Tom Selleck, 80, Looks Unrecognizable During Rare Outing
You might need your own Magnum, P.I. to recognize this Hollywood star.
After all, the show's star Tom Selleck was nearly unrecognizable while running errands around Los Angeles July 14. Instead of sporting his iconic mustache, the 80-year-old grew out his hair and was rocking a full, gray beard to match his longer, salt and pepper hair.
Selleck kept it comfortable for his outing, donning black shorts, a black T-shirt and black sneakers as he hit the gym before grabbing lunch at McDonald's.
The Friends star has kept a low profile since the cancellation of his hit show Blue Bloods last year, which he said disappointed him. "My frustration is the show was always taken for granted,' he told TV Insider in October, 'because it performed from the get-go.'
For now, Selleck appears to be keeping his focus on himself and has embraced the way he looks at all ages in life. In fact, he's even shut down rumors that he tries to change his appearance, insisting his coloring is all natural.

'I'm sick of people telling me I dye my hair!' he told GQ in 2014. 'This is it, man. I've got gray hair in there. At my age, turning gray is kind of a blessing, where it softens all of the other horrible things it does to you.'
Indeed, Selleck isn't interested in looking like he did when he was younger.
'I can't look the way I looked 20 years ago,' he confessed, 'and I don't want some surgeon trying to make me look like that.'
And despite being known for his good looks throughout his life, Selleck can definitely appreciate that he has changed since his days as a television fixture in the 1980s.
'If I ever do an autobiography, I've got this potential title: Self-Pity at the Minibar,' he joked. 'When you're on the road a lot, as all actors are, it's very easy to conjure up the self-pity to invade that thing. But I looked OK when I was doing Magnum, P.I.'
But Selleck isn't the only star who has been candid about aging in Hollywood. Keep reading to see what more celebs have said.

'Fantastic Four' stretches lead to 2nd week at N.America box office
"The Fantastic Four: First Steps," Disney's debut of the rebooted Marvel Comics franchise, continued to outperform the competition for a second straight weekend at the North American box office, industry estimates showed Sunday. Actor-of-the-moment Pedro Pascal, Vanessa Kirby, Emmy-winner Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Joseph Quinn star as the titular team of superheroes, who must save a retro-futuristic world from the evil Galactus. The film pulled in an estimated $40 million in the Friday-through-Sunday period, a 66 percent drop from the prior weekend, for a two-week global total of $368 million. Universal's family-friendly animation sequel "The Bad Guys 2," about a squad of goofy animal criminals actually doing good in their rebranded lives, debuted in second spot, earning $22.2 million. "This is a good opening for an animation follow-up sequel," said David A. Gross of Franchise Entertainment Research. The film edged out Paramount's reboot of "Naked Gun," a slapstick comedy starring Liam Neeson as Frank Drebin Jr, son of the bumbling police lieutenant from the original 1980s movie and related television series "Police Squad!" It pulled in $17 million in its opening weekend. "Superman," the latest big-budget action film featuring the iconic superhero from Warner Bros. and DC Studios, slipped from second to fourth at $13.9 million, Exhibitor Relations said. That puts the global take of the film, starring David Corenswet as the Man of Steel, at $551 million. "Jurassic World: Rebirth" -- the latest installment in the blockbuster dinosaur saga -- finished in fifth place with $8.7 million. Its worldwide total stands at $765 million after five weeks in theaters. Independent horror film "Together," which premiered at this year's Sundance Film Festival and was picked up by Neon, claimed sixth spot in its debut weekend with $6.8 million. "This is a very good opening for an indie horror pic," Gross said. Rounding out the top 10 were: "F1: The Movie" ($4.1 million) "I Know What You Did Last Summer" ($2.7 million) "Smurfs" ($1.8 million) "How to Train Your Dragon ($1.4 million) bur-mlm/des

Box Office: ‘Jurassic World Rebirth' Surpasses $750 Million, ‘F1' Becomes Brad Pitt's Highest-Grossing Movie Ever
'Jurassic World Rebirth' keeps roaring at the box office with ticket sales clearing the $750 million milestone over the weekend. Universal's dinosaur tentpole, which rebooted the pre-historic series with Scarlett Johansson, Jonathan Bailey and Mahershala Ali at the helm, has grossed $766 million globally after five weekends of release. It's one of three Hollywood films this year — Disney's 'Lilo & Stitch' ($1 billion) and Warner Bros. 'A Minecraft Movie' ($955 million) are the other two — to clear the $750 million mark so far. International audiences have been particularly enthusiastic, with overseas revenues contributing a massive $448 million to the total bounty. United Kingdom and Ireland ($42 million), Mexico ($34 million) and Germany ($28 million) rank as the top-earning territories. Those are mighty returns, however the latest 'Jurassic' has to keep climbing to near the heights of the prior sequel trilogy led by Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard, each of which grossed $1 billion globally. More from Variety 'Jurassic World Rebirth' Roars to the Top as U.K.-Ireland July Box Office Climbs 3% 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps' Lands No. 1 Spot at U.K., Ireland Box Office as 'Saiyaara' Climbs the Chart Korea Box Office: 'Omniscient Reader' Debuts at No. 1, 'Fantastic Four' Bows in Third 'F1' is also staying strong at the box office, surpassing $545 million globally in its sixth lap around the track. With those ticket sales, the racing drama now stands as Brad Pitt's highest-grossing film in history, overtaking the haul of 2013's 'World War Z' ($540 million, not adjusted for inflation). 'F1' had long ago overtaken Martin Scorsese's 'Killers of the Flower Moon' ($158 million worldwide) and Ridley Scott's 'Napoleon' ($221 million) as Apple's largest theatrical film ever. 'Superman' also crossed a notable milestone with $550 million globally, a haul that includes $235 million overseas and $316 million domestically after four weekends. The Warner Bros. and DC comic book adventure has been underperforming at the international box office, at least compared to North America, which has accounted for nearly 60% of returns. (It's usually the inverse for all-audience tentpoles.) So far, the biggest markets have been the U.K. with $32 million, Mexico with $21.8 million and Brazil with $15 million. Meanwhile Disney and Marvel's 'The Fantastic Four: First Steps' remained atop international charts with $39.6 million from 52 territories in its second weekend of release, declining 58% from its debut. So far, the superhero adaptation has grossed $368.7 million worldwide, including $170.3 million internationally and $198.4 million in North America. Overseas, the biggest territories are U.K. ($20.5 million), Mexico ($20.4 million) and France ($10.2 million). In terms of newcomers, Universal and DreamWorks Animation's heist comedy 'The Bad Guys 2' landed with $16.3 million from 58 territories. Those ticket sales are slightly ahead of 2022's 'The Bad Guys' in terms of like-for-like markets. Domestically, the sequel debuted to $22.8 million for a global start of $44.5 million. Sam Rockwell, Marc Maron, Craig Robinson lead the voice cast of 'The Bad Guys 2,' which carries an $80 million price tag and follows the newly reformed baddies as they emerge from retirement to perform one last heist. Another new release, Paramount's 'The Naked Gun' reboot, collected $11.5 million from 46 markets in its opening weekend. The film, starring Liam Neeson as bumbling police detective and Pamela Anderson as his unlikely accomplice, opened to $17 million in North America, bringing its worldwide tally to $28.5 million. ‘Starfinder: Afterlight' Brings Paizo's TTRPG to Video Games
Tabletop RPG developer Paizo is taking is first steps into video games through its sci-fi title, Starfinder. Developer Epictellers Entertainment is adapting the Pathfinder offshoot for mouse and keyboard with the single-player RPG Afterlight. In it, players will assemble of crew with their own personal stories and baggage for you to help deal with while embarking on a quest to save the galaxy. Like the recently announced RPG for The Expanse, players can play as different classes and make choices across a branching narrative. But unlike that game—which, like BioWare's Mass Effect, is a third-person shooter with some tactical elements—Afterlight's turn-based combat takes after Starfinder's just-launched second edition. Starfinder: Afterlight will have a Kickstarter campaign launching in the near future. Epictellers also revealed the game's voice cast will be directed by Neil Newbon, the voice of Astarion in 2023's Baldur's Gate 3. That game went on to be a big revenue driver for Dungeons & Dragons the last few years, and it's easy to imagine Afterlight doing the same for Starfinder when it launches for Steam Early Access in 2026.
