can fashionably pair a Hermès bag with a subtle six yards of grace and walk inside the Parliament corridor exuding sheer grace, sophistication, and pride. As the Monsoon Session of the Lok Sabha kicked off in July, Kangana's sartorial choices became one of the talking points amid the debates, unfolding something chic and elegant on the sidelines of the political discussions.
Staying well within the boundaries of the parliamentary dress code, she's creating quite a stir online with her choice of clothing and is undeniably bringing a fabulous sense of style. Without breaking a sweat, she recently sported a crisp cotton-blended pastel green saree that is worth discussing, as the finishing and aesthetics of her blouse and pallu whisper style cues for all the ladies out there.

The high round-neckline blouse with full-length balloon sleeves and frill cufflinks brought in a dramatic vintage charm and spoke volumes without trying too hard.

Time and again, she has proved the versatility of a saree and has teamed it with waistcoat blouses, ankle boots, and now with a high-fashion bag. Owning her desi roots, she always looks for handloom sarees and accessorises them with subtle pearls, appearing absolutely iconic.

Srishti Jain and Vaishnavi Prajapati join the cast of Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan
Upcoming fiction drama Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan brings to television a powerful and deeply moving tale of resilience and redemption. Adapted from the acclaimed Kannada show Puttakana Makkalu, the show follows the inspiring journey of Ganga Mai, a woman abandoned by her husband for not bearing a son. Refusing to be broken by society's prejudice, she stands tall, embracing the dual roles of nurturer and provider, as she raises her three daughters with unwavering strength, compassion, and grace. The show is a tribute to emotional honesty and the unyielding spirit of womanhood. Following the introduction of veteran actress Shubhangi Latkar as the resilient Ganga Mai and Amandeep Sidhu in a pivotal role as Sneha, Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan now welcomes two more dynamic female characters to its narrative. Popular television actress Srishti Jain joins the cast as Sahana, Ganga Mai's eldest daughter, a gentle, selfless woman whose quiet strength and emotional intelligence mirror her mother's. As the backbone of the family's home-run mess business, Sahana is admired for her cooking skills and calming presence, often mediating between her strong-willed younger sister and principled mother. She emerges as a calm mediator whose journey gradually unfolds into one of self-assurance and independence. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like This Is What First-Class Living Really Looks Like Explore Undo Adding youthful energy to the ensemble is the talented Vaishnavi Prajapati as Soni, the youngest daughter of Ganga Mai, a bright, spirited all-rounder who excels in academics, sports, and even keeps the family's accounts in check. Her infectious energy and playful spirit bring a spark of joy to the family. Together, the characters of Sahana and Soni add fresh layers of emotional depth and dynamism to the story. Srishti Jain said, 'I'm absolutely thrilled to be back on the channel. It feels like a homecoming! Playing Sahana in Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan has been a beautiful experience so far. She's such a gentle, selfless soul with immense inner strength, and I was instantly drawn to her emotional depth. What I love most is her quiet resilience; she holds her family together, manages their mess business, and gradually evolves into a more confident, independent woman. I've never portrayed a character like this in my acting career until now; Sahana is one of the simplest and grounded characters my viewers will get to watch. I believe it's always fulfilling to portray characters who inspire, and Sahana's journey will definitely touch hearts. I'm truly grateful for the opportunity to play such a positive lead in a show that celebrates strong, grounded women.' Vaishnavi Prajapati said, 'I feel so lucky and excited to be part of a show as special as Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan! Playing Soni has been so much fun; she's full of life and the youngest daughter of Ganga Mai, curious, and always ready to help her family. I love that she excels in both academics and sports, and even handles the accounts of the mess while being smart and playful at the same time! Working alongside such experienced and talented actors has been a big learning experience for me, and I'm so grateful to be part of this amazing team. I hope viewers enjoy watching Suma's journey as much as I enjoy playing her!' Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan is all set to premiere soon. As the story premieres, it will be interesting to see how Ganga Mai holds her family together with unwavering love and determination, rising above society's judgment to create a life of meaning. Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 Update: Tulsi and Vrinda finally get to know the real culprit; Mihir-Tulsi fix Pari's marriage
The latest episode of Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi 2 begins with Tulsi waiting for Vrinda at Hemant's office. She starts getting worried because Vrinda hasn't arrived yet. Hemant tries to calm her down, saying there's no need to worry now that Angad is back home. But Tulsi reminds him that even though Angad is home, Sameer is still in jail. Vrinda finally shows up and tells them the truth. Hemant and Tulsi then realise that someone has changed the evidence to frame both Angad and Sameer. Vrinda gets worried as she doesn't want her brother to get caught. She asks Tulsi to keep her brother Nitin away from the case and the former assures her. They take Hemant's help and he arranges a sketch artist as Vrinda has seen the person in CCTV footage who actually did the accident. Vrinda describes the person and the sketch artist makes the portrait of Dhiren, the real person behind the accident. Meanwhile, Ajay's family decides to visit Shanti Niketan. They ask their son-in-law, Viren, to come along and meet the Virani family. He agrees to join them. A corrupt police officer meets Viren and tells him that Angad got bail, but Sameer is still in jail. Viren says that since Angad is rich, people helped him, but Sameer is poor, so no one will support him or find out the truth. Mihir gets emotional as notices Pari in a saree. Angad and Ritik joke that she will get married and go away and Mihir should focus on them. Tulsi tells Angad and Ritik to help with kitchen work. Soon, the guests arrive. Pari and Tulsi come out to greet them. Ajay's mother asks Pari to touch her feet. Mihir disagrees with this, but Pari touches her feet anyway. Ajay's mother then says that Pari has nice, clear skin. She also says Pari looks good in a saree, but adds that after marriage, she'll be expected to wear a saree every day. Tulsi points out that even Ajay's sister wears Western clothes, but Ajay's mother doesn't agree with that. She starts asking Pari a lot of questions and wants to know if she can cook. She then tells Pari that once she's married, she'll be expected to cook meals daily in their home and she doesn't need to study as well. Ajay's mother then tells Pari that after marriage, she won't be allowed to continue her studies and will be responsible for all household work. Mihir strongly disagrees and confronts her for her outdated mindset. He says he treats his daughter the same as his sons and won't support such thinking. However, Ajay's mother stands firm and says she won't change her beliefs. Seeing this, Mihir calls off the alliance and cancels the wedding. Ajay confronts his parents and says Mihir made valid points. He admits that his lack of education often creates problems in his business. He then asks Pari if she'd be willing to support him in his work, and she agrees. This moment brings them closer, and they begin to understand each other better. Seeing their bond, Ajay's mother finally gives her approval for the marriage. The wedding is confirmed. Later, Ajay's mother asks to see Pari's room and takes a look at her wardrobe. She notices how neatly everything is arranged and starts forming opinions about Pari based on that. Tulsi senses trouble and begins to feel uneasy. The episode comes to an end.
