The victory of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) is one for all; it's more than just a win; it's an 'unreal achievement' according to England football captain Harry Kane. Following the RCB vs. Punjab Kings (PBKS) Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 final, the English footballer shared a heartfelt, congratulatory post for Virat Kohli and team RCB's triumph.
Taking to his Instagram, Kane sent his congratulations to cricket legend Virat Kohli after the team claimed their first IPL trophy in the last 18 years. Kane's post caption read, "One from the archives to say a massive congrats to @virat.kohli and @royalchallengers.bengaluru on a first IPL title!! Unreal achievement 🏏🏆"
Virat Kohli is renowned as one of the modern international legends in the cricket world; unfortunately, Kohli never succeeded in winning the IPL until Tuesday, when his side beat PBKS by six runs at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

RCB and King Kohli have been receiving a slew of congratulatory messages from across the globe, from politicians to footballers from around the world. However, the relationship between Harry Kane and Virat Kohli is a bit different.
The bond between Kohli and Kane has grown over the years; the duo is frequently spotted welcoming one another and applauding each other's athletic achievements when they are on foreign tours.
In the past, Kane has openly supported Kohli's side throughout the team's highs and lows.
Fans react to Harry Kane's congratulatory message for Virat Kohli
As soon as Kane's post surfaced on social media, it quickly went viral, and fans started sharing their thoughts on the same.
One said, "This photo is legendary." "English legend and Indian legend ❤️," another added.
"After all the hard work… they got what they deserved," one wrote.
"Tis the season of breaking trophy jinxes ♥️🫡" "Harry kane breaks everyone curse".
Harry Kane is no stranger to a trophy drought
If we look at the bigger picture, Kane himself is no stranger to a trophy drought, as the striker came close on a number of occasions at Tottenham and couldn't get his hands on any silverware during his first season with Bayern Munich; however, Vincent Kompany's team defeated Bayer Leverkusen to reclaim the Bundesliga title in the second season. Housefull 5 Day 1 India Box Office: Akshay Kumar fronted comedy nets a good Rs 22 crore on Friday; To make big gains over holiday weekend

Akshay Kumar fronted Housefull 5, directed by Tarun Mansukhani, has taken a good start at the Indian box office. Based on early estimates, the film's opening day collections are around Rs 22 crore net. This can be taken as a win for Akshay Kumar, who has been in search for a solid theatrical hit. Initially, advance bookings suggested the film might struggle to cross Rs 20 crore. But strong on-the-day bookings have pushed it past that mark with ease. Housefull 5 boasts a massive ensemble cast, including Akshay Kumar, Riteish Deshmukh, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Abhishek Bachchan. The comedy seems to have struck a chord, especially in mass pockets, where walk-in audiences have boosted its numbers. The Rs 22 crore opening is a promising sign, placing it among Akshay's biggest openers in a leading role. Only Mission Mangal, Sooryavanshi and Gold have registered better openings. The Day Wise Box Office Collections Of Housefull 5 Are As Under The opening day number of Housefull 5 proves that the Housefull franchise continues to have a loyal fanbase. With holidays ahead, Housefull 5 is poised for a strong showing. Advance bookings for Saturday and Sunday look robust, with estimates pointing to a weekend haul of around Rs 85 crore net. This would be very good for a comedy film in today's market. Slapstick comedy is difficult to hit the right notes and that's the reason we have such few comedies releasing these days. The initials of Housefull 5 show that there is an audience for unadulterated comedy ensembles and producers should be more fearless in staging such ensemble comedies. The movie's real test begins after the weekend. Ticket prices will drop on weekdays, and Housefull 5 needs to maintain steady collections to keep the momentum going. To emerge a hit, the film must aim for the Rs 200 crore net mark in India. The good news is that there is no Bollywood release until Sitaare Zameen Par and that means that the comic-caper will enjoy an open run. For Akshay Kumar, Housefull 5's opening is a ray of hope. After a string of underperformers, Housefull 5 could be his biggest post-pandemic grosser.

Will the WTC cap off the finest triumph for Messrs Starc, Cummins, Hazlewood & Lyon who have never won ICC Test silverware together?

When the 22 players line up at Lord's next week for the third ICC World Test Championship final, the statistical lopsidedness hanging over the Australian and South African contingents will be hard to neglect. In all likelihood, it will spur a reflection on the sheer might of a legendary quartet that has carried Australia's vaunted bowling legacy with even greater spirits since the second half of the previous decade. Despite their respective Test debuts in the early 2010s, it was not until late 2017 that Australia could tether the tenacious Mitchell Starc, the irrepressible Pat Cummins, a relentless Josh Hazlewood and 'GOAT' Nathan Lyon together. For a series of varying injuries, combinations and other reasons before and since their first initiation against England in the 2017 Ashes at the Gabba, it has only taken the Starc-Cummins-Hazlewood-Lyon union 32 Tests to forge arguably the most successful Test bowling attack of all time. It will be hard to shrug off those astute accumulations – 522 wickets between them in only 32 of the 70 Tests Australia have played in the last eight years. Clocking an average of 16.22 wickets per match, the 'S.C.H.L' attack stands peerless on the four-bowler Test combinations, with the second-placed James Anderson-Stuart Broad-Ben Stokes-Moeen Ali quadruple amassing 424 wickets in 34 Tests across nine years at 12.74 wickets per game. Matches together Career overall Wickets Average SR Wickets Average SR Pat Cummins 137 23.06 49.9 294 22.43 46.31 Mitchell Starc 129 28.95 51 382 27.57 48.52 Josh Hazlewood 128 22.14 50.2 279 24.57 53.1 Nathan Lyon 125 31.52 69.7 553 30.19 61.66 Wickets from their combined presence nearly match the South African WTC squad's total wicket-taking experience (690), polished heavily by Kagiso Rabada (327 wickets) in one half. The lack of English experience will also leave the Saffers bowling only a third in the strength of Test caps in the country, as opposed to the S.C.H.L, ahead of Australia and South Africa's first neutral Test fixture in 113 years since their Lord's meeting in 1912. Despite the propensity of this four-man attack to champion contrasting conditions, Australia's S.C.H.L has had a limited presence outside their daunting home territory Down Under. Interestingly, only twice before have Australia fielded all four modern greats together in England across 11 Tests since 2019, picking up 34 wickets at a strike rate of 56.0. Over 77 percent (400) of the Starc-Cummins-Hazlewood-Lyon combine's wickets have come in 24 home Tests, 15 of which have fashioned outright Australian victories. Despite their assertive role in the conditioning of Australia's bowling wheel for a considerable period, the quartet has missed out on collective ICC Test silverware. The next WTC cycle, starting immediately after the upcoming Lord's finale, will probably be the final edition where Australia will have the advantage of their own 'Fab 4' in the roster. While they have appeared in multiple 'threes' in the past, the S.C.H.L. is yet to win either the ICC Test mace or the WTC crown, for Hazlewood missed out on the 2023 final win over India at the Oval due to injury. The capricious London skies and the dark Dukes ball will beckon more load from the pace trio of the Oz order next week. While Lyon's nagging presence will keep him in the game at any given point, skipper Cummins, Starc and Hazlewood will be the vicious prongs the Proteas would not necessarily savour. Starc-Cummins-Hazlewood-Lyon attack Matches Wickets Average SR In Australia 24 400 25.18 53.8 In England 2 34 26.42 56.1 Overall 32 519 26.33 55.0 In the four Tests the trio have played without Lyon in England, Starc, Cummins and Hazlewood have totalled 53 wickets, averaging 30 with a dismissal every 46 deliveries. Potentially heading into their 35th Test, the Starc-Hazlewood-Cummins trio remains Australia's most prolific pace attack and joint-fifth on the wicket-taking charts among all pace Test trios ever. Snaring 12.23 wickets per appearance, the all-encompassing triumvirate stands only behind New Zealand's Trent Boult-Tim Southee-Neil Wagner (13.38 wkts/match) and the fiery yesteryear Windies club of Joel Garner, Michael Holding and Malcolm Marshall, who reeled in 331 wickets in 26 Tests at 12.73. A Scott Boland challenge awaits Hazlewood in the race to make the XI at Lord's next week. But for four of Australia's bulwarks, an enticing chance of collective glory awaits at the home of cricket, nevertheless. Will the S.C.H.L school Temba Bavuma and Co. on the way to defend their status at the top of the championship, or will the underdog South African attack upset the Aussie applecart at the home of cricket? Bhagyashree Gets Surprise Proposal From Husband After 35 Years Of Marriage

Last Updated: Bhagyashree shares dreamy photos as husband Himalay Dassani finally proposes after 35 years. The surprise gesture has fans gushing over their timeless romance. Bhagyashree and Himalay Dassani's love story is one for the ages—rooted in youthful beginnings, tested by time, and sealed with a bond that has only grown stronger over three decades. But as the Maine Pyaar Kiya star recently revealed, there was one thing missing all these years: a proper proposal. And now, 30 years into their marriage, Himalay has finally gone down on one knee—and fans can't get enough. On Friday, Bhagyashree took to her Instagram to share a heart-melting moment straight out of a romantic movie. During a photoshoot, the actress was taken by surprise when her husband walked in, music playing, and dropped to his knees to propose in front of the crew. The moment was captured in a series of candid and dreamy photographs by photographer Prashant Samtani. The background score? A soulful rendition of 'Kabhi Usey Noor Noor Kehta Hoon"—though Bhagyashree humorously quipped that 'Diljit would have cried to hear this version tho!" View this post on Instagram A post shared by Bhagyashree (@ In her caption, she lovingly wrote, 'Secret let out… No matter what everyone feels about Himalayji being a romantic husband… he wasn't so earlier and I kept telling him that he never really had proposed to me. So here I was, midst of a photoshoot, and to my surprise he just interrupted us with this song… But yay! Hubby decided to finally go on his knees." The internet swooned over the gesture, flooding the comments with warmth and admiration. 'A perfect bonding, God-given," wrote one fan, while another gushed, 'Made for each other. I love both of you—incalculable!" A third echoed the sentiment: 'Your love is an inspiration for others." The iconic actress married Himalay Dassani shortly after the blockbuster success of Maine Pyar Kiya in 1989. Their love, however, has stood quietly strong over the years. Together, they've raised two children—son Abhimanyu Dassani, who made a sensational Bollywood debut with Mard Ko Dard Nahi Hota and won a Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut, and daughter Avantika Dassani, who stepped into the spotlight with the psychological thriller Mithya. This surprise proposal, decades after their wedding vows, feels like a reminder: love isn't just about grand gestures at the start—it's about finding new ways to say 'I choose you" again and again. For Bhagyashree and Himalay, it may have taken thirty years—but the sparkle in their eyes says it was worth the wait. First Published:
