Fans of The Unwanted Undead Adventurer can't wait to see Rentt Faina's skeletal journey continue, and the good news is that Season 2 has been officially confirmed! Announced on December 15, 2024, during Overlap Bunko's 10th Anniversary Memorial Fest in Tokyo, the second season promises more dark fantasy adventures. This article dives into everything known so far about the release date, cast, and plot details. The Unwanted Undead Adventurer Season 2 release date speculation
No official release date for The Unwanted Undead Adventurer Season 2 has been revealed yet, leaving fans speculating about when Rentt's next chapter will hit screens. The announcement came with a teaser visual featuring Rentt and his bat familiar, Edel, but production details remain scarce. Given typical anime production timelines, which often take 12–18 months, a late 2025 or early 2026 premiere seems plausible. Stay tuned to the official @nozomanufushiPR X account for updates Cast returning for The Unwanted Undead Adventurer Season 2
The voice cast from Season 1 is expected to return, bringing continuity to Rentt's story. Key actors include: Ryota Suzuki as Rentt Faina, the skeleton adventurer chasing evolution.
Mikako Komatsu as Lorraine Vivie, Rentt's scholar ally with sharp wit.
Ikumi Hasegawa as Sheila Ibarss, the guild receptionist with a kind heart.
Sayumi Suzushiro as Rina Rupaage, the young adventurer inspired by Rentt.
Saori Hayami as the Mysterious Woman, whose role may expand in Season 2.
Tomori Kusunoki as Laura Latuule, a noble with ties to Rentt's past.
Shun'ichi Toki as Isaac Hart, a supportive figure in Rentt's journey. What to expect in The Unwanted Undead Adventurer Season 2
The Unwanted Undead Adventurer follows Rentt Faina, a Bronze-class adventurer who, after being devoured by a legendary dragon, awakens as a skeleton in the Labyrinth of the Moon's Reflection. His quest for 'existential evolution' drives him to climb the monster ranks, aiming to regain a human form. Season 1, which aired from January to March 2024 across 12 episodes, adapted up to Volume 3 of Yū Okano's light novel series. It ended with a cliffhanger introducing Wilfried Ryukker, a Mythril-class adventurer who saves Rentt and hints at bigger challenges ahead.
Season 2 is expected to pick up from Volume 4, diving into Volumes 4 and 5 of the light novel. Rentt's journey will likely focus on his continued evolution, possibly into a ghoul or vampire, as he pursues Mythril-class status. Wilfried Ryukker's role remains a mystery, but his presence suggests deeper exploration of Rentt's undead identity and connections to the adventurer world. Expect more dungeon-crawling action, emotional struggles, and alliances with characters like Lorraine Vivie and Rina Rupaage. The manga, serialized on Overlap's Comic Gardo, offers hints of darker themes and intense battles, which Studio Connect should bring to life with the same gritty charm as Season 1.

Kristen Bell on Why Audiences Swoon Over That First ‘Nobody Wants This' Kiss: ‘Comfort Can Be Incredibly Passionate'

Joanne (Kristen Bell) and Noah (Adam Brody) are back for Season 2 of 'Nobody Wants This,' and the show's cast and producers hint that there will be changes to their relationship after the Season 1 finale. 'Joanne and Noah are now at a place in their relationship for Season 2 where they're asking each other different questions,' creator and showrunner Erin Foster revealed at the inaugural Televerse event, hosted on Aug. 15 at the J.W. Marriott L.A. Live. 'Everyone's been in the first couple months of a relationship, and everyone's past the threshold where you ask if you and your partner are going to dinner with each other's families or if you are going to cohabitate with one another. There's all of these teeny, tiny things that link you closer to someone else.' 'We delve a lot deeper into everybody, because we have more time to do that,' she said. 'I think Esther is realizing in Season 2 that she wants to have a good time like Noah and Joanne, and to not have self-imposed bad times.' 'Nobody Wants This' follows Joanne, an agnostic podcast host who finds herself falling in love with Noah, an unconventional rabbi. The two begin to question their growing affection for one another and if they can make romance work between the two. In Season 1's first kiss scene, Bell and Foster revealed the intimacy behind the kiss and why it went viral online. 'In the [first kiss] moment, it is meant to give the audience the passion of like these two people and their comfort together, because comfort can be incredibly passionate,' said Bell. 'It's a deep, beautiful emotion, and we don't associate it with kissing very much.' Added Foster: 'I think that as sometimes as women, there's sort of a universal language that we all know with each other. We have a responsibility when we're creating something that we are telling the narrative of romance to young women. And a lot of it is, have you know their habits that you sort of don't want to emulate, and the idea of showing women a healthy relationship. Sometimes as a woman, we want men to talk to us like we're a little delicate and strong, and to support us.' James Gunn says he's keeping the last three Peacemaker season 2 episodes "close to the chest" so they don't get spoiled early: "I won't even let my publicist see them"

When you buy through links on our articles, Future and its syndication partners may earn a commission. Peacemaker season 2 reviews have begun to surface, but there are still three episodes that critics haven't seen, and the show's creator James Gunn says that's very much on purpose. Only Peacemaker episodes 1-5 have been screened for critics - a "select few," as Gunn tells entertainment journalist Brandon Davis - and he's keeping the last three hidden from prying eyes that might leak spoilers for the final three episodes of Peacemaker season 2. "It could mean they're terrible," Gunn laughs in the video below. "That is one option. Or it could mean that there's a lot of major twists and turns in the last three episodes. And even though I'm sending the first five to a select few, things still get out as you know. Things got out already. You know, people who want to search can be spoiled on purpose, but I really don't want what's in those last three episodes to be spoiled. And so I'm keeping them close to the chest. I won't even let my publicist see them. That's the god's honest truth" "I will also say, six and eight may be my favorite things I've done, like, of all time. It's like some of my favorite stuff ever," Gunn adds. I'm one of those "select few" who has seen those first five Peacemaker season 2 episodes, and while I can't (and won't) reveal a single word of spoilers, the trailers have only scratched the surface of Gunn's latest entry in the DC Universe. I definitely recommend going in as un-spoiled as possible, and frankly, I'm excited that there are still three episodes I can anticipate - especially since Gunn holds them in such high regard in his own catalogue of great superhero movies and shows. Peacemaker season 2 premiers on HBO Max on August 21, 2025 as the next chapter in the DC Universe following Gunn's Superman. ‘Fallout' Season 2 Poster Released; Walton Goggins Teases Tone Of New Season

A new poster for Prime Video's Fallout Season 2 has been released, revealing the season's location and when the show is coming back. Starring Walton Goggins as Cooper Howard/The Ghoul, Ella Purnell as Lucy MacLean, Aaron Moten as Maximus and Kyle MacLachlan as Hank MacLean, Season 1 of Fallout — based on Bethesda Softworks' blockbuster video game series of the same name — was a massive hit on Prime Video in 2024. Created by Geneva Robertson-Dworet and Graham Wagner, and executive produced by Jonathan Nolan, Fallout Season 1 was nominated for 16 Primetime Emmy Awards, winning one for Outstanding Music Supervision. The Emmy nominations for Fallout included Outstanding Drama Series, as well as Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series for Goggins. The teaser poster for Fallout Season 2 was published exclusively by IGN on Friday, which shows silhouettes of The Ghoul, Lucy, Maximus and the canine Dogmeat walking in the sandy, deserted environs of the former Las Vegas, now called New Vegas. Go to IGN to see the full version of the poster, which is teased in the image below. While no specific premiere date was released, the teaser poster indicated that Fallout Season 2 was returning in December. Walton Goggins Says 'Fallout' Season 2 'A Mashup' Of Three Sci-Fi Classics During a recent Zoom conversation with Walton Goggins about his recent Doritos Golden Sriracha-flavored comedy film short, A Spicy But Not Too Spicy Plumber, the Cooper Howard/The Ghoul actor teased the upcoming season of Fallout. While Goggins noted that he's not at liberty to talk about anything specific, he's thrilled with what's coming as a fan of everybody else's work on the show in front of and behind the camera. 'Not being a gamer but being a fan of this universe and a fan of this story, man, what we have in the can is a mashup of — and I'm gonna say, this is gonna sound so random — but Indiana Jones meets Doctor Strangelove meets the Star Wars [Cantina], and so far it's surpassed my expectations,' Goggins enthused. Given Goggins's career in both film and television has spanned decades, he's developed a keen sense when a show is firing on all burners. 'I've been around, so I understand the arcs of seasons and understand if Season 1 catches fire, Season 2 should be better … That's when you're really hitting your stride,' Goggins explained. "The critics will have their point of view or whatever, but I can tell you from my perspective, we've hit our stride and we're telling this story in such a subversive way that it's so fun to watch with real consequences. I just can't wait for people to see it.' Goggins, of course, is coming off the success of The Righteous Gemstones, which just ended its four-season run. Goggins also starred in The White Lotus Season 3, which earned multiple Emmy nominations, including Outstanding Drama Series and an Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series nomination for Goggins. Fallout Season 2 will return to Prime Video in December. Note: Some of the interview quotes in this 'Fallout' Season 2 article have been condensed and edited for clarity.
