While kids may still be enjoying summer fun, it's always good to be prepared in advanced - and if you're keen to save some cash, it's worth taking a trip to the local Sainsbury's.
According to bargain-mad Brits, the mega supermarket is now flogging cut-price school shoes - and there are huge savings to be made.
Informing fellow parents about the deal, one shopper, Kelly Gillingham, took to Facebook to share the news.
Posting on the popular Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK group, the thrifty customer said: ''Sainsburys 70% off school shoes.''
In the post, Kelly also showed off her epic haul, which included black trainers with a star design, originally going for £16 and now slashed by 70%.
The mega haul also included a pair of black trainers, retailing for £14 before the reductions, as well as more smart shoes, £20 before the sale.
Whilst shopping at the local store, Kelly also snapped up a pair of black shoes with a strap and teeny diamantes - £18 before the epic sale.
Sharing the news to the other 2.6million members of the page, the bargain hunter said: ''Not sure if it's in all of them this was Waterlooville.''
If you're keen to get a pair before September, you'll have to head to buy them in store - as the deal doesn't appear to be available online.
The post, uploaded less than 24 hours ago, has already taken the internet by storm, winning Kelly more than 220 likes.
School banned my daughter, 12, from 'diversity day' for wearing Union Jack dress - the reason was ridiculous
Over 210 people flooded to comments where they tagged their friends and family to inform them about the fabulous deal.
One told their pal: ''Fancy a trip tomorrow?''
A second chimed in: ''I need to go.''

It is not clear if multiple Asda branches are offering discounts on outdoor and gardening products. However, it is common practice for retailers to slash prices towards the end of the season to clear remaining stock. If you are heading online to pick up some outdoor bargains, make sure you factor in any added costs like delivery fees. The click and collect option is available on some of the sale products while you can order via home delivery on most as well. Standard delivery will set you back around £6.75, next day delivery £8.50 and named day delivery £8.50 as well. OTHER ASDA NEWS Asda was recently slapped with a £640,000 fine for selling out-of-date food at two stores in the UK. Up to 115 expired food items were found at branches in Leckwith and Pentwyn as the retailer faced four charges of selling out-of-date food. The grocer also sparked controversy earlier this year after rolling out facial recognition technology. Donald Trump pressed on Scottish independence as he meets Keir Starmer for crunch talks at luxury Turnberry resort
The Prime Minister visited US President at the Ayrshire golf resort before the pair travel north to his Menie course in Aberdeenshire DON TO BUSINESS Donald Trump pressed on Scottish independence as he meets Keir Starmer for crunch talks at luxury Turnberry resort Click to share on X/Twitter (Opens in new window) Click to share on Facebook (Opens in new window) DONALD Trump has been pressed on his views on Scottish independence after holding crunch trade talks with Sir Keir Starmer. The Prime Minister and his wife, Victoria, were greeted by the US leader on the steps of the luxury golf resort in Ayrshire earlier today. Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 3 Donald Trump greeted Sir Keir Starmer and his wife Victoria Credit: Getty 3 Trump waves to the press as he tees off on Sunday for his second round at Turnberry Credit: Reuters 3 The President is being protected by a huge security operation Credit: Getty Sir Keir and Trump discussed the prospect of reviving ceasefire talks between Israel and Hamas amid the humanitarian crisis engulfing Gaza. The PM was also likely to discuss the future of tariffs on British steel. Sir Keir and Mr Trump have built a rapport on the world stage, despite their differing political backgrounds. The Republican leader previously praised the PM for doing a "very good job" so far in government. And, when quizzed on Scottish independence, he said he didn't want to "get involved" in British domestic politics. He's due to meet First Minister John Swinney later today - and added "I hear very good things about him, and I'm meeting him today, so maybe I'll have a better opinion." After the meeting at Turnberry on the Ayrshire coast, Starmer and Trump will travel north to Trump's Menie course in Aberdeenshire for further discussions. On Sunday, Trump teed off on his second round in Turnberry after landing on Air Force One on Friday night, accompanied by a massive security team. Public protests at the course - surrounded by a ring of steel - were limited, while larger demonstrations were held in Aberdeen and Edinburgh on Saturday. Mr Swinney has said he will use a planned meeting with Trump to urge the US President to apply pressure on Israel to allow more humanitarian aid into Gaza. Furious Trump says he'll CUT Putin's 50-day peace deadline and says he's 'disappointed' after latest ruthless Kyiv blitz Speaking ahead of discussions, which are expected to take place in Aberdeenshire, Mr Swinney told BBC Breakfast: "President Trump obviously is very welcome in Scotland. "He brings with him a huge amount of media attention to Scotland, and obviously there's been significant international events have been handled as a consequence of his visit here in Scotland, particularly the trade talks with the European Union. "So what I want to pursue with President Trump is obviously the issues that are of concern to the people of Scotland."
