Panic as beloved Coronation Street resident is found collapsed in new video
There's panic for Coronation Street favourite Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) when she collapses at number 13 and requires urgent medical attention.
When she began to suffer symptoms she originally attributed to the menopause, Debbie sought medical advice.
After the doctor learned that Debbie had been suffering blackouts, chronic mood swings and increasing levels of forgetfulness, he diagnosed her with young-onset dementia and told her that the blackouts were probably due TIA's (mini strokes) and warned that they were likely to continue.
Debbie, utterly rocked, resolved to keep her diagnosis secret, particularly from brother Kevin (Michael Le Vell) who was battling testicular cancer and long-term partner Ronnie Bailey (Vinta Morgan), who she broke up with, determined not to become a burden.
Following further incidents, including passing out in front of her family, Debbie finally revealed the truth about her condition.
As more and more people learned of her dementia, including Ronnie, he set out to reunite with his ex. Debbie put up a fight, but ultimately accepted that Ronnie wanted to support her, and the two reunited.
They further solidified their love when Debbie proposed at the wedding of Dev Alahan (Jimmi Harkishin) and Bernie Winter (Jane Hazlegrove).
Upcoming episodes will see Debbie decide to let herself into Kevin's house to do a touch of cleaning while he and his family are away on holiday.
Debbie is, however, unaware that Abi (Sally Carman-Duttine) has faked the loss of her passport in order to stay at home and continue her clandestine affair with her husbands brother, Carl (Jonathan Howard). More Trending
In fact, when Debbie enters number 9, Carl is upstairs while Abi is at the shop, fetching drinks.
Debbie begins to falter, speaking incoherently and eventually collapsing, Carl comes down to investigate, finding his sister in a bad way.
As Abi returns home, she's relieved that Debbie didn't see him before her incident and shoos him away before calling an ambulance.

Fans fear the best show of 2025 'could suffer' after devastating update
Ben Stiller has left fans worried after revealing he is stepping back from directing the upcoming third season of Severance. Katisha's Love Is Blind decision doesn't make her a villain
As soon as we saw Katisha wince upon hearing Demola's speaking voice on their final pod date, I knew we were in for some trouble. Netflix's premier dating show Love is Blind returned for a second run of its UK series last week, introducing 30 single men and women who date in solo rooms – pods – without seeing each other, before getting engaged and meeting for the first time. Immediately, Scottish nanny and makeup artist Katisha was one of this season's standouts, as she declared her hopes of finding a genuine gentleman after a history of bad connections. 'My usual type's not working for me, so I'm not gonna go with that!' she laughed. 'I'm looking for the love story now; my Mr Darcy.' 'I'm not trying to just settle,' he explained during their first meeting. 'I want to make sure that the person I am with is my soulmate and I can love her up forever, honestly.' But Katisha's ultimate decision – accepting the proposal of another man – has been met with fierce opposition. Instead of accepting a 31-year-old woman can make up her own mind about romantic partners, viewers have been questioning her sanity and painting her as some sort of villain for picking one man over another. As a Love Is Blind devotee, I can understand the disappointment. In several scenes, we watched as Demola and Katisha bonded over their love for their grandmothers, got vulnerable about their childhoods and hypothesised about a loving future together. 'Ahh,' I thought, watching wistfully, 'Surely nothing can get in the way of this obviously perfect match?' But, as is par for the course in this franchise, there was a spanner in the works in the form of another potential partner: Javen. The London-based health coach was also vying for Katisha's affections, albeit in a much more laidback manner. 'Javen is a cool guy, I guess more like my usual type,' Katisha explained, eyes dreamy. Uh oh. Over the course of their dates, Javen was more cautious in expressing his interest in Katisha, and even claimed that she'd have to propose to him if they were to progress past the pods – outrageous in the admittedly traditional Love is Blind universe. 'If you want a woman, you've gotta pursue her however you wanna do it – that's the game,' he opined to-camera. In terms of ideal husband material, Demola seemed to be the clear choice, and after he shared a heartfelt poem he'd written for Katisha, declaring how he'd make her feel valued throughout their relationship, it seemed like a done deal. Katisha told him that she wasn't going to change her mind on her choice: she wanted him, and not her other connection, Javen, and was going to tell him so immediately afterwards. Unfortunately, when we saw Katisha's face fall at being paired with Demola for a chat the next day, we could all tell she was about to make the choice no-one wanted to see. Katisha dumped Demola, and after a flirty conversation with Javen, they got engaged. Unsurprisingly, social media has been ablaze with takes on Katisha's choice, with many declaring their disappointment at her letting Demola go. 'Demola was the real one sis,' one dismayed viewer commented, while another simply wrote, 'WHY?!' Elsewhere, some have taken their reactions to more biting extremes. 'You get what you deserve Katisha,' wrote one person on X, while another declared her to be lacking in self-esteem and 'so so stupid' for her choice in fiancé. Although I was also wailing at my TV at her decision, I want us all to take a breath and extend some grace to Katisha. Though it's not the fairytale that we imagined, it was her choice to make – and whether we like it or not, we should be able to respect it. With previous stars of Love is Blind speaking out about how responses from the public have harmed their mental health, it's worth thinking twice about the messages we put out into the internet. Clearly anticipating that her actions would ruffle some feathers, Katisha posted a PSA on Instagram ahead of the series' launch asking people to be 'mindful' in their responses. 'As much as this is entertaining and it is a TV show, this is still very much our lives!' she wrote. 'It takes big balls to do something like this and I take my hats off to myself and all my cast mates for even just showing up.' And I think it's essential we consider this as we continue the season. Although it's all well and good us judging from the sofa, the Love is Blind pods is an alien environment – there's no telling how you'd react to certain stimuli until you're in that situation. Though Katisha may have said she wanted a change in type for her future, she was in a strange experiment, encouraged to seek a partner for the rest of her life in a matter of days – surely we can see why she'd be lured into something that feels familiar rather than something else she feared was too good to be true? Making a damning indictment of her intelligence and level of self-worth as a result of her choice feels hasty and unkind. Perhaps the snarkiest of our takes can reside inside a WhatsApp group chat, where they have no chance of getting back to the person they're about? Of course, as viewers, we only get a small snippet of all the contestants' moments in the pods – for all we know, Javen showed a more gentlemanly, considerate and swoonworthy side that we didn't see. And there's also that dating je ne sais quoi that anyone outside the couple simply won't understand; when Katisha and Javen met in person, they had physical chemistry that left both parties with grins from ear to ear. Rather than criticising Katisha, isn't it worth giving her the benefit of the doubt and wishing her the best? More Trending As lovely as Demola appeared, it's probably a good thing that Katisha didn't continue a relationship that her heart wasn't completely in – this way, Demola can find the person who'll fully reciprocate his enthusiasm in his own time. As the series continues, we can only wait to see whether Javen and Katisha end up being the surprise success story of the year, beating many of our expectations. Princess Andre's ITV docuseries changed my mind about her
'My ultimate goal in life is to become a successful businesswoman.' These are probably not words you expected to hear from 18-year-old Princess Andre. The daughter of Katie Price and Peter Andre, there's no denying she's well acquainted with press attention and preconceived notions about her character. However, by forging a career for herself in show business and committing to a warts-and-all reality TV series, she's forced all of those stereotypes out the window. As such, the spoiled, uninspired, idle nepo baby label the public might not have hesitated to brand her with just a few weeks ago is no more. The Princess Diaries landed on ITV last weekend, undoubtedly to a curious audience all asking the same question: What could she possibly have to say? The answer? More than you'd expect. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Comprising four parts and starring brother Junior, 20, pop star dad Peter, 52, and his wife, Emily, 35, The Princess Diaries follows the budding influencer through milestones of her teen years, from passing her driving test to walking in her first fashion show, all before officially celebrating becoming an adult. Cameras accompany Princess, who has amassed over 800,000 followers on Instagram alone, to brand meetings, photoshoots, industry events, and work trips abroad, leaving no stone unturned for those inquisitive and most likely with snobbish misconceptions about being a social media personality. Is it vapid at times? Of course. One of the very first scenes shows her squealing and panicking over her manager's dog dribbling sausage grease on her Louis Vuitton sliders, and some of the conversations with her friends feel uncomfortably forced. But do I believe the series is worthy of the 'tragic' and 'awkward' descriptors assigned to it in some reviews? No. I went into viewing the series hoping to be pleasantly surprised, and I certainly was. I was taken aback by Princess's honesty and vulnerability, not to mention her drive and passion to make a name for herself in a saturated industry that her own mum and dad have already monopolised. I didn't anticipate her speaking so openly about her childhood trauma, such as the horrifying carjacking ordeal in South Africa, which saw her, Katie, and Junior held at gunpoint by six men, with authorities saying it was a 'miracle' they survived. I didn't anticipate her candid admissions about body insecurities, having expressed her 'anxiety' about being 'exposed' in a bikini for her first runway modelling gig. I didn't anticipate her being so frank about moving on from her first heartbreak and navigating the dating scene again after ending things with her boyfriend of two years. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video I didn't anticipate talk about periods — and that all-too-familiar fear of leaking through your nicest outfit on an important day — or discussions about her regrets of not having a 'happier' upbringing. Ultimately, I expected a more manufactured, meticulously curated portrayal of Princess's life, which certainly would've been the easier route to take, given how she's learnt from two experts how to only show the media a version of yourself you want them to see. Instead, I was greeted by some rather thought-provoking viewing, particularly in the scenes where Princess reflects on her mum's personal woes and very public relationship crises. Reminiscing on Katie's split from Kieran Hayler in 2018, she said she became privy to 'things that kids should never have to see' as the former glamour model descended into turmoil, her parenting falling short as a result. Though Princess admitted she has never 'fully recovered' from the ordeal, she did reveal that her mum has 'genuinely fixed herself' and apologised to her kids about the way she behaved. It was definitely the most stand-out scene of the series, as Princess displayed true bravery by lifting the curtain on her now seemingly perfect life at home with a celebrity dad in his mansion. What's more, she gave us a moment most children of divorce can relate to, whether on the astronomical scale of Katie and Peter or not, stating how 'awkward' it would be for her parents to now be in the same room, given their disdain for one another after countless episodes of mud-slinging in the press over the years. More Trending Princess has proven that her head is firmly screwed on, and she has her sights set on her own career goals regardless of the latest drama involving her parents, who divorced in 2009 after four years of marriage. This teen has far more to her than her chaotic upbringing, and she's already doing a fine job of striking that perfect nepo baby balance of acknowledging her advantages and who gave her the leg-up, but also having independent ambitions and being willing to graft to achieve them. In conclusion, Princess Andre is far more multidimensional than cynics might assume.
