My Brain Literally Cannot Process These 15 Absolutely Baffling Photos

Yahooa day ago
Hello again, and welcome to our roundup of the most confusing photos we found on Reddit this week. Check out last week's if you missed it — and let's get right into it!
1.The person who took this picture admits they have no clue what it is. Can you explain?
Some people on Reddit say it is spray insulation on a ceiling, and some people think it is a carpeted ceiling. Others say it is something from an art gallery. What do you think?
Related:
2.What kind of animal is this?
A Turkish Angora cat that looks like a dog!
3.Can you explain what is going on in this photo?
It is two different people! The person taking the selfie has a black apron on, but under the mirror, there is a cutout area, and you can see the legs of the other person, who is wearing a brown apron on the other side.
4.This picture is not photoshopped. What happened?
Exactly what you think, but don't want to believe! A tree fell and you were seeing the end of it.
Related:
5.Is this a river or something else?
There is actually a lorry on the right side of the truck (a lorry is a large truck used to transport goods). The river is to the left of the tree.
6.Um, who approved this trash can box design?
What looks phallic is actually just a cutout of where you put your hand in to pick up the box. Not the best spot, though!
7.What are these two people looking at?
It is a lake that is reflecting the sky.
Related:
8.These people are actually the same height. How can this be so?
If you look at the right hip of the person on the right, you can see they are far behind the person on the left. The fannypack in the person on the left's lap conceals this but you can see the edge of their left hip.
9.And what about these two people? Does one have a stump for the lower half?
No, no. The person in the back is sitting on the stump and the person in the light jeans is on their lap.
10.Who is grabbing this woman's thigh?
Thankfully, it is the lady herself. She is holding her hand in a weird way, with her pinky at the top (it is her left hand).
11.Is this really eight people swimming in tubes???
It is actually planktonic tunicate — sea animals that typically attach themselves to docks, rocks, or the underside of boats.
12.10 points if you can guess what this is...
Related:
A flamingo floatie!!!
13.Is this a celestial being in the sky?
Unfortunately, it is just a cricket.
14.Did these humingbirds get stuck in this feeder?
Nope! The birds are in front of the glass!
15.And, lastly, are these bridesmaids really nude?!
Come on, you know they're just wearing strapless dresses!
Do you have a really, really, REALLY confusing photo that you think we need to see?! Add it in the comments below, and you could be featured in our next weekly roundup of stumping people!

‘Wizard of Oz' blown up by AI for giant Sphere screen

The massive Las Vegas venue known as Sphere will be screening its first classic movie, 'The Wizard of Oz,' starting on August 28. And as detailed in a segment on CBS Sunday Morning, this isn't just a matter of taking the existing movie and projecting it on Sphere's 160,000 square foot, wraparound LED screen. Instead, Sphere Entertainment CEO James Dolan said a 2,000-person team is creating a new experience. That includes using AI to both increase the resolution of the existing film and expand the footage beyond the frame of what was actually shot. For example, Turner Classic Movie presenter Ben Mankiewicz said that through the use of AI, 'a grainy close-up of Dorothy becomes richly detailed, and then through a process called outpainting — though it seems like magic — we see the rest of the Scarecrow, the Yellow Brick Road, and the mountains of Oz.' In other cases, expanding the frame means creating new performances from the existing actors. Despite these changes, Dolan said, 'Our standard on this was not to modify the film at all but to try and bring you into the film, as if you were in the studio when it was shot.'
