Pak Actor Humaira Asghar Ali's Chilling Last Voice Note Goes Viral: 'Mujhe Dua Mein Rakhna'
Pakistani actress and model Humaira Asghar Ali was found dead in her apartment in Karachi. Her body was in a highly decomposed state. A few days after the tragic incident, a voice message she reportedly sent shortly before her death has gone viral on social media. The message was shared by her close friend, Dureshehwar.
In the voice note, Humaira can be heard saying, 'I'm so sorry, I was travelling, caught up here and there. I'm so happy tum Makkah me ho. Mere liye bohot saari please… apni cutie si dost/ behen ke liye bohot saari dil se dua karna. For my career, dua me zarur yaad rakhna. Mere liye bohot saari tumhe dua karni hai. [Please pray a lot for me… Pray a lot from your heart for your cute friend/sister. For my career, please remember me in your prayers. You have to pray a lot for me]."
In a shocking twist to the death of Humaira Asghar, it has now been reported that although her body was discovered in her Karachi apartment just this week, she actually passed away around nine months ago. According to Arab News, Humaira is believed to have died in October 2024. Due to the long gap, her body was found in an 'advanced stage of decomposition." This has been confirmed by Karachi Police Surgeon Dr. Summaiya Syed, who conducted the post-mortem examination.
'As per Call Detail Record (CDR) the last call was made in October 2024," Deputy Inspector General of Police Syed Asad Raza told the publication.
In addition, the report states that Humaira was last seen by her neighbours in September or October 2024. Interestingly, the only other apartment on her floor was unoccupied at the time, which is why no one noticed any unusual smell coming from her flat. This detail helps explain how her death went unnoticed for so many months.
Not just this, officials also revealed that electricity of Humaira's house was also disconnected in October 2024 due to non-payment of bills. 'Humaira's body is likely nine months old. She probably died between paying her last utility bills and when her electricity was disconnected in October 2024, probably due to non-payment of the bill," one of the officials said.
Another official also revealed that the food in the actress' home had also been expired for months. 'The jars had rusted, and food had expired six months ago," the official said.
Humaira Asghar was known for her appearance on ARY's reality show Tamasha Ghar and for her role in the 2015 film Jalaibee. But her talents went far beyond acting. According to her Instagram bio, she was also a theatre artist, painter, sculptor, and a fitness enthusiast. With over 713,000 followers on the platform, she had built a strong presence online. Her final Instagram post, dated September 30, 2024, featured a series of candid photos.

Instagram influencers arrested in UP for ‘vulgar' content; earned ₹30,000/month from ‘cheap' reels
The Uttar Pradesh police have arrested two Instagram influencers - Mehak and Pari - for posting 'vulgar' content on social media to gain views. According to the First Information Report (FIR), besides the two influencers identified as Mehak and Pari (alias Nisha), two of their other team members have also been named in the case. They were arrested on Monday night. A search for Mehak and Pari on Instagram reveals multiple accounts with large followings, including '@mehakpari143', which has close to 4.8 lakh followers. Several mirror accounts have also surfaced, sharing their videos where they discuss sex-related topics and use commonly heard profanities. Police said that some of these accounts have been removed by the platform following legal directives, though a few were still accessible as of Wednesday evening (July 16). The social media influencers in question were earning 'approximately ₹ 25,000 to ₹ 30,000 per month from their Instagram content.' "Tempted by this income, they resorted to using vulgar language and obscene visuals to attract viewers and gain cheap popularity," a police official was quoted as saying. Sambhal Superintendent of Police Krishan Bishnoi told the media that Mehak, Pari, and Hina - residents of Shahbazpur village under the Asmoli police station limits - had been uploading 'reels containing obscene language, abuses and gestures.' 'Through these videos, they were crossing all limits of obscenity. There was a lot of anger among the local people and villagers due to their actions. After a complaint by the villagers, action was taken,' the officer said. 'All those who spread obscenity to gain cheap popularity on Instagram are requested not to do such things. The police will not hesitate to take strict legal action against such people,' he added. A case was registered against the two women (Mehak and Pari) on Sunday evening under Section 296 B (singing, reciting, or uttering any obscene song, ballad, or words in or near any public place) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and relevant sections of the Information Technology Act.
