Glastonbury Festival fans say one stage will be 'packed' due to 'insane' line-up

Daily Mirror17-05-2025
Glastonbury Festival attendees have been raving about one of the stages at the iconic event, with some warning it will be 'packed' due to an 'insane' line-up advertised
This year's Glastonbury Festival line-up suggests some stages will be totally crammed – as people are raving about the "insane" line-up at Worthy Farm.
A post on the r/GlastonburyFestival Reddit page sent fans into a frenzy of anticipation for the promised acts. Artists like Cheetah, Oppidan, and Baby J are set to hit the stage, yet Reddit users speculated that the Temple stage will scarcely contain the masses for one highly anticipated act. A Reddit user expressed their excitement, writing: "Bullet Tooth B2B Silva Bumpa will be unbelievable, very busy but unbelievable."

Another fan added: "Need to commit early and stay in there otherwise there's no chance... got stiffed last year for DJ EZ, got nowhere near getting in."

And a third was thrilled by the line-up, writing: "Line-up is too good. will be impossible to get into as per."
Forecasting a huge turnout, some also predict the 'Barry Can't Swim Presents...' set to be swarmed by attendees.
An individual posited: "Barry will be mental packed. Really not sure if is clever to put him on Temple. I remember the chaos of Fred again here back in 23. Personally not a good arena choice for crowd."
Another agreed, writing: "He was rammed on Park Stage last year, Temple will be nuts."

However, a Redditor offered a counterpoint, suggesting the crowd might just manage, drawing parallels to Fred Again's performance the previous year.
They commented: "It won't be anywhere near as bad as Fred or Virji B2B EZ last year. It's a takeover with people from his label as well so it will last a while (6 hours?!?) so more time for people to go in and out. If it was just a 1hr Barry set on his own then yeah it would be rammed and dangerous."
Others believe it will be packed regardless of who playing the stage – as Barry Can't Swim is such a huge name.

One person remarked: "It will be because it has the name 'Barry Can't Swim', and people read 'Barry Can't Swim'."
While another highlighted: "Well, the labelling is there: Barry Can't Swim (presents). You and I are avid careful readers, but normal people do not even know what a label showcase is."
Who is headlining Glastonbury 2025?
Later this year, 210,000 music lovers will head to Worthy Farm in Somerset for five days, taking in all of the music as well as everything the festival site has to offer.
This year, bosses have confirmed that Glastonbury will run from June 25 to June 29. This year, tickets for Glastonbury sold out in just 35 minutes, despite nobody knowing who was performing.
This year, The 1975, Neil Young and Olivia Rodrigo will headline. Meanwhile, Sir Rod Stewart will play the legends slot, and was the first name to be announced as part of the huge line-up.

Anna Delvey embroiled in fresh controversy after shocking act of animal cruelty

Con-artist Anna Delvey has been caught in a yet another scandal, following a rabbit-themed photoshoot. The Russian native, 34, whose real name is Anna Sorokin, is famously known for falsely posing as a German heiress to gain social status and defrauding a series of banks, hotels, and individuals out of $275,000. Delvey has now been caught in yet another scandal after two bunnies that appeared to be the same ones used in her shoot, were found abandoned in a park in Brooklyn, New York. However, Delvey says she was unaware of how the bunnies were precured for the shoot, with a 19-year-old assistant taking full responsibility. According to a Reddit user, they rescued a rabbit named Parker from the park on August 4, and placed in foster care. Three days later, on Thursday, the Reddit user was notified of another rabbit that had been found in Prospect Park, writing they also saved that bunny and arranged for someone to foster it. Posts on local Facebook pages in the area alerted neighbors to the rabbits, guessing they were pets due to their domesticated nature. Eagle-eyed Reddit users noticed both of the rabbits look identical to the ones featured in images and pinned Instagram Stories posted by Delvey during the recent shoot, which show her posing on the streets of New York with two bunnies on leads. Immediately, sleuths took to social media to share their findings, slamming Delvey for animal cruelty. 'SHAME ON YOU! Dumping these poor rabbits after ridiculous photoshoot! you should just go back to jail!' one user wrote under the Instagram photos of the shoot. 'Have some accountability. How can you be okay with these posts knowing the danger you put those rabbits in? What's wrong with you???' someone else commented. Someone else chimed in: 'Why use animals to begin with, they are NOT props.' In one screenshot shared online, Delvey claimed the bunnies were at home with their owners. 'The bunnies that were borrowed for our shoot are safe at home with their owners,' she left in a comment on her Instagram. The assistant on the independent shoot, Christian Batty, initially denied the bunnies that were found in the park were the ones used on the shoot, but he later released a statement claiming responsibility. Batty confessed to dumping the rabbits in Prospect Park, assuring people that Delvey wasn't aware of the situation and he sourced the animals for the shoot. The assistant on the shoot reportedly sourced the rabbits on Facebook marketplace (pictured is an exchange between Christian Batty and someone on Instagram who said he also asked to use her bunny) Eagle-eyed Reddit users noticed both of the rabbits appear identical to the ones featured in images and pinned Instagram Stories posted by Delvey during her the recent shoot, which show her posing on the streets of New York with two bunnies on leads In a statement posted to social media, which Delvey re-shared, he added they are being fostered by someone in New York for the time being. 'It was an unfortunate situation, but the bunnies are okay now,' he wrote in the statement. 'Anna was in the photoshoot with the bunnies, but not involved in anything beyond that photoshoot and did not realize the situation until today.' 'I lied to Anna, and the rest of Anna's team about the rabbits,' he confessed. 'When I realized the rabbits were being surrendered to me, I panicked. I had no experience caring for animals, no pet-friendly housing, and no knowledge of available resources,' he shared. Batty continued, writing he was 'overwhelmed and made the worst possible choice', thinking that there were 'existing rabbits in that area.' The assistant on the independent shoot, Christian Batty, initially denied the bunnies that were found in the park were the ones used on the shoot, but he later released a statement claiming responsibility 'I released them there, thinking that was my best option. The belief was wrong and I regret it deeply,' he wrote. 'I am relieved to hear that the rabbits are now safe, but I deeply regret the harm I caused. I also want to be clear that Anna had no knowledge of my actions until this afternoon, and I ask that any mention of them be removed from the situation.' 'My actions were wrong, and I will do everything I can to make sure nothing like this happens again,' he concluded the statement. In a statement supplied to the Daily Mail, Delvey said: 'As many of you are aware, I recently did a shoot with Jasper Soloff involving live rabbits. Christian Batty, a member of the hair team I briefly met with during a fashion week event last year, responded that he knew someone who could lend us bunnies for a few hours. 'I later discovered that, instead of borrowing animals from a legitimate source, he had obtained them via Facebook marketplace and intended to release them to Prospect Park, a plan of which I had no knowledge. The idea that someone would compromise the well-being of innocent animals for personal networking opportunities is deeply disturbing to me. 'I am highly disturbed by what transpired. As talent, it's not my job to source or return animals, but as am animal lover, I can promise I will never work with them again without knowing exactly where they came from and how they're getting home. 'I do not eat meat, and I have no involvement in the acquisition, transport, or return of these animals. I would never condone these actions.'

Disney fans react over 'obnoxious' park behavior

Published: | Updated: A fierce debate about filming at Disney World has erupted online after one streamer was called out for their 'rude' and 'obnoxious' behavior, even prompting cast members to weigh in. A Disney guest recently took to the popular WaltDisneyWorld section of Reddit , where they shared a picture of someone holding up an array of cameras and filming equipment while walking around the park. The unidentified man had a camera mount in both of his hands, and each one was attached to an iPhone as well as a portable charger and a slew of other wires. He held the devices above his head, surely making it a challenge to see what was happening for those standing behind him. 'Anyone else think this is just obsessive and obscene?' the Reddit user asked about the contraption. It sparked a heated argument about the topic, as hoards of people rushed to the comment section to share their thoughts. Many people agreed with the poster, and one person, claiming to be a Disney Cast Member, even chimed in about their experience with people filming content at the parks. 'Being a [cast member] sucks when it comes to this,' the user admitted. 'Yes, some influencers will ask permission to film us, especially involving pin videos. However, many exploit us for content. 'People generally don't realize that performing isn't just limited to entertainment. Every [cast member] is always putting on a show. 'Disney is always watching. Hearing these influencers stretch the truth, or leave out pertinent details as a "hack" grinds my gears.' Others shared their own experiences with people filming or holding multiple devices at the parks. '[Something like this] was in front of us during EPCOT's fireworks show last time we went. And she kept waving it in our faces. It was rude,' one person shared. 'Absolutely. I can't stand people who regularly live stream in the parks, [to be honest],' another wrote. 'I've had multiple instances where someone wasn't paying attention to anyone around them because they were streaming and either walked into us/in front of us, or were just being loud in an area that didn't warrant it, etc. It's incredibly obnoxious, especially when they have rigs or multiple camera setups like this.' Someone else said: 'We saw this today. Blocking off their space with all their cameras and tech and then getting mad when people move around them or get in their shot. 'I don't even mean close to show time. I mean hours and hours before the parade.' 'And incredibly annoying. Had a guy like that in front of me at fireworks one night- had to move as his lights were bright enough it actually interfered with the firework show,' read a fourth comment. A different user admitted: 'Disney influencers like this take the magic out of visiting the parks. Disney World is a place to escape the world and enter one of whimsy and fantasy.' They added: 'Disney really needs to start limiting the kind of filming equipment people can bring into the parks. 'I've seen people with tripods setting up shots as if they were filming a movie and acting like they can direct people to stay out of their shots, like they are filming an episode of Modern Family or Full House. A few people wondered why the man's mounts were allowed, given that Disney has a rule about selfie sticks. 'How is this allowed, but selfie sticks are not? If anything, I blame Disney for the inconsistency,' one person wondered. 'They don't allow selfie sticks, but this rig is OK?' someone else questioned.
