The 86-year-old was joined in the Royal Box by fellow thespians Sir Mark Rylance, Sienna Miller, Jodie Foster and Richard E. Grant, singer Katherine Jenkins and coffee magnate Giuseppe Lavazza.
Former cricketer David Gower was among those representing the world of sport, while Scotland and Napoli midfielder Scott McTominay and Arsenal duo Bukayo Saka and Jurrien Timber enjoyed the action from less exclusive seats.

American 13th seed Amanda Anisimova celebrated progression to the semi-finals with a special guest.
The 23-year-old was accompanied by nephew Jaxon for her post-match interview on Court One following a 6-1 7-6 (9) win over Russia's Anastasia Pavlyuchenkova.
Jaxon, who turns four on Thursday, only arrived in the UK on Tuesday morning.

The tension on Centre Court during Sabalenka's match against Laura Siegemund was broken when a mobile phone began to ring.
The usual accompanying tuts and moans from other spectators grew louder when it became apparent no one could turn off the annoying ring tone.
One unfortunate spectator was rifling through her bag trying to find the offending item.
But it turned out to have been left behind by someone else and they were trying to locate it remotely. The phone was eventually found under a seat and handed to a member of security.

Celtic fans can breathe a sigh of relief knowing that Kieran Tierney's substitution during his first game for the club after six years away is nothing to worry 28-year-old's withdrawal just after the hour of the opening-day victory over St Mirren was merely to "manage" the left-back and not a sign of anything more serious, manager Brendan Rodgers confirmed. Given the left-back's horror run of injuries since leaving Glasgow, the supporters' angst was returned to Scotland this summer following the expiration of his Arsenal contract and will want to prove to supporters that he is as good as when he left. His first competitive game back showed glimpses that he is, but what did we learn from the Scotland defender's first game back? Celtic must 'manage' Tierney's fitness There was a collective groan from the stands when Tierney went down just after an hour into this stodgy from the latter stages of his first spell, and much of his time with Arsenal, about his fitness crept into the collective consciousness of Celtic fans. In the final season of his last spell in Glasgow, Tierney started 19 league games and missed a large chunk of the season with a hip injury before heading to Arsenal, where he had an equally troublesome time with his fitness. Oasis 'shocked and saddened' as man dies at Wembley concert

It does not necessarily reflect the view of The Herald. Oasis have said they are "shocked and saddened" to hear about the death of a fan at their Wembley Stadium concert last night (August 2). As reported by the BBC, they added in a statement: "Oasis would like to extend our sincere condolences to the family and friends of the person involved." The band's final London concert is set to go ahead as planned tonight (August 3), it has been confirmed. It comes after the Metropolitan Police said a man in his 40s was sadly pronounced dead at the scene and was found with injuries "consistent with a fall". The force continued: 'The stadium was busy and we believe it is likely a number of people witnessed the incident, or may knowingly or unknowingly have caught it on mobile phone video footage. 'If you have any information that could help us to confirm what happened, please call 101.' Sky News said the police confirmed officers on duty at the stadium responded, alongside venue medics and the London Ambulance Service, to reports a person had been injured at around 10.20pm. Reports suggest the man fell from Wembley's upper tier. A spokesperson for Wembley Stadium said: 'Last night, Wembley Stadium medics, the London Ambulance Service and the police attended to a concert-goer who was found with injuries consistent with a fall. Recommended reading: 'Despite their efforts, the fan very sadly died. 'Our thoughts go out to his family, who have been informed and are being supported by specially trained police officers. The police have asked anyone who witnessed the incident to contact them. 'Tonight's Oasis concert will go ahead as planned.'
