Halle Berry, 58, shows off incredible bikini body on holiday... as she channels her iconic Bond girl Jinx

Daily Mail19 hours ago
Halle Berry turned up the heat on Tuesday, sending temperatures soaring with a smoldering bikini photo from her latest escape.
The Oscar-winning actress, 58, took to Instagram to share a sun-soaked snap from Lake Powell, where she posed like a goddess in a simple white two-piece — standing on the shore as if she'd just emerged from the water.
Fans were quick to draw comparisons to her unforgettable turn as Bond girl Jinx in 2002's Die Another Day, where she famously rose from the ocean in a fiery orange bikini next to Pierce Brosnan 's 007.
More than two decades later, Halle hasn't missed a beat — flaunting the same killer curves and effortless confidence that made her an instant icon.
'Then we found this slice of heaven!' she captioned the tranquil carousel, which also included a peaceful boat ride and a hilarious video of her shouting 'I love you!' to hear her echo bounce through the canyon walls.
About a month before her stunning Lake Powell bikini moment, Halle made headlines for a cheekier reason — literally.
While vacationing in Switzerland, the actress suffered a playful bikini malfunction during a dance session to boyfriend Van Hunt's new song.
Rocking a white two-piece with tie-side bottoms and oversized square shades, Halle pranced around with carefree energy… until her bikini bottoms suddenly slipped down to her knees mid-move.
Van could be heard laughing behind the camera as Halle burst out giggling, fully embracing the wardrobe mishap.
She later shared the hilarious video on Instagram with the caption: 'When your man's music is so good you just can't help yourself!'
Back in 2021 during a conversation with Vogue, Berry discussed the iconic James Bond orange bikini, emphasizing that curating the perfect ensemble was no easy task.
'We tried on so many bathing suits,' she told the publication. 'So many bikinis and so many belts.'
'We had a knowing that it would maybe, because it was in a Bond movie, become an iconic situation… something that would live a very, very long time,' the actor added.
Berry also claimed that studios were too scared to support a James Bond spin-off based on Jinx.
Producer Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson lobbied for the character to get her own movie, although MGM were put off by an $80 million price tag, a decision Halle branded as 'disappointing' in a cover interview with Variety.
'It was ahead of its time. Nobody was ready to sink that kind of money into a black female action star. They just weren't sure of its value. That's where we were then.'
The actress shares a daughter, Nahla, 17, with ex-boyfriend Gabriel Aubry, and a son Maceo, 11, with ex-husband Olivier Martinez, to whom she was married from 2013 to 2016.
She was also previously married to former baseball pro David Justice from 1993 to 1997 and to musician Eric Benét from 2001 to 2005.

The Masked Singer's Mo Gilligan's slammed as 'deadbeat dad' by mother of secret baby

The Masked Singer star Mo Gilligan has been labelled a 'deadbeat dad' by a model who says he has rarely seen their 18-month-old son as he gets ready to welcome another baby with his current partner Mo Gilligan has reportedly secretly fathered a child - and currently has another kid on the way. The Masked Singer star is currently getting ready to welcome his first child with current partner Taia Tulher, 28. ‌ While Mo, 37, is excited for his new arrival with his model partner, the mother of his first child has slammed him as a "deadbeat dad" and claimed he doesn't see his first born. ‌ While comedian Mo never announced he had become a father, it's thought he met model Selina Christoforou, 35, online and went on to have a baby. "She found out she was pregnant in May 2023 and it was quite a shock for them both because they'd been fairly careful," a source said. ‌ READ MORE: Jeremy Vine reveals what will happen if Joey Barton fails to pay staggering legal bill Speaking to the Sun they added: "She found out she was pregnant in May 2023 and it was quite a shock for them both because they'd been fairly careful. But she wanted to have the baby, despite the fact they weren't actually a couple. ‌ "She adores their son and Mo sees him semi-regularly. Now he's about to become a dad for a second time and he's over the moon. He has been with Taia for quite a long time now and he feels ready to settle down.' However, in a TikTok post that Selina shared on Instagram has added her take - and she is less than complimentary about the TV host's involvement in their child's life. Taking to social media, she fumed: "I just finally posted on Instagram about my son's dad so for your information, if you don't follow my Instagram I don't blame you. Um, Mo Gilligan is his dad. Very much in quotation marks. She went on to claim she knows how few times the star has met his son and insists she kept thinking things will get better for her "unbelievable" son. However, she said she understands you "can't make someone be a dad" and said Mo had made it very clear he wasn't wanting to be a dad.

Real life Emmerdale couple's wedding date confirmed three years after engagement

A couple who met on the set of Emmerdale when they played on-screen siblings are set to get married next week, with Max Parker and Kris Mochrie tying the knot very soon Former Emmerdale star Max Parker has announced the date of his wedding to former co-star Kris Mochrie. Max, who began a romance with Kris after meeting on the set, has teased that their nuptials are now just days away. ‌ Kris, 40, and Max, 33, who played brothers Lee Posner and Luke Posner respectively on the ITV soap opera, have been together since 2020 after meeting behind-the-scenes. Although on-screen siblings, the two actors, who have both since left Emmerdale, didn't share any scenes together. ‌ They got engaged just over three years ago, with Max having proposed to his partner Kris in January 2022. They are now preparing to get married next week. The news comes after Corrie star Jack P. Shepherd married his fiancée in a star-studded wedding in Manchester over the weekend. ‌ Max announced yesterday that it's just a week until he married Kris. The actor shared posts on Instagram that confirmed that they are just days away from exchanging vows, three years on from the couple's engagement. Alongside a photo of them both dressed up in suits, Max wrote: "7 days and we're married." He tagged his fiancé Kris, whose tie he was adjusting in the photo, in the post that was shared with his followers on the platform this week. ‌ Max also shared a photo of them raising a toast with glasses ahead of their upcoming wedding recently. The photo, which featured a fire in the background, was accompanied by a caption that read: "1 week til we get HITCHED!" Kris concluded his post at the time by writing: "Thank you to the job that brought us together, our incredible family and friends. And the amazing love from you all. I'm a very lucky boy. The 33-year-old gave birth to her third child and first daughter, Lily, in early May and has since returned to work and public events, including an appearance alongside husband Jason at the Wimbledon Championships earlier this month. Kenny admitted that it wasn't all sunshine and roses in the lead-up to the event, struggling to find a dress that she felt comfortable in so soon after giving birth, which would also allow her to feed her daughter during the day. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad Posting to her 221k followers on Instagram, the five-time Olympic champion opened up about the mental and emotional toll being a mother to a newborn can have on you and was overwhelmed to see such an incredible response from others in a similar position. Dame Laura Kenny in her role as President of Commonwealth Games England "I find it hugely important to post about this stuff, especially from a women's point of view," she said. "We actually looked at the digital response and there were 1.5 million views and 86% were female on that post alone. "That's why it's so important, and that's why I posted it, because I want every other mum that's sitting at home to know how I was feeling. "You see a nice happy photo of us at Wimbledon, but that wasn't the backstory. The backstory was me actually quite upset, trying to find an outfit because I felt like I didn't look like me, and I'm having to put myself in the limelight, and find a dress that will let me feed my child. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad "Yes, going to Wimbledon is a choice, but it is also something that I wanted to do, and I shouldn't have to give that up." Kenny retired from her career in the velodrome in March 2024 and has since stepped into a new role as President of Commonwealth Games England. It is a role she took on at seven months pregnant and one that she has taken in stride, having already attended her first board meeting less than 12 weeks after giving birth. And even though Lily might admittedly be the easiest of her three children when it comes to sleeping, Kenny knows that returning to work so quickly is hardly the norm for most mothers. She also noted that it is something she enjoys, having always embraced chaos in the workplace. "Some people think it's a bit mental coming back so soon," she said. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad "I mean, I filmed a podcast when she was just two days old, and it didn't even occur to me that it was kind of mental. "Our line of work is a bit random, and it is a bit all over the place, and so it's always been like that. "I trained with Albie, and he just travelled the world with us so for me, I've actually never known any different and so I'm just enjoying it again. "I'm not going to say it's not difficult, but I like the mayhem and absolute carnage." Kenny's new role is quickly heating up, with today marking one year to go until the Glasgow 2026 Commonwealth Games. It is a milestone that the former track cyclist knows well from her time as an athlete, believing that it was a key moment for athletes to nail down their targets. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad "From an athlete's point of view, you can think that the Games are coming around really fast, and it can almost seem a little bit scary," she said. "But I think it feels scary, and it feels daunting because it means so much to you. I think it brings a whole host of emotion. "I always felt like a year to go was really achievable. I could set a target by that point." But from her new stead as President, Kenny admitted that she is relishing the new behind-the-scenes aspect that she has access to. From board meetings about accommodation to talking through athlete selection processes, Kenny has a whole new world of insight into what happens to make a Commonwealth Games come to life. Advertisement Hide Ad Advertisement Hide Ad And with the clock ticking down until the opening day of competition on 23 July 2026 in Glasgow, she is more than ready to get stuck in. "I'm so excited," she said. "The reason I took the role in the first place was because I felt like I wanted to give back to the athletes and because Team England have played a huge part in my career. "So, the bit that I'm obviously most excited about is actually talking to the athletes and getting involved and that will only ramp up from now."
