Time Live in 1993 that he participated in a plot to kill Dr King. A 2023 Justice Department report called his claims dubious.
