David Beckham takes his mind off family feud as he leads Nespresso launch in London - after son Brooklyn failed to attend his 50th birthday events
He's had a dramatic week celebrating his 50th birthday, which saw numerous lavish events and a family feud erupt over the absence of his son Brooklyn from all of them.
But David Beckham got back to work on Thursday as he opened Nespresso's new flagship boutique in London with some celebrity pals.
The former footballer donned a smart navy suit with thin blue pinstripes, adding a black t-shirt to his slick look.
He accessorised with a dark brown belt and sported some tan trainers with a white sole.
The event was held at the coffee brand's new location in Covent Garden and David was joined by a host of celebrities and internet personalities.
It comes after the former England captain shared a sweet tribute to his wife Victoria for 'always making him laugh' as he shared even more snaps from his star-studded birthday bash.
The footballer celebrated the occasion with a glitzy party at London's Core restaurant in Notting Hill, with A-List pals Tom Cruise, Eva Longoria and Guy Ritchie among those in attendance.
Taking to Instagram to share a gallery of black and white images, David couldn't contain his smile as wife Victoria gave an incredible speech.
Sharing the same snap to his Story, David gushed over the fashion mogul, 51, he penned: 'Thank you for always laughing with me and at me'.
Meanwhile in the sweet snap, daughter Harper, 13, joined the couple at the top of the table and was seen beaming as her mum spoke.
During the night Harper also stood up to share some 'special words' about David while youngest son Cruz, 20, performed a 'special surprise' song on his guitar.
Second oldest son Romeo, 22, cut a dapper figure in a tuxedo as he carried over David's favourite lemon drizzle cake, which was covered in candles.
It was exclusively reported over the weekend that David and Victoria's oldest son Brooklyn and his wife Nicola Peltz, 30, failed to attend any of his dads birthday events, with the reason behind their fallout revealed here by Mail+.
Brooklyn missed out on David's early celebrations in Miami last month as well as parties in the Cotswolds, France, London and a boys fishing trip in Scotland last week.
Victoria also shared a number of the snaps from the bash including a stunning one with daughter Harper and another with longtime best pal Eva.
She penned: 'So wonderful to round off an amazing week celebrating @davidbeckham at 50 with incredible friends.
'Still laughing and dancing after all these years!! We love you all so much xxxx'
But as the party continued at the restaurant into the early hours, neighbours complained leading to a visit from two council officers at 3:35am.
An onlooker told The Sun: 'David's party really went off and the longer time went on, the louder the music seemed to get.
'Some neighbours weren't very happy when it was still so loud at 2am and leaned out windows to see where the racket was from.'
Kensington and Chelsea Council told MailOnline that advice was given to minimise disruption and onlookers revealed that the music stopped immediately.
The footballer celebrated the occasion with a glitzy party at London's Core restaurant in Notting Hill, with A-List pals Tom Cruise (pictured), Eva Longoria and Guy Ritchie among those in attendance
They said: 'We have a very responsive and professional team who investigate noise complaints and take action where necessary.
'Usually, and in this case, that means issuing some advice at a location, so disruption is kept to a minimum for residents living nearby.'
Representatives for the Beckhams have been contacted by MailOnline for comment.
Another celebration saw David enjoy a 'boys' fishing trip with sons Romeo and Cruz but Brooklyn had declined the invitation by his father.
The Mail can reveal that David invited his eldest son on short break six months ago when he began planning, yet the 26-year-old failed to go despite arriving in the UK the day they went.
Sources suggest that Brooklyn's decision was influenced by his wife Nicola Peltz.
'Brooklyn was asked to join them ages ago,' said one.
'Then he came to London in time but he didn't go. Once again David made the best of things and had a great time with Cruz and Romeo.'
Meanwhile, claims that Brooklyn and Nicola were rebuffed when they asked David and Victoria to celebrate David's birthday privately but were said to be untrue.
Sources close to Nicola, 30, told US website TMZ that they wanted 'to get together privately' to avoid Romeo's girlfriend Kim Turnbull as the couple are said to 'have a problem' with her.
However, Kim didn't attend the family party in the Cotswolds last Wednesday Brooklyn and Nicola could have gone to that and avoided her.
Despite the snub, David still offered an olive branch to his son as he shared snaps from the trip, as he captioned one of his posts: 'You were missed @brooklynbeckham.'

Brazilian Piper Pipe Band is coming to Edinburgh this summer
In August the Brazilian Piper Pipe Band, a group of young men from the tough suburb of Rio de Janeiro, São Goncalo, will set off on a life- changing adventure to one of the official events celebrating the 200th UK-Brazil anniversary here in the capital. Their journey will take them to Lisbon and London, and the Edinburgh Festival where they will play at the Ross Bandstand. The Brazilian Piper Pipe Band was founded in 1999 by Pipe Major José Paulo Pereira as a social project using the discipline of a pipe band to train underprivileged teenagers from a violent area of Rio De Janeiro dominated by drug traffic to become responsible citizens. They have performed their rich repertoire of traditional Scottish pipe tunes, theme music from famous TV series and Brazilian popular music all over South America – including a foot-tapping samba finale always guaranteeing a standing ovation. Their 'Daily Ceilidh' show will be a prime example of the peaceful fusion of culture between Brazil and the UK and will run from 12 to 19 August 2025 between 15.30 and 17.30. Every afternoon the band will gather at the Ross Fountain in West Princes Street Gardens. At 15.30, there will be a parade behind the Brazilian Piper Pipe Band 200 metres from the fountain to the Ross Bandstand entrance. A Grand March into the area for dancing in front of the stage, where the Iain MacPhail Ceilidh band will start off each ' Daily Ceilidh' show with the 'Gay Gordons' dance. The show will continue by inviting the audience to join in easy ceilidh dances led by the Iain MacPhail Pipe Band and RSCDS dancers, interspersed with presentations by the Brazilian Piper Pipe Band and Batucada Brasil Percussion Group. The show will end with general samba dancing for all to the Brazilian Piper Pipe Band, Batucada Brasil Percussion and the Iain MacPhail Ceilidh Band, followed by Auld Lang Syne. The show will include the Iain MacPhail Ceilidh Band. For over thirty years Iain MacPhail provided the music for Caledonian Balls in South America and the Ghillies' Ball for the Royal family at Balmoral Castle. It will also include dancers from the Royal Scottish County Dance Society (RSCDS) and a carnival group from Edinburgh's Brazilian community with the Batucada Brasil percussion band. Capt James H Frew said: 'I'm a native of Edinburgh, and have been 42 years in Brazil. I'm a retired Merchant Navy captain with a marine surveying business. I've been working on this project since March 2024 – and we'll be staying in Port Seton Holiday village caravans, using the 26 bus to get to Princes Street Gardens every day for the show. 'The Brazilian Piper Pipe Band social project is supported by the British consulate in Rio de Janeiro and the Consulate General of Brazil in Edinburgh. The band raised their own travelling expenses from presentations at shipping malls, local community events and the Rio passenger cruise ship terminal.' During their run they will play along with the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society (RSCDS) dancers and Batucada Brasil Percussion Group. Edinburgh's Brazilian community is organising a BBQ for them. On 11 August the band will be one of 17 international pipe bands which has been invited by the National Piping Centre, Glasgow, to participate in the annual 'Piping Live' parade to demonstrate the versatility of the Great Highland Bagpipe. On 17 August the band will be received by the Consulate General of Brazil in Edinburgh and on 25 August they will return home. Like this: Like Related

‘This niche fragrance gets me more compliments than any other - and it's £25!'
Metro journalists select and curate the products that feature on our site. If you make a purchase via links on this page we will earn commission – learn more As a beauty journalist, I've tried more perfumes than I care to admit. My shelves are stacked with plenty of bottles from big-name designer scents to buzzy celeb launches and yet, this little-known niche perfume is the one I keep coming back to. But after years of spritzing and sniffing, I'd finally found a fragrance that stands out and funnily enough, almost no one's heard of it – which is, what I think, makes it so special. From Diem, a London-based fragrance house that's changed how we shop for scent by offering gender-neutral, sustainable scents in small batches and 10ml bottles, comes Love Tangle Eau de Parfum. This surprising fragrance is described by Diem as a scent for the wild at heart. It smells like fragrant honeysuckle and roses winding through overgrown countryside hedgerows, like blackcurrants ripening in the sun, and its warm, musky base really clings to your skin. It starts off bright and juicy, but dries down into something warmer and more grounded. It's the kind of scent that people will ask about – trust me. Featuring notes of cassis, peony, musk and sandalwood make Diem's Love Tangle Eau de Parfum a fruity, feminine scent that lingers on the skin for hours. It's a fresh, youthful scent but sophisticated at the same time. BUY NOW FOR £25 After spritzing it on pulse points and setting foot outside, someone actually stopped me in the street to ask what fragrance I was wearing and, if you're based in London, you'll know this to be a very rare event! If you're thinking that niche fragrance brands don't have a lot to offer in comparison to the likes of say, Dior or YSL, you'd be sadly mistaken. Diem is quietly gaining fans among fragrance lovers and beauty editors alike. As a British fragrance house, it's all about telling stories and conveying emotion through scent. Who hasn't had a memory evoked by a certain fragrance before? More Trending What's so great is that shoppers can purchase the brand's smaller 10ml bottles so you're never wasting product or tossing out a half-used, gone-off bottle. The brand's heart is in sustainability too. Ingredients are all sourced from ethical, environmentally-conscious suppliers, and they've cut back on excess packaging wherever possible. Scent is such a personal thing but, (maybe this is just me) I'm finding more often than not, we're all wearing the same ones. Baccarat Rouge 540, Santal 33, and Black Opium, are all gorgeous and smell amazing, but they just don't feel unique anymore. That's why I'm going to stick to my Diem Love Tangle Eau de Parfum vehemently, and continue to share my love for niche fragrance houses and their incredible scents.
