Winnipeg police identify homicide victim found injured on Cumberland Avenue
A man who died after police found him with serious upper body injuries in Winnipeg's Central Park area last week has been identified.
Ralph Moise, 39, was a member of Sayisi Dene First Nation who was living in Tadoule Lake before he died, the Winnipeg Police Service said in a news release on Monday.
Police previously said they responded to Cumberland Avenue near Central Park around 1 a.m. on Friday to investigate a report of an injured man.
Officers who found the man gave him emergency medical care before he was taken to hospital in critical condition. He was later pronounced dead.

Man, 35, fatally shot in South Chicago, child found inside vehicle, police say
