The Masked Singer's Mo Gilligan accused of being 'deadbeat dad' by secret child's mother
Mo Gilligan has reportedly fathered a child in secret and now has another baby on the way. The Masked Singer star is currently preparing to welcome his first child with partner Taia Tulher, 28.
While Mo, 37, is said to be thrilled about the upcoming arrival with his model girlfriend, the mother of his first child has publicly accused him of being a "deadbeat dad" as she claims he has little to no involvement in their son's life.
Although the comedian never publicly announced becoming a father, it's believed he met 35-year-old model Selina Christoforou online, and the two went on to have a baby, the Mirror reports.
A source told The Sun: "Mo met Selina after messaging her on social media and they hung out casually for a few months."
The insider continued: "She found out she was pregnant in May 2023 and it was quite a shock for them both because they'd been fairly careful. But she wanted to have the baby, despite the fact they weren't actually a couple.
"She adores their son and Mo sees him semi-regularly. Now he's about to become a dad for a second time and he's over the moon. He has been with Taia for quite a long time now and he feels ready to settle down."
However, Selina has offered a different perspective, on her son Rudy's relationship with dad Mo.
In a TikTok video shared to Instagram, she expressed frustration over Mo's alleged lack of involvement, saying: "I just finally posted on Instagram about my son's dad so for your information, if you don't follow my Instagram I don't blame you. Um, Mo Gilligan is his dad. Very much in quotation marks."
She went on to claim that she knows how rarely the TV star has seen his son and shared that she had long hoped things would improve for her "unbelievable" little boy. Still, she acknowledged: "You can't make someone be a dad," claiming that Mo had made it clear he didn't want to take on the role.
Mo's current partner, Taia, announced her pregnancy in March with a heartfelt Instagram post, though she did not name the father at the time.
Showing off her growing bump, she wrote: "Today, I carry the love that made me, the love I've always known… and the love I've only just begun to understand.
"For a long time, I didn't know when I would share this. But now feels right. Because today, on Mother's Day, I get to celebrate my own mother - and the tiny soul who has already made me one, too.'"
Mo and Taia have been quietly dating for two years and currently live together in London.

Kerry Katona and Katie Price 'desperate' for daughters to do I'm A Celebrity
Kerry Katona and Katie Price appear to be following in Kris Jenner's footsteps and have already mapped out their daughters' rise to fame with a huge reality show Katie Price and Kerry Katona could soon find themselves replacing original momager, Kris Jenner. Former singer Kerry and her glamour model icon Katie have appeared on dozens of reality shows over the course of their careers and now, they've set their sights on their daughters following in their showbiz footsteps. It comes as no surprise that the daughters of two of the most recognisable women in the nation have allegedly been flooded with offers in the past to appear on various shows and now, Kerry admits it's something she's keen for her daughter Heidi to do, alongside Katie's daughter, Princess Andre. While Princess has bagged her own reality show, which Katie has spoken openly about, Kerry admits that she would love to see Heidi and Princess appear alongside one another on a completely different show. It comes after Katie Price worries fans with appearance in family photo after explaining weight loss. The two stars met on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! in 2004, of which Kerry won, she hopes that the pair will one day find themselves in the jungle together. "I'm desperate for Princess and Heidi to do the Jungle together, imagine," Kerry said. In a joint interview with The Sun, Katie added: "I always say Love Island. Heidi and Princess need to do it together." Kerry commented: "The way I see it is, forget management, forget fame, what an amazing memory, what an amazing adventure. So I think if Heidi goes to Love Island for three months and has the best time then that's amazing." Meanwhile, she added that while people may be quick to criticise their children for being "nepo-babies", she admits that everybody has a contact, somewhere. She commented: "I can open a door for you. Whether you get through that door and you stay through it, that's on your own f****ing merit. You don't see Brooklyn Beckham playing f****ing football, because he's sh*t." But Heidi isn't the only one of Kerry's daughters that she's encouraging to appear on Love Island. Speaking to the Mirror, she previously said: "Do Love Island make a sh*t load of money, Lilly!" Meanwhile, Katie has opened up about Princess's upcoming show. Speaking to her sister, Sophie, on their podcast, she said: "Princess is now officially an adult so mummy and Princess can now go out together. If certain people would let her be seen with me. "Everyone knows she's doing this documentary - and I'm not in it. Certain people don't think it's good for Princess to be seen with me. Certain people that used to look after me." "You aren't on brand, Katie. You are too risky, Katie, that's why," her sister retorted. "It's pathetic. I'm her mother," Katie snapped. "It's so sad," she lamented. "When certain people who used to look after me are now looking after..." Katie was then cut off by her sister Sophie, who encouraged her to "save it for another day." The MailOnline reported that dad Peter Andre and his wife Emily will be featured but Katie will be taking a back seat. A source said: "Katie will not be in Princess's show, the decision has been made and it's final. Princess loves her mum, and they have a great relationship, but the show is all about her work and home life. "Television bosses were adamant that nothing was to be 'staged' to include Katie as it would not be a real and truthful insight into her life." The show will follow Princess up to her turning 18 in June.
