'Israel' threatens Syria with more strikes
Deadly clashes have been taking place between Bedouins and Druze fighters in Suwayda since Sunday, with the Syrian Defense Minister announcing a 'ceasefire' yesterday after an agreement with the 'city's dignitaries'.
'The Syrian regime must leave the Druze in Sweida alone and withdraw its forces. As we have made clear and warned, Israel will not abandon the Druze in Syria and will enforce the demilitarization policy we have decided on,' Katz said.
'The IDF will continue to strike regime forces until they withdraw from the area, and will soon escalate its response against the regime if the message is not understood,' he added.

UNRWA: Israel Starves a Million Children in Gaza
Khaberni -UNRWA stated on Sunday that Israel is deliberately starving civilians in Gaza, including a million children, many of whom are suffering from malnutrition and are at risk of death. The agency clarified that it has enough food for all the residents of Gaza for more than three months, stored in warehouses on the Egyptian side of the Rafah border crossing. On its X platform account, UNRWA called for lifting the blockade on the Gaza Strip and allowing the entry of food and medicine. The international agency stated, "Lift the blockade: Allow UNRWA to bring in food and medicine. UNRWA appealed to the Israeli authorities saying, "Lift the blockade, allow UNRWA to do its work and help those in need, including a million children." This comes amid an increase in the number of children who have died due to malnutrition in Gaza to 71 children, according to the Media Office in Gaza. Earlier, Hamas announced an urgent popular and official mobilization to stop this heinous crime and save hundreds of thousands of starving people who are besieged. Meanwhile, the Islamic Jihad Movement said that the cases of starvation and mass death in Gaza are the result of systematic occupation policies, adding that "the occupying army has established a militarized network through what is called the Gaza Humanitarian Institution and turned it into traps to kill the starving." Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with American support, has been committing genocide in Gaza, which includes killing, starving, destruction, and displacement, ignoring international calls and orders issued by the International Court of Justice to stop it. The genocide has resulted in more than 198,000 Palestinians killed or injured - most of them children and women - in addition to hundreds of thousands of displaced persons and a famine that has claimed the lives of many residents of the sector. The Media Office confirmed that the number of deaths due to lack of food and medicine has risen to 620 amid intensifying famine and prevention of the humanitarian distribution of aid. The Ministry of Health in Gaza stated that unprecedented numbers of starving citizens of all ages are reaching emergency departments in conditions of severe exhaustion and fatigue. It warned that hundreds of those whose bodies were emaciated would be prone to inevitable death due to hunger and their bodies' inability to endure.

Chances of Gaza ceasefire, captive deal increasing, says 'Israeli' Chief of Staff
'Israeli' Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir said on Sunday that the likelihood of reaching a ceasefire in Gaza and a captive release agreement is increasing, amid ongoing indirect negotiations with Hamas. During a visit to troops in Gaza, Halevi said the army's battlefield achievements in 'Operation Gideon's Chariots' are pushing Hamas closer to defeat and creating conditions for a potential deal on captives. 'For months, indirect negotiations between 'Israel' and Hamas have been underway in Doha, seeking a 60-day ceasefire and the release of hostages. Mediators from Qatar, Egypt, and the US are involved,' he noted, adding that recent 'Israeli' media reports have hinted at progress, though no breakthrough appears imminent. Halevi also stated that the army is prepared for all scenarios. 'We will adopt new operational models to boost our strengths, reduce vulnerabilities, and deepen our gains in the field,' he said.

Palestinian Authority faces unprecedented financial, economic siege: Abbas
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas confirmed that the Palestinian National Authority is currently subjected to an unprecedented financial and economic siege due to the withholding of Palestinian tax revenues, which exceed two billion dollars, by the Israeli ×ccupation government. President Abbas called on the international community to intervene immediately to halt what he described as a "crime of starvation" and emphasized the urgent need to deliver food and medical aid to Gaza. He also stressed the importance of international action to stop the ongoing aggression against the Palestinian people in Gaza, to end settler terrorism, and to halt attacks on Christian and Islamic holy sites in the West Bank, including Jerusalem. Abbas added that the world has been urged to pressure the Israeli government to release the withheld funds and lift the siege imposed on the Palestinian people. He affirmed that the Palestinian Authority will not succumb to the systematic measures employed by the Israeli Occupation aimed at undermining the two-state solution and preventing the establishment of an independent Palestinian state.
