Your Daily Couples Horoscope for June 29, 2025

Yahoo29-06-2025
Communication is key in any relationship, but sometimes things fall through the cracks. Our daily couple horoscope can help you find what's been lost and maintain that spark!
You need to take things seriously today, even if they don't seem any different (or more important) than they did the day before. It's a good time to sit down with your partner and really listen.
You're focusing more on your entire social scene than on your partner in particular, and while that may cause a wee bit of friction, you both know it's for the best right now.
You and your partner might have a problem with communication today, so see if the two of you can sit down and spell out exactly what you mean. It may take a while, but it will be worth it.
Use your energy to focus on your partner's needs today. They're going to be much more intense than usual, and you ought to be able to take care of them with minimal effort.
Your small-scale creative efforts are going to surprise and delight your partner today, so don't be shy about sharing even your tiniest notions. It's a good day for quiet times together. Looking for a better romance? Find the empowerment you need with our Karma Love Report. 💞
You need to let go of a few assumptions soon because the situation is extraordinarily mutable right now. That doesn't mean bad things are happening, just that things have to change.
You're not usually one to stick to the same routine every day, but even you might have a hard time dealing with the nonstop disruptions today. Ask your partner for some extra patience.
You're in the best possible mood to snuggle up with your partner and spend the day romancing each other. You'll read their needs and respond kindly and should get something good in return.
Everyone brings their past to their relationships, and you might want to spend some time today talking that over with your partner. You're sure to learn something you didn't know before.
You ought to be able to read your partner with greater ease today, so don't be too surprised if things are suddenly a lot clearer to you. They may need a shoulder to cry on.
It's not the best time for long, intense talks, as you will find yourself sidetracked more often than not, and your partner might get frustrated. You should be back where you need to be in a day or two.
Your help is all your partner needs to finish something up, though they may not know how to ask. Step up and show them what you can do. They'll be amazed and grateful. Feeling lost with your career? Guidance is one click away!

Bruce Slovin, Who Unified Jewish Archives in New York, Dies at 89

Bruce Slovin, a corporate executive who united five organizations devoted to various aspects of the Jewish experience to create the Center for Jewish History in Manhattan, died on Aug. 10 in Poughkeepsie, N.Y., near his weekend home in Rhinebeck. He was 89. His death, in a hospital, was caused by an aortic dissection, said Tracy Schmidt, his executive assistant at 1 Eleven Associates, the private investment and real estate firm where he served as president. When the center opened in 2000, it offered scholars, researchers and others curious about Jewish history a single place to delve into a massive repository of documents, photographs, books, artworks, film and artifacts from the YIVO Institute for Jewish Research, the American Jewish Historical Society, the Leo Baeck Institute, the Yeshiva University Museum and the American Sephardi Federation. 'I'm just smart enough to understand the need to have a history,' Mr. Slovin told the New York Jewish Week newspaper in 2011. 'As a people as valuable to humankind as the Jewish people are, it seemed dead wrong not to have as much of history as we can save — and we have tons more work to do.' The organizations' collections include the handwritten original of Emma Lazarus's poem, 'The New Colossus,' which is engraved on a plaque inside the pedestal of the Statue of Liberty; the first Hebrew prayer books in America; correspondence signed by Jewish luminaries such as Einstein, Kafka, Freud and Sholem Aleichem; and a letter from Thomas Jefferson to the oldest Jewish congregation in New York. Mr. Slovin was introduced to the world of Jewish archives in the mid-1980s when he attended a board meeting at YIVO. The men there reminded him of his father and grandfather, who had recently died. 'They would drink schnapps after they had the board meeting,' he said in 2011. 'They were great storytellers. My father and grandfather were alive again.' Want all of The Times? Subscribe.

Part of Delta Air Lines 737's wing breaks off during flight

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating after a flap on a Boeing 737's wing partially broke off before landing in Texas on Tuesday. Delta Air Lines Flight 1893 was flying from Orlando International to Austin-Bergstrom International Airport when passengers noticed something had partially broken away from the back of the wing. 'We felt it was bad turbulence. The plane was shaking,' passenger Shanila Arif told CNN. 'The lady in front of us opened the window and told us it is broken. I opened the window and got scared.' Video recorded by Arif showed the flap dangling behind the wing, as the plane flew at hundreds of miles an hour thousands of feet in the air. She worried if the piece completely broke off it could hit the tail of the aircraft and cause a crash. After landing 'it was observed that a portion of the left wing's flap was not in place,' Delta Air Lines said in a statement. 'The aircraft has been taken out of service for maintenance.' Flaps are surfaces on the back of the wing designed to be extended for takeoff and landing. 'We apologize to our customers for their experience as nothing is more important than the safety of our people and customers,' the airline said. There were 62 passengers and six crew members onboard the plane. No one was injured. Delta pledged to fully cooperate with the FAA investigation.

New video shows scary moment JetBlue flight slid off runway at Logan Airport

Officials released new video of a scary scene at Logan Airport in June when a JetBlue flight skidded off the runway. On June 12, JetBlue flight 312 coming from Chicago rolled into a grassy area off runway 330L as it came in for landing. Video shows smoke coming from the wheels of the Airbus A220 as it swerves left. Massport says there were no reports of any injuries. The skid caused an hourslong ground delay as passengers on the plane were bussed off the runway. The FAA and JetBlue are both investigating what happened. Download the FREE Boston 25 News app for breaking news alerts.
