The pair confirmed their split, following a TMZ report on June 24 that claimed the "Lord of the Rings" star was back on the market and set to appear solo at Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez's nuptials, which
are officially underway
in Venice, Italy. The news comes after they had allegedly been
considering a big move together
last year, and
weathered critical comments
from her ex-husband.
Katy was unable to join the wedding celebrations due to her Lifetimes tour commitments. Before this revelation, there had been whispers and rumors about Orlando, 48, and Katy, 40, possibly headed for a split and experiencing a rocky period. Now, it has been confirmed that after a total of 10 years, and six engaged, the pair has truly called it quits.

A source relayed to PEOPLE that the pop icon's latest album 143, which dropped in September, "caused some tension" between them, with Katy feeling "stressed" and "deeply frustrated" by the album's lukewarm reception, reports

Speculation has been rife as Katy has been spotted without her engagement ring in several Instagram posts. Recently, a source said Orlando was planning to head to the Bezos wedding alone, anyway. "He's the life of the party and he's gonna hit the dance floor hard!" they told

Another insider added, "90% of the people at the wedding are kinda boring, but 10% are really fun, including Orlando, Leo and Jeff (Bezos). It's gonna be a great party!"
The ring, featuring a central ruby encircled by eight white diamonds in a floral design, was proudly displayed in a Valentine's Day post when she revealed Orlando's proposal.
According to The Daily Mail, she is reportedly renting out their $30 million Montecito home to actor Chris Pratt.
This isn't the first time the couple has parted ways.
They initially dated in 2016, split in 2017, reconciled in 2018, and announced their engagement in 2019, moving in together that same year.
In August 2020, they welcomed their daughter, Daisy Dove.
Prior to their relationship, Bloom was married to model Miranda Kerr, with whom he shares a son, Flynn, until 2013.. Perry was married to Russell Brand until 2012.
The duo was last seen together at the 2025 Vanity Fair Oscar Party in March 2025.
On Sunday, June 22, Orlando was seen in Australia with their four year old daughter while Katy was in town for two tour stops at the RAC Arena on June 22 and Monday, June 23.
Although not photographed together, it seems Orlando and Daisy paid Katy a visit.
