Toronto rapper Top5 stabbed in London while supporting Drake, weeks after attempted hotel stunt targeting Kendrick Lamar
Top5 survives frightening neck attack
According to Toronto-based outlet @keep6ixsolid and DJ Akademiks, the attack happened while Top5 was casually talking to fans in London. Out of nowhere, a masked man allegedly ran up and slashed his neck. Thankfully, he survived. Reports suggest he was rushed to a hospital and is now recovering, though he hasn't said anything publicly yet.
The exact details—like when or why this happened—are still unclear. But the fact that it happened during what was supposed to be a celebratory trip to support Drake at Wireless has left fans rattled. Some have even pointed out that Top5 had recently called out certain UK rappers, calling them 'soft,' which may or may not have contributed to tensions while he was abroad.
Sources close to him say he is currently in stable condition and surrounded by close friends while recovering. While he hasn't posted online since the incident, people close to the situation have confirmed he's expected to pull through.
A video circulating on social media claims to show the alleged incident, with several men seen surrounding a car, vandalizing it, and appearing to assault someone inside. However, it's unclear whether the footage is directly linked to the stabbing, as the visuals have not been officially verified.

Top5's viral Kendrick Lamar hotel stunt and online loyalty to Drake
Top5 has been riding hard for Drake ever since the Kendrick Lamar beef exploded into one of the most talked-about rap rivalries in recent memory. Just a few weeks ago, he allegedly tried to enter the Toronto hotel Kendrick was rumoured to be staying at during his "Grand National" shows. Security reportedly stopped him at the door. He didn't get in, but he made sure to post about the attempt online, fuelling even more drama.
More footage has surfaced of Kendrick Lamar's 25-car police escort from the Toronto Police Service to quickly get him out of the city. 🚔It's also been revealed Top5 tried to get into the Nobu Hotel where Kendrick was before his show, but it was locked down for safety reasons. https://t.co/0vbC67l4AZ pic.twitter.com/AJGgz2gaP1
TOP5's move now has people talking. Some saw it as loyalty, others thought it was just clout-chasing. With the London stabbing happening soon after, many are now wondering if he is putting himself at risk by getting too involved in rap drama.

CID arrests construction firm head in Bokaro forest land scam
Ranchi: The criminal investigation department (CID) arrested the director of Ranchi-based Rajbir Construction company, Punit Agrawal, late on Monday in connection with the over 100-acre forest land scam in Tetuliya mauza of Bokaro district. The CID team nabbed Agrawal from his house located in a residential apartment under the Lalpur police station limits here and produced him before the court on the same day. The court sent him to jail under judicial custody. Agrawal is accused of setting up a fake company, transferring funds into it from the Rajbir construction and utilising it for the illegal purchase of land in Bokaro. Notably, the land, which was acquired for Bokaro Steel Plant (BSL), was returned by the BSL management to the forest dept after it was unutilised. As the land remained unclaimed for some period, the land sharks got it illegally registered in their names. The CID, which is carrying out the probe under the supervision of IG Sudarshan Mandal has made three arrests in the case, so far. Two persons — Izhar Hussain and Azhar Hussain — were nabbed in this connection from Bokaro last Saturday. "The CID will be taking all three persons under police remand for gathering more information related to the case. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Pernas e tornozelos inchados? The CID would also ascertain whether the 'Gair Mazurwa' forest land was also transferred or not as the figures cited by BSL and the forest department about the plot differ. This is not the only case related to big land scams which the CID is investigating currently. It is also examining scams four times and three times larger than the current one in terms of money in other parts of the state, sources said, adding that the matter would come to light once the accused are arrested.

UP man poses as gangster Lawrence Bishnoi to extort Rs 1 crore from Bengaluru businessman, arrested with 3 others
Four people, including three rowdy-sheeters from Uttar Pradesh, have been arrested in Bengaluru over an extortion call in which a caller falsely claimed to be notorious gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, the police said on Tuesday. The arrested accused are Mohammad Rafiq from Mavalli in Bengaluru, and UP natives Shishupal Singh alias Monty, Vansh Sachdev, and Amit Chaudhary, Commissioner of Police Seemant Kumar Singh said. Police investigations confirmed that none of the three had any connection to Lawrence Bishnoi, who is infamous for issuing death threats to actor Salman Khan and allegedly orchestrating the murders of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala and Maharashtra politician Baba Siddique. On July 9, a Bengaluru-based businessman allegedly received a phone call where the impersonator demanded Rs 1 crore and threatened to kidnap his son if the ransom wasn't paid. He immediately contacted the police and filed a complaint. Special teams were formed and upon getting the technical details, the team initially arrested Rafiq. Through detailed call record analysis and technical investigations, officers tracked down the other three suspects to Delhi. They were brought to Bengaluru on transit warrants. The police revealed that Rafiq had a previous business relationship with the complainant involving unresolved financial matters from several years ago. However, the immediate motive was Rafiq's debt of approximately Rs 2 crore, which prompted his desperate search for money, they added. The conspiracy was hatched when Rafiq travelled to Delhi for court proceedings related to a previous case. There, he encountered Amit through advocates. After sharing his predicament, Amit offered a solution, claiming knowledge of individuals experienced in kidnapping and extortion operations, according to the police. The group of four met regularly and during one evening while drinking at Amit's lodge, they conceived the plan to impersonate Lawrence Bishnoi, according to the police. This decision was influenced by social media videos and reels about the gangster that they had watched online. Rafiq allegedly provided logistical support for his UP-based accomplices who made the extortion call. Investigations have uncovered that the suspects brought a countrymade pistol from Uttar Pradesh and the police are yet to recover it.
