Jenna Ortega
, is back for another thrilling season and going by the early buzz, the reviews for Season 2 - Part 1 has been overwhelmingly positive. Within hours of Netflix dropping the first four episodes, fans turned to social media to share their honest reviews and comments about the show.
Viewers are hailing the latest chapter as a vast improvement over its predecessor, with darker storylines, humour, deeper ties to the Addams family, and plenty of intrigue to keep audiences hooked.
'Wednesday Season 2 is a lot better than Season 1 so far. Now… to wait a month for four more episodes,' wrote one fan, echoing the sentiment of many frustrated by the mid-season break. Another viewer posted, 'OMG 1 more episode left of #WednesdaySeason2 and it's so good. So much darker, funnier and epic with cameos. I can't wait to finish the last 1 and get to part 2.'

The show's character arcs have also been appreciated. 'In my opinion, S2 is better than S1. More horror, more Addams family, the new characters, Willow Hill, Wednesday doing everything in her power to save Enid, etc. I really dislike the love triangle with Enid though — just like I hated the one with Wednesday,' a fan noted, reflecting the mix of praise and critique circulating online.
The gothic visuals and family-centric narrative have also earned praise. Pinkvilla captured the mood well with tweets like, 'The second season of #Wednesday… it is clear it won't disappoint! It's fabulous!!!!!' Others celebrated the show's immersive vibe from the get-go. 'I'm not even halfway through the first episode of #Wednesday Season 2, and I'm having the BEST time,' one user exclaimed. 'The vibes are fresh and exciting, and the cast steps back into their roles like they never left.'
'WEDNESDAY SEASON 2 IS ALREADY A MASTERPIECE' declared another.
While the overwhelming sentiment is one of admiration, some viewers voiced frustration at the makers' decision to release the season in two parts. Reviews lamented the wait for the remaining episodes, calling the split release 'half‑baked.'
According to Rotten Tomatoes, the show has already received an 83% critics rating and an 86% audience rating, already much higher than season 1, thus setting the tone of a promising Part 2. Those waiting to see how this mystery ends, will have to wait until September 3.

Neil Nitin Mukesh challenges nepotism assumptions, emphasizing hard work over family connections in Bollywood. Despite his lineage, he asserts that talent is paramount, citing Shah Rukh Khan and Kartik Aaryan as inspirations. Neil was recently featured in 'Hai Junoon' and is currently awaiting his next project announcement, highlighting his journey and perspective on the industry. Neil Nitin Mukesh recently opened up about his journey in the film industry, challenging common assumptions about nepotism. Coming from a well-known film family, Neil shared how despite his lineage, he has faced struggles like many outsiders. Rejecting the Label of Nepotism In conversation with Screen, Neil expressed that he does not agree with the term 'nepotism' because, despite his film family background, he has had to work hard like many others to build his career. He shared that although being born into the industry may change how people see him, it has not helped him get work easily. In fact, he said that neither his grandfather Mukesh, his father Nitin Mukesh, nor himself have received special support in their careers. Over three generations, they have all faced significant struggles and have worked hard to sustain their craft and make a living. Talent Over Connections He also stressed that talent is the most important thing, and no matter how many chances an actor gets, they won't succeed without it. He pointed out that today's stars look up to Shah Rukh Khan as a benchmark—not just because he is a huge superstar, but also because he started as an outsider and made it big. Neil said he, too, draws inspiration from actors like Shah Rukh Khan and Kartik Aaryan , who comes from a non-film background. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like 25 Best Cities for Living Undo He appreciates Kartik's simple family values and the strong bond he shares with his parents, which he finds refreshing.
