Pedro Pascal's Fantastic Four Earns $6.3 Million On Second Tuesday
With the latest earnings, Fantastic Four: First Steps has now brought its US total to nearly $208 million.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps, starring Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Joseph Quinn and Ralph Ineson, hit theatres on July 25. The latest Marvel movie opened to a great response at the box office, but its box office performance slowed down in the subsequent days. The film managed to earn over $200 million in the US by its second Monday on August 4.
According to Box Office Mojo by IMDb Pro, the new Fantastic Four film saw a significant rise in its numbers on its second Tuesday, i.e., on August 5, as compared to the second Monday. It raked in over $6.3 million, taking the total to nearly $208 million in the US. Still, it was a 55 per cent drop from its first Tuesday's earnings.
The Fantastic Four: First Steps Has The 6th Biggest Second Tuesday Of 2025
Despite the drop, Fantastic Four recorded the sixth biggest second Tuesday of 2025. It is trailing behind Superman ($10.1 million), Lilo & Stitch ($8.5 million), A Minecraft Movie ($7.5 million), Sinners ($6.9 million), and Jurassic World Rebirth ($6.9 million). Currently, its worldwide earnings stand at a whopping $378 million.
Based on the current trend, industry experts expect that the Fantastic Four, directed by Matt Shakman, could finish its theatrical run with a collection of around $280 to $295 million in the US, $400 million all over the world. The lifetime box office collection of the new Marvel film will likely be under $500 million worldwide.
What's The Story of The Fantastic Four: First Steps
First Steps is the third reboot of the Fantastic Four franchise, which brings in fresh faces to play Marvel's first family. Pedro Pascal features as Reed Richards/Mister Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Sue Storm/Invisible Woman, Joseph as Johnny Storm/Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Ben Grimm/The Thing.
Set in the 1960s, four astronauts from Earth-828, Reed Richards, Sue Storm, Ben Grimm, and Johnny Storm, venture into outer space on a mission. During their stay, they gain superhuman abilities from cosmic rays. Upon their return, they form a team called the Fantastic Four. Together, they jump in to stop the planet-devouring cosmic being Galactus and his herald, the Silver Surfer.
First Steps is the first film in the MCU's Phase Six. Besides the four lead actors, it also features Ralph Ineson as Galactus, Julia Garner as Shalla-Bal/Silver Surfer, Paul Walter Hauser as Harvey Elder/Mole Man, Sarah Niles as Lynne Nichols, and Natasha Lyonne as Rachel Rozman. Meanwhile, Matthew Wood voices the Fantastic Four's robot companion H.E.R.B.I.E.
