According to Netflix's Tudum, the 'Heartstopper' movie will star Kit Connor (as Nick Nelson) and Joe Locke (as Charlie Spring). They will also serve as executive producers.
The film, which will pick up after the events of Season 3 and begins filming this summer, is being directed by Wash Westmoreland and written by the show's creator and executive producer Alice Oseman, who wrote the graphic novels that the series is based on.

'I'm so grateful to everyone who has worked hard to make this possible and to the incredible fans of 'Heartstopper' for your patience and passion. I cannot wait to bring this story to a magical conclusion.'
The synopsis for the movie reads, 'Nick and Charlie are inseparable, but with Nick preparing to leave for university and Charlie finding new independence at school, the reality of a long-distance relationship begins to weigh on them. Connor, 21, who won a Children's and Family Emmy Award for his role as Nick, recently starred in 'Romeo & Juliet' on Broadway alongside Rachel Zegler and in the film 'Warfare.'
The British actor came out as bisexual in Oct. 2022 after facing queerbaiting accusations over his 'Heartstopper' role. He clarified his coming out in a July 2023 interview with British Vogue, saying, 'I think 'forced' isn't the right word I would use, but I would say that I would have preferred to do it another way. I also don't know if I would have ever done it.'

'But at the end of the day I don't regret it. In many ways it was really empowering,' he added.
Locke's recent gigs include the Broadway revival of 'Sweeney Todd' and the Marvel miniseries 'Agatha All Along,' where he played Wanda Maxmimoff's (Elizabeth Olsen) son Billy.

The 21-year-old told Teen Vogue in 2023 that obsessed 'Heartstopper' fans stalked his family.
'It's a weird guilt I sometimes feel that, by association, their lives are affected by choices in my life,' Locke said. 'I need to learn my boundaries and people need to learn their boundaries.'

Sam Heughan to play Macbeth in Royal Shakespeare Company debut
OUTLANDER star Sam Heughan is to play Macbeth in his debut with the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC). The British theatre company has announced its programme of events for 2025/2026, including a raft of plays that will be staged in Stratford-upon-Avon, the birthplace of famous playwright William Shakespeare. In the RSC's latest version of Macbeth, Scottish actor Heughan, 45, known for playing Highland warrior Jamie Fraser in romance drama Outlander, will star opposite The Day Of The Jackal actress Lia Williams, as Lady Macbeth. READ MORE: How Edinburgh became a capital truly fit for a king Heughan said: 'At age 18, standing on the main stage of the Royal Lyceum Edinburgh, playing 'spear-carrier number 2' (essentially a glorified extra) in a production of Macbeth, I could only dream of one day playing the infamous title character. 'It feels full circle to be returning to the stage, after over a decade working primarily in television and film. 'Not only is Macbeth my favourite Shakespeare play: intense, immediate and unsettling, it also happens to be famously Scottish. 'The RSC has always been at the pinnacle of my ambition and I feel deeply honoured and thankful to be working alongside some enormously talented and creative people. 'The Other Place is the perfect space to create an intense, intimate production and, like Lady M, we will be calling upon the spirits of the RSC's highly acclaimed past productions for their blessing.' David Tennant, Sir Ian McKellen, and Ralph Fiennes are among the actors who have played the famous character who, consumed by greed and power, murders the king to take the Scottish throne for himself. The new production will be shown at The Other Place theatre from October 9 to December 6. Elsewhere, four of Shakespeare's most famous characters have their stories revisited across two performances, also being staged at The Other Place, from January 2026. The first performance in All Is But Fantasy explores the story of Lady Macbeth, who is consumed by guilt after plotting to murder King Duncan, and Emilia, a character in tragedy play, Othello. The second performance looks at the story of Juliet, from tragic romance story Romeo And Juliet, and Richard III, who uses manipulation to become king in the eponymous play. READ MORE: Edinburgh Fringe programme launches with 3350 shows across 265 venues Olivier award-winning actor Adrian Lester will play the title role of Cyrano de Bergerac in a new version of Edmond Rostand's play about the novelist and playwright, showing at the Swan Theatre from September 27 to November 15. Over at the Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Harry Potter star Alfred Enoch will star as Henry V in a play running from March 14 to April 25 2026. Other highlights include an 80-minute staging of King Lear and a two-part adaptation of John Galsworthy's novels, The Forsyte Saga, both playing at the Swan Theatre later in the year, with the former also going on tour. The RSC is also staging plays in the West End and recently announced the UK premiere of Liz Duffy Adams's Born With Teeth, which will play at Wyndham's Theatre, previewing on August 13 with a final performance on November 1. The production follows rival playwrights Christopher Marlowe, played by Doctor Who's Ncuti Gatwa, and Shakespeare, played by Killing Eve's Edward Bluemel.

Michael J. Fox's ‘Back to the Future' guitar has been missing for decades — and a new doc is hunting it down
The power of — a doc. Michael J. Fox famously rocked out on guitar to Chuck Berry's 'Johnny B. Goode' in an iconic scene from 'Back to the Future.' But now it's more like 'Johnny B. Gone': The instrument Fox's Marty McFly played at the Enchantment Under the Sea high school dance has been missing for nearly 40 years. Advertisement Now, as the 1985 blockbuster turns 40 on July 3, the search for the cherry red Gibson ES-345 guitar is being tracked in an upcoming documentary, 'Lost to the Future.' 4 A video featuring Michael J. Fox and his 'Back to the Future' castmates launched the hunt for the guitar on Tuesday. ©Universal/Courtesy Everett Collection Gibson Guitars, Universal Home Entertainment and filmmaker Doc Crotzer have teamed up for the search for the long-lost axe. Advertisement The hunt was launched on Tuesday with a video featuring Fox and his 'fellow 'Back to the Future' cast members including Lea Thompson, Christopher Lloyd, Harry Waters Jr. and Huey Lewis. 'I always wanted to be a rock 'n' roll guitarist, that's all I wanted to do,' Fox, 63, told People about the scene in which he performs the Penguins' 1954 hit 'Earth Angel' in addition to Berry's 1958 classic. 'It's always been a passion of mine, rock 'n' roll, and particularly the guitar. There's just something about it, like you are wringing the magic and the music out of it.' In turn, Fox's big guitar moment inspired Crotzer. ''Back to the Future' made me want to make movies as a kid, and made me want to pick up a guitar,' he told Billboard. 'I went on with my [filmmaking] career, but I had always wondered what happened to that guitar. Over the last however many years so many props from the movie have surfaced … but [the guitar] had never surfaced.' Advertisement 4 'I always wanted to be a rock 'n' roll guitarist,' Michael J. Fox said of playing the instrument in 'Back to Future.' ©Universal/Courtesy Everett Collection Gibson's director of brand experience Mark Agnesi — who previously worked at Norm's Rare Guitars, the Tarzana, California shop from where the instrument was rented — was also inspired to play from the 'Back to the Future' scene. 'I've been searching for this thing for 16 years now,' he told Billboard. 'I started searching everywhere. Norm's has this big warehouse of guitars and occasionally I'd go in and look for certain things, and every time I'm in there I was always looking around for [the 'Back to the Future' guitar], but to no avail.' The guitar was apparently sold, then sold back to Norm's and then resold again. Advertisement 4 Michael J. Fox rocked out out on guitar to the Chuck Berry classic 'Johnny B. Fox's 'Back to the Future' axe was rented from Norm's Rare Guitars in Tarzana, California. ©Universal/Courtesy Everett Collection 'Back then there was no digital record of that stuff; it was all hand-written receipts and stuff,' said Agnesi. 'We know it was returned to Norm's. At that time in the mid '80s there was a Japanese vintage guitar boom; charter buses of Japanese tourists were pulling up and buying everything in sight. So it could be someone has it in Japan. We don't know. The possibilities of where it could be are endless.' While the guitar's serial number is unknown, it has a unique feature, according to Agnesi: the solid inlay on the 12th fret, unlike the split ones that were standard on the ES-345 at the time. 'That anomaly is the smoking gun we're looking for, thank God,' he said. 'That will not be on any other guitar … That's how we'll know we've found the guitar we're looking for.' Anyone with leads on the guitar's whereabouts can call 1-888-345-1955 or send a message via
