Bipasha Basu slams trolls fat-shaming her for weight gain after childbirth: ‘Memes do not define me'
Actor Bipasha Basu is not letting any meme, mocking her for her weight gain after childbirth, define her. She recently took a strong stance against trolls who were body-shaming her post-partum look, asserting that their hurtful comments don't define her identity or self-worth. Also read: Mika Singh feels Bipasha Basu is out of work because of her attitude: 'The drama she created on Dangerous ensured...' Instead, Bipasha pointed out that such behaviour reveals a disturbing aspect of society's mindset towards women. Bipasha took to Instagram to react to the online chatter around her weight gain after embracing motherhood. She expressed her thoughts in the comments section of a reel that criticised the unfair expectations and pressures women face after childbirth. The reel referenced an Instagram post featuring a collage of Bipasha's past and present photos, set to the lyrics of Night Changes, which seemed to emphasise the changes in her appearance over time. Shweta Vijay Nair, a former Miss India and beauty influencer, took to Instagram to speak out against the unrealistic expectations placed on women, particularly mothers. In her reel, she highlighted the emotional and physical toll of motherhood, emphasising how women are expected to juggle multiple roles while facing judgment for even the smallest imperfections in their appearance. A post shared by Shweta (@shwetavijaynair) Bipasha reacted to the whole issue in the comment section. 'Thank you for your clear words... Hope the human race does not remain so shallow and so low forever… and they encouarge and applaud women for the million roles they play each day,' she wrote in the comment section. Bipasha continued, 'I am a super confident woman with a very evolved loving partner and family. Memes and trolls do not define me ever… nor did they make me who i am. But these are deeply disturbing reflections of the society towards women . Another woman in my place could be deeply affected and scarred with the viciousness'. 'Anyways if we have more strong voices and atleast women understanding and applauding women for who they are then women will rise higher and higher :) We are unstoppable ladies,' she ended. Her husband and actor Karan Singh Grover wrote, 'We should be putting all the women we know and love on a pedestal and praying to them. They are the gods/goddesses we should pray to. In fact I believe that god/ source is a feminine energy. Nothing else could have created something as beautiful as life'. He also thanked her for 'being so awesome'. Bipasha and Karan welcomed their first child on November 12, 2022, six years after their marriage. Taking to Instagram, Bipasha had shared a post through which she announced the name of her daughter. The picture read, "12.11.2022. Devi Basu Singh Grover. The physical manifestation of our love and blessings of Ma is here now and she is divine'. Since then, the actor has focused on her daughter.

5 wildlife sanctuaries in India for shutterbugs who love the wild side
If your idea of a perfect shot involves more growls than grins and more paw prints than passport stamps, welcome to the club of wild-hearted shutterbugs! Wildlife photography isn't just about waiting in jeeps and hoping a tiger blinks at your lens, it's a thrilling blend of patience, timing, and the occasional monkey trying to photobomb your frame. Ready to this? Here are five Indian wildlife sanctuaries where nature makes for the ideal backdrop of your photograph. Ranthambhore National Park , Rajasthan Ranthambhore is basically all about drama, with royal ruins draped in vines and the odd banyan tree posing, giving you the drama, history, and a dash of danger. The tigers here love a bit of limelight, especially around water bodies like Padam Talao. Capture them mid-prowl or mid-yawn, and you've got a frame worthy of awards and jealous Instagram DMs. Kaziranga National Park , Assam Kaziranga's one-horned rhinos know how to strike a pose, wait to find them against a backdrop of tall grasslands, swampy wetlands, and misty hills. With elephants plodding through, wild buffaloes grazing, birds doing aerial acrobatics, every corner here is a photo op waiting to happen. Sunderbans National Park, West Bengal The Sunderbans is less about crisp tiger portraits and more about mystery. This mangrove maze is home to the elusive Royal Bengal Tiger, and while you may not always spot one, the tension in the air? Totally photogenic. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like The Most Beautiful Women In The World Undo Think shifting tides, claw marks on tree trunks, and crocodiles playing peek-a-boo from under your boat. It's like the noir version of wildlife photography — thrilling, shadowy, and weirdly addictive. Keoladeo National Park, Rajasthan If you prefer wings over whiskers, Keoladeo is your feathery paradise. Once a royal duck hunting ground, it now hosts thousands of migratory birds — from vibrant kingfishers and cranes to the odd pelican with main-character energy. Bring your longest lens, because these birds are both camera-shy and dramatically fashionable. Mornings here are a meditative blend of fog, flutter, and the occasional splash. Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary, Kerala Periyar is where wildlife photography slows down, takes a deep breath, and goes cruising on a boat. Located around a peaceful lake in Thekkady, the sanctuary offers shots of elephants drinking at the shore, sambars hiding in the greenery, and otters being their adorable, slippery selves. The misty Western Ghats backdrop adds cinematic flair, making every frame feel like a still from documentary. One step to a healthier you—join Times Health+ Yoga and feel the change

In the caption of her post, Shweta also wrote and reflected on what she said in the video. 'Today is Bhai 5th Death Anniversary, a lot has happened since his death on 14th June 2020. Now CBI has submitted a report to the court and we are in a process of retrieving it. But what I want to say today is no matter what happens, don't loose heart and don't loose faith on god or in goodness. Always remember what our Sushant stood for… purity, an unquenchable zeal for life and learning, a heart full of love which believed in treating everyone equally and doing charity. His smile and his eyes had this child like innocence which could stir anyone's heart with overflowing love. That's what our Sushant stood for. That's what we have to stand for,' she wrote. Let his legacy continue… you be the burning candle that lights up other candles to continue his legacy. Any great person's legacy always grows after he has passed on….. you know why is that? Because the magnetism of their personality sows seeds and influences minds for generations to come….❤️🙏 (sic)," she added.
