BRED Abu Dhabi 2025: the festival is coming back and we have all the deets
Yup, the festival that puts streetwear, street food and banging beats front and centre is making its way to Yas Island for its third edition – and it's going to be bigger and bolder than ever.
Rap legend Nas, Grammy-nominated Canadian singer-songwriter PARTYNEXTDOOR and Egyptian group Cairokee will take to the stage at Yas Marina between Wednesday April 23 and Sunday April 27 and it's going to pop off.
Nas brings his signature East Coast sound and an extensive back catalogue including N.Y State of Mind, Made You Look and The World is Yours on Friday April 25.
Lebanese indie band Adonis take to the stage on Thursday April 24 and more headliners are set to be announced in the lead up to the festival. Both Wednesday and Sunday are currently without a headline act so expect some more big names on the way.
This time around, BRED Abu Dhabi is also serving up a delicious slice of neo-culture with a side of Arab identity, all sprinkled with plenty of creativity.
Oh, and did we mention they've dropped an exclusive track? Yes, Hena, featuring regional music powerhouses The Synaptik, Asayel and Karim Osama, is on streaming platforms now.
In case you're out of the loop with the artists, it's got The Synaptik's heartfelt rap-meets-singing vibe, Asayel's sharp and empowering lyricism and Karim Osama's high-energy rap-meets-pop swagger. Produced by UAE's own Sleiman Damien, it's basically going to be your new earworm.
So what's new this year?
BRED is going back to where it all began: the streets. This year's festival shines a spotlight on Arab subcultures from the Levant, North Africa and the GCC, with a heavy dose of street-inspired style, sounds and snacks.
It's all about celebrating creativity and collaboration and championing emerging talent across music, fashion and art.
The first edition showcased streetwear, gaming, basketball and music galore. Then came round two, which brought us world-class artists like AJ Tracey, Offset and Metro Boomin. Now, edition three is gearing up to take things to a whole new level with a packed lineup of local, regional and global acts, plus unexpected collaborations and fresh surprises.
You'll also find a serious nod to Abu Dhabi's contemporary culture scene, with experiences that bring together street food, art, and sports in ways that feel super unique to the UAE.

LPS weds cinematic craft with short-form vertical videos for FEM Vatika campaign
Dabur International's FEM Arabia, in collaboration with LPS Brands, has revealed details of its FEM Vatika campaign to build awareness and engagement around the new packaging launch of the Dabur FEM Hair Removal Cream (HRC). With a specific focus on connecting with younger Arab women across the GCC region, the FEM Vatika campaign leaned into a digital-first rollout, led by a vertical-format music video, influencer-driven content and targeted social media activations. Select below the line (BTL) activities were also executed at key retail outlets to drive in-store visibility. Visually, the campaign leaned into showcasing the refreshed look of the FEM HRC packaging, marrying cinematic craft with short-form vertical formats. The campaign was entirely conceptualised, executed and produced in-house by LPS, bringing together a fully staffed film crew including director, DOP, ADs, vertical Trinity operator, art and production team. At the heart of this campaign was a full-scale production shot in Dubai with leading influencer Eya Fattouh, captured on Alexa 35 using a vertical Trinity rig – a setup that enabled immersive movement and brought cinematic precision to short-form, mobile-first storytelling. This rig allowed for dynamic, movement-rich shots tailored to the vertical frame, creating a visual language that was intended to feel both premium and platform-appropriate. The platform selection, led by Instagram Reels and TikTok, was intentional, maximising impact where the audience is most active. In conversation with Campaign Middle East, Hamza Sheikh, Head of Production, LPS Brands, said, 'Vertical isn't a compromise, it's a creative choice. With FEM Vatika, we approached the format not as a limitation, but as a space to innovate. Every frame was built for mobile, but treated with the same intent and discipline as cinema.' While vertical ads are now common, very few campaigns globally have brought this level of cinematic precision to the format. By fronting the campaign with a well-known Arab influencer, the brand ensured it maintained cultural and emotional relevance. A new Fem era begins✨ Because why should beauty come with pain? Superman films' star actor Terence Stamp dies aged 87
Terence Stamp, who rose as an actor in 1960s London and went on to play the arch-villain General Zod in the Hollywood hits "Superman" and "Superman II," has died aged 87, his family said on Sunday. The Oscar-nominated actor starred in films ranging from Pier Paolo Pasolini's Theorem in 1968 and A Season in Hell in 1971 to The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert in 1994. "He leaves behind an extraordinary body of work, both as an actor and as a writer that will continue to touch and inspire people for years to come," the family said. "We ask for privacy at this sad time." The family told Reuters that he had died on Sunday morning. Born in London's East End in 1938, the son of a tugboat stoker, he endured the bombing of the city during World War II before leaving school to work initially in advertising, eventually winning a scholarship to go to drama school. Famous for his good looks and dress sense, he formed one of Britain's most glamorous couples with Julie Christie, with whom he starred in Far From the Madding Crowd in 1967. He also dated the model Jean Shrimpton and was chosen as a muse by photographer David Bailey. After failing to land the role of James Bond to succeed Sean Connery, he appeared in Italian films and worked with Federico Fellini in the late 1960s. He dropped out of the limelight and studied yoga in India before landing his most high-profile role as General Zod, the megalomaniacal leader of the Kryptonians, in Superman in 1978 and its sequel in 1980. He went on to appear in a string of other films, including Valkyrie with Tom Cruise in 2008, The Adjustment Bureau with Matt Damon in 2011 and movies directed by Tim Burton.
