
G22 slays live performance of 'Golden' from 'KPop Demon Hunters'
The three-member P-pop girl group performed "Golden" from the Netflix film "KPop Demon Hunters" during the Acer Day 2025 on Saturday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
AJ, Alfea, and Jaz channeled their inner Rumi, Mira, and Zoey as they sang a mashup of the English and Tagalog versions of "Golden."
G22 debuted in 2022. Known as the female Alphas of P-pop, their recent songs include "Pa-Pa-Pa-Palaban" and "Filipina Queen."
"KPop Demon Hunters" is Netflix's most-watched original animated film. It follows K-pop superstars who have secret identities as demon hunters determined to protect their fans from supernatural danger.

Glaiza De Castro was a badass Pirena on Friday's episode of "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre," fighting off Governor Emil's goons to save Terra. On Instagram, the actress shared a behind-the-scenes clip showing her performing stunts with the help of a coach. "Ang daming memories talaga ang nag fa-flashback 'pag ako rin mismo nanonood," she said. "Isang trivia pala, itong pag backflip na naka harness ay first time kong ginawa sa buong buhay ko, kaya nahilo hilo ang ashti n'yo," she added. She thanked the stunts team for their guidance and confidence in her ability to execute to move. She also thanked her co-star Paolo Paraiso, who exchanged blows with her in the scene. "Seeing this specific scene for the first time na edited na with scoring simula nung ni-rehearse at shinoot namin siya last year was so nostalgic," Glaiza said. She added that it was also one of her favorite scenes with the late actor Ricky David, who plays Governor Emil in the series. Ending her post, Glaiza expressed her excitement over the upcoming scenes next week. "Anyway, na-e-excite rin ako next week dahil makaka usap na ni Pirena ang hadiya niya at masesermunan na niya ng masinsinan. Muli, avisala eshma sa inyong suporta," she ended. "Encantadia Chronicles: Sang'gre" airs on GMA Network from Mondays to Fridays at 8 p.m. after "24 Oras." Sofia Pablo just met some of the cast of Netflix series 'Wednesday,' including Jenna Ortega! On Instagram on Saturday, the Kapuso actress shared her close-up encounter with Jenna, Emma Myers, Hunter Doohan, and 'Wednesday' creator Tim Burton in Sydney, Australia. 'So, this happened,' Sofia wrote. 'Thanks to my Netflix Philippines family for this experience.' Sofia was also joined by Filipino content creators Nicko Sia, Kerwin King, Chris Cantada, and Hans Galendez, among others. In a separate post, the 'Prinsesa ng City Jail' actress also shared her outfit for the international event: an all-black ensemble inspired by Wednesday Addams' aesthetic. "Wednesday" Season 2 premiered Part 1 on Netflix earlier in August. Part 2 will arrive on September 3. It has also been renewed for Season 3. Sofia is currently in college. Looking back at their intense training, the group revealed how much effort they've put into delivering electrifying performances, as they gear up for their debut concert in Manila at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in October. "As you know, we are practicing and improving our choreographies a lot all day, all night, and that's the power of our team," Yunhyeok said. With their recent album Over Track, released on March 10, 2025, NTX is more than ready to deliver even more powerful vocals, catchy singles, and captivating visuals.
