Hell's Kitchen Ibiza opened its doors on June 9th.
Europe's very first Hell's Kitchen opened its doors this month, just in time to kick off a new season in Ibiza. This marks the very first foray into Spain for celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay and his restaurant group.
Located in the heart of Playa d'en Bossa, the beautifully designed restaurant is just steps away from the sea and fits perfectly as the newest dining establishment in the wildly popular party destination.

'Ibiza was a clear choice for our first European opening,' says Andy Wenlock, CEO of Gordon Ramsay Restaurants. 'The island is famous for combining a thriving hospitality sector with an unmatched energy and international audience, making it an ideal environment to introduce the Hell's Kitchen experience to Europe.'
Located inside the newly rebranded The Unexpected Ibiza Hotel (formerly The Ushuaïa Tower), it's the property's sixth restaurant and is projected to quickly become its most coveted. 'Partnering with Palladium Hotel Group has allowed us to deliver an experience that stays true to the Hell's Kitchen brand while thoughtfully reflecting the character and spirit of Ibiza, and our partners,' says Wenlock.
Aimed to be more than just your typical restaurant, Hell's Kitchen Ibiza promises high-energy and entertainment that matches the property's vibe. With it being located adjacent to the iconic Ushuaïa day club, dining here is meant to be lively and will invoke those expected Ibiza party moments.
'I'm so excited to be bringing Hell's Kitchen to the electrifying island of Ibiza this summer,' says Ramsay. 'This place has it all — explosive energy, legendary nightlife, and a food scene that's absolutely world-class. Hell's Kitchen Ibiza will feature the core elements that define the Hell's Kitchen brand: high impact dining, bold design, and dynamic service, but will then layer in a plenty of uniquely local character. 'From exclusive dishes and cocktails that reflect Ibizan culture, to a seamless connection between dinner and nightlife, this exciting new site reimagines what the Hell's Kitchen experience can be in an exciting European luxury environment,' explains Wenlock.

The menu at Hell's Kitchen Ibiza is rooted in the flavors of the island of Ibiza and surrounding Spanish influences. 'Our expert culinary team has drawn inspiration from Ibiza's rich local ingredients, Mediterranean heritage, and food culture to create a selection of exclusive dishes unique to this location,' says Wenlock. 'While guests may notice global influences in some of the flavors, including subtle spice profiles, the focus remains on capturing the spirit and essence of Ibiza through every plate.'
New to the menu items include hell-fired scallops, Basque-style cheesecake, and whole grilled branzino. Of course, you'll still find the classics like Ramsay's iconic beef Wellington, pan-seared scallops, and ultra creamy lobster risotto, and sticky-toffee pudding on the menu. Guests can marvel at the dishes being prepared in the expansive open kitchen that acts as a focal point for most of the dining room's tables.
The bar at Hell's Kitchen Ibiza is not only stunning and perfectly backlit, but it's an ideal spot for after-dinner drinks or to pregame before a wild night out around the island. The cocktail menu features bestselling cocktails from Hell's Kitchen's global outposts, including the bright and refreshing Eighteen Stars made with tequila, cointreau, yellow pepper, passion fruit, and lime.

Additionally, there's also a selection of exclusive-to-Ibiza cocktails including the The Thyme Traveller made with hierbas ibicencas (the island's signature anise-flavored spirit) giving it a distinct herbaceous flavor.
While this is the first Hell's Kitchen in Europe and the brand's first restaurant in Spain, it certainly doesn't seem like it will be the last. 'Ibiza marks an exciting chapter for us, and naturally, we're keeping an eye on where the brand could go next,' says Wenlock. 'Europe presents a number of compelling opportunities, but for now, our focus is on delivering an exceptional experience in Ibiza and listening closely to our guests.'

Hers is a direct critique of the banalities of global capitalism and its entanglement with labor and production, told through a body of work that is at once familiar yet strange, moving between the real and the fictional to fascinating and powerful effect. In her first Spanish solo outing, at Hauser & Wirth Menorca, the Argentinian-born New Yorker pairs the much celebrated video installations 'Cosmic Generator' (2017) and 'Spaghetti Blockchain' (2019) with the latest 'Lampshares' series (2024/25), accompanied by drawings that stitch together the many loose ends of her thinking. The gallery's setting, marooned on the tiny island of Illa del Rei reached by boat from the Mahón harbor, feels cut off from reality, and is an ideal stage for her looped, surreal narratives. These are fantastical pieces, oddly human-like lamps that glow, literally, with toxic beauty. They are also a direct hit at the lack of environmental effort, in this case from the powers that be in New York public housing. Rottenberg collaborated with New York's Inner City Green Team and craftsman Gary Dusek to use bittersweet vines—an invasive species choking her upstate farm and the surrounding forests—and fuse them with melted, reclaimed-plastic 'urban gemstones,' as she coins them. Having realized that the local public-housing complex lacked a recycling system, Rottenberg's team worked with residents to sort their garbage, mining everyday waste (laundry-detergent bottles, milk jugs, water containers) for color. 'My daughter and her friends helped with the plastic recycling for the prototypes, at the beginning, but soon I realized we needed a lot of garbage.' 'Lampshares' is accompanied by a series of drawings of loop fingerprints, disembodied limbs and sensuous tendrils, all of which are long-standing motifs in her work that nod to female labor and non-normative bodies. They look whimsical at first glance but up close these images, 'made with a lot of mess and with fingerprints,' as she explains, expose the imperfections in our world that fuel Rottenberg's wider critique. 'For me it's not only about the environment, but the people, the labor. The thing that really excites me is the idea of green employment in New York City. The title refers to the action. When you buy one, you're buying a share of this project. And it all gets fed back into buying more plastic.' The process, she admits, is 'laborious, because they are modular parts,' but once those parts exist 'then it can be super creative, almost like a painting.' Saying that, Rottenberg is under no illusion that her project will fix New York's recycling dilemma—the studio-collective has processed three tons in almost two years— yet the gesture points toward an economy where trash gains renewed value instead of ending up in landfill. In 'Cosmic Generator' we see tunnels from a Chinese plastic-goods market to the Mexico–California border, then ruptures into candy-colored back-lots where goods and people disappear through hidden portals. Filmed on location, her documentary style slips into magical realism, reminding us that global supply chains remain largely out of sight. Elsewhere in 'Spaghetti Blockchain' ASMR bubble-popping meets Siberian throat singing, CERN's antimatter lab, a potato harvester grinding across a field. The title references blockchain technology, a system where data is continuously transferred and validated across a network of computers, free from central ownership, regulations or control. In a similar vein, Rottenberg layers image and sound into a constantly shifting stream of associations—a mesh of disparate sources that loop without resolution, as she probes the mechanics of production, commerce and power. She explains, 'I am interested in these human-made systems where the starting point is to have no clue what is really going on and to try to impose a certain logic on things, and the madness of that.' On an island already removed from the mainland, her biomorphic, viscerally alive objects and disjointed films sharpen our sense that the world we inhabit—the one we consume daily—may be governed by rules we're only partially allowed to see. It has been over two years since Barcelona left the Spotify Camp Nou, but their return to the iconic stadium is now closer than ever, with the club having confirmed the date for their first match back home. Renovation work on the stadium started back in June 2023, and while Barcelona had hoped to return in November 2024, it was not possible. This was also the case for planned return dates in February and May of this year, but on those occasion, there was no official confirmation of the schedule return to the Spotify Camp Nou. On Wednesday, Barcelona published a video on social media in which it was confirmed that they will play their first match back at the Spotify Camp Nou on the 10th of August. Advertisement It had initially been expected that Barcelona would return in September after missing previous deadlines, but earlier this week, plans were put in place for a return for the Joan Gamper Trophy on the 10th of August. And given their post, it appears that these plans has been, or will be, approved. The match would have seen a significantly-reduced capacity in normal circumstances, but given the significance, it is likely to be a sell-out. Advertisement But it will not be a complete sell-out, given that the Spotify Camp Nou will not be able to run at full capacity until all renovation work is complete – and this is not expected to happen until 2026 at the earliest. Barcelona have been eagerly awaiting the day that they can return home to the Spotify Camp Nou, and it is now less than two months away.
