Netflix and New Era Deliver Collaborative Headwear Collection
Netflixhas teamed up withNew Erafor a series of collaborative headwear.
Offering a total of six options, the collection is led by a duo of designs fromStranger ThingsandSquid Game— two of the streamer's most popular titles. TheStranger Things59FIFTYcap arrives as an all-black offering with root-like embroidery and logos on the front and side, while its black 9FORTY A-Frame edition sees a red, cursive New Era logo flipped over to represent The Upside Down.
TheSquid Gameiterations feature the same headwear silhouettes. Its 59FIFTY model is a colorful offerings with embroidery that highlight iconic moments from the South Korean series. The 9FORTY is more simple, with a white and pink embroidery of theSquid Gamelogo in Hangul.
Meanwhile, two Neflix-centric options arrive as 9TWENTY and 9FORTY A-Frame Tracker caps. The 9TWENTY highlights the classic Netflix logo in its signature red colorway, while its 9FORTY counterpart is built with black mesh and the 'N' embroidery on the side, a white front panel with the red Netflix insignia and a red visor.

The trailer released Monday shows Morpheus (Tom Sturridge) facing the consequences of "spilling family blood" and contemplating how he will protect the Dreaming from his enemies. Season 2 begins weeks after the events of Season 1, as Dream attempts to restore his palace and forget the past, according to an official synopsis. "This season is about Dream's having to accept responsibility for his arrogance, for his ignorance, and for his feelings -- which he doesn't even admit to having," says showrunner and writer Allan Heinberg. "But sooner or later, we all have to reckon with the fact that the struggles we face are often of our own making. Dream must now figure out what to do about it." Book Review: Ruth Ware revisits old characters in new thriller, 'The Woman in Suite 11'
Ruth Ware's new thriller 'The Woman in Suite 11' is a sequel of sorts to her breakout hit of 2016, 'The Woman in Cabin 10.' Will you enjoy it more if you read the first book? Yes. Or you can wait until the Netflix version of 'The Woman in Cabin 10' starring Keira Knightley comes out this fall, and then read 'The Woman in Suite 11.' Most of the main characters who survived the first book return, led by Lo Blacklock, a decade older and raising a pair of sons in Brooklyn. She's now happily married to Judah and she wrote a book called 'Dark Waters' about her ordeal aboard the cruise ship Aurora (the plot of 'Cabin 10'). She knows motherhood won't last forever, and so when she's presented with the opportunity to rekindle her travel writing career by visiting a luxury hotel in Geneva, she jumps at the chance. The hotel is owned by a reclusive European billionaire named Marcus Leidmann, and once Lo convinces the Financial Times she can deliver a profile, it's off to Switzerland, where Ware throws the thriller switch and readers are taken on a ride across the European continent, eventually ending up in England for the story's climax. Lo's voice is the best part of the book. She's a mom now, so her sarcasm is tempered a little by maternal compassion, but she still reads like she'd be a great hang. Here she is looking out the window of a car as it drives through the countryside: 'The villages were almost absurdly cute, in that Swiss cuckoo-clock style of ornate wooden fretwork and sparkling paint… I half expected a nun to come running out from the trees and break into song.' It's difficult to write much more about the plot without spoiling it, but Ware stays inside Lo's head throughout, as she analyzes the intent of everyone's actions and weighs her options. The tension builds steadily as she encounters various characters from the first book and begins to piece together what is happening. The story is peppered with multiple references and echoes back to 'The Woman in Cabin 10,' another reason to read or watch it first before cracking open this new novel. Once you do, you'll settle into the rhythm of a Ware thriller. Many chapters end with snippets from websites or other sources that tease forward the plot, practically forcing you to turn the page and learn how it all happened. ___ AP book reviews:

Just when we were all still reeling from the ending of Squid Game, the series decided to throw us one final curveball in the show's final moments. Now in California, the Front Man, AKA Hwang In-ho, notices two people playing ddakji in an alleyway. But when the camera turns around, we see that it's none other than Cate Blanchett! With a huge starlet making a rare appearance in the show, it must mean that something big is happening, right? Well, there's been some hints about what's to come next in the future of Squid Game including a US spin-off. So what can we expect? Here's everything you need to know about Squid Game's US spin-off. Back in October 2024, Deadline reported that a brand-new spin-off was being developed on the streamer with David Fincher at the helm of the project. Things have been pretty quiet since then and fans have been wondering if it was still in the works. Hwang Dong-hyuk spoke with Variety and said that Cate Blanchett's cameo is actually not a a direct link to the project. "Actually no, not at all. It's not related to that. All I wanted to have was just an impactful ending, and that's all that was to it. Honestly, I haven't heard officially from Netflix about David Fincher creating a Squid Game," he said. "I have heard the rumors of course though. But again, it was just the ending that I wanted for Season 3." Well, there's still another season of Squid Game: The Challenge to look forward to, so there's definitely more to come from the Squid Game universe. But in terms of direct spin-offs, Hwang Dong-hyuk says that he's open to what comes next. "I'm not trying to say that I'm going to close the door to spinoffs or sequels altogether because they say never say never," he told Entertainment Weekly. He also noted that he already has an idea for a spin-off, but it's definitely not what fans might have in mind. "I actually had this faint ideation about possibly a spinoff — not a sequel, but maybe a spinoff about the three-year gap between season 1 and season 2 when Gi-hun looks around for the recruiters," Hwang said. "There is that three-year period, and maybe I could have a portrayal of what the recruiters or Captain Park or officers or masked men were doing in that period, not inside the gaming arena, but their life outside of that. So that is some vague ideation that I have that could possibly be developed in the future." Will it actually come true? We'll have to wait and see! Until then, we have to hope the rumors of a US spin-off are true so we can see just what kind of recruiter Cate Blanchett really is like. Squid Game season 1-3 is available to stream on Netflix.
