Fox Sports has the Bucs in a unique spot in their 2025 playoff prediction
The NFL offseason is all about team building and coaches getting ready to see what front offices give them to work with.
It also allows for projecting out how the season may go for teams around the NFL, and that includes the Bucs. Like any team, they have remained busy, and now that free agency and the NFL Draft have come and gone, we know what this roster is going to look like in September and beyond.
Henry McKenna of Fox Sports projected out the NFL Playoffs, and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were in a rather unique spot. In fact, they were missing from them altogether.
According to the projections, the only team making it to the playoffs out of the NFC South is the division winner, which they have as the Carolina Panthers. If the Panthers do make that big of a jump, one would have to the constant turnover at offensive coordinator finally caught up to the Bucs or that a major injury occurred on offense.
Also worth noting, would Todd Bowles be on the hot seat if the team were to miss the playoffs altogether? Lots to consider if this is how the season plays out for the team.

It's about time someone created a new Club World Cup, right?" The tournament's opening match between Lionel Messi's Inter Miami and Egyptian powerhouse Al Ahly FC will take place on Saturday at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
