Tom's Guide10-07-2025
With Prime Day deals finally upon us, there's no better time to get yourself the display upgrade you've been dreaming of. Lucky for you there are still tons of TV Prime Day deals to sink your teeth into.
I've corralled all the best Hisense discounts I could find in one long post. We're seeing major discounts across Hisense's 2025 lineup, with big-screen displays seeing major slashings. But I've also included some cheaper QLEDs, like the Hisense QD6 QLED for $239 and projectors, like the Hisense C2 4K RGB laser projector for $1,494.
Even if you don't see anything you like, there are loads of TV discounts to nab across Samsung, LG, Sony, and TCL. Check out our huge Sony Prime Day sale to find some sick audio and TV deals if you need a new soundbar.
Otherwise, below you'll find all my favorite Hisense Prime Day TV discounts across Amazon.
As one of Hisense's cheapest QLED offerings, this will net you serious picture performance and is most ideal for sports. Built with soccer in mind, this is your go-to pick for the Premiere League, offering crisp views with motion rate 120 keeping picture stable even in the most action-packed scenarios.
This is the lowest price ever offered for the Hisense 55" Class U6 Series Mini-LED 4K UHD Smart Fire TV. It's a newer TV (a 2025 model, in fact), which means you'll have all the most current technology and features. Between the Native 144Hz, HDR10+ support, Dolby Vision IQ, Dolby Atmos, and Amazon's stellar Fire TV OS, you have everything you need for a great entertainment experience.
The Hisense U8N isn't just one of the most value-forward TVs of the year, it's one of the best TVs, period. It features a bright Mini-LED display with impressive backlight control, making it a versatile pick for both bright- and dark-room viewing. Thanks to an array of high-end features, the U8N is a great pick for casual and dedicated gamers, too. It offers all of this for a far lower price than most of the competition in the Mini-LED class.
The Hisense U7N is a mid-range Mini-LED TV that specializes in bright, colorful HDR performance and gaming features. Its Mini-LED backlighting is especially nice to have at this price point, along with its support for 4K gaming at 120Hz or 144Hz.
The Hisense Canvas TV is designed to blend into a room in the same way a portrait would. To that end, it features a posh matte finish that gives the picture a softer presentation, as well as an elegant frame. If you want to prioritize picture quality above all else, I don't think I'd buy the Canvas TV. However, if your living space cries out for a different sort of TV vibe, the Canvas TV is a great candidate.
The Hisense U8QG is a fantastic Mini-LED TV that lives comfortably in the "Goldilocks Zone" between high performance and high value. It delivers a blisteringly bright picture, top-notch color volume and a host of handy features for gaming, streaming and more. This is the lowest price we've seen so far on this brand-new, 2025 TV — but it's probably not going to last.
This Mini-LED TV launched this year, bringing with it several enticing upgrades for gamers. Built on a 165Hz refresh rate with a Game Mode Ultra mode, the Hisense U7QG is designed to be the best seat in the house for the PS5, Xbox Series X, and even your PC. Add to that one serious sound system in its 2.1.2-channel speaker and you've got a powerhouse of a TV with tons of flare.
Given the C2 Ultra is rated as one of our favorite projectors, it should come as no surprise the base C2 is a serious offering for projector enthusiasts. It offers stunning images at up 300-inch and hits 2,000 ANSI lumens, making it ideal even in bright rooms.

Galaxy S26 Ultra could make spying on your screen impossible with this crazy tech

Joe Maring / Android Authority TL;DR The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra could apparently arrive with 'Flex Magic Pixel' technology. This tech adjusts a display's pixels to control viewing angles, improving privacy in the process. Flex Magic Pixel tech could also land on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and Z Flip 8. The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra ships with Corning Gorilla Armor 2, which offers great durability but also reduces glare. However, Samsung could bring another cool screen innovation to the Galaxy S26 Ultra. Korean outlet Dealsite (via Jukanlosreve on Twitter) reports that the Galaxy S26 Ultra will adopt 'Flex Magic Pixel' technology on its screen. Samsung Display previously announced this tech, which uses AI to 'adjust' a screen's pixels to control viewing angles. Don't want to miss the best from Android Authority? Set us as a preferred source in Google Search to support us and make sure you never miss our latest exclusive reports, expert analysis, and much more. 'Flex Magic Pixel will be applied to the Ultra among the Galaxy S26 series. Samsung Display has been developing the technology for quite some time, but this is the first time they are entering full-scale mass production,' a source told the outlet. 'It is highly likely that Flex Magic Pixel will be applied to the next Fold and Flip series as well.' What is Flex Magic Pixel? 'Flex Magic Pixel is a technology that adjusts the viewing angle so that the screen is not easily visible to the person next to it,' Samsung Display previously explained. 'It can sync with AI technology to adjust the level of security depending on the app being used, thereby enhancing consumer convenience.' Samsung's display arm also gave an example of how this could work: For example, when a smart device user runs a banking application in a public place, AI technology can automatically recognize the environment and initiate additional security features. And, OLEDs equipped with Flex Magic Pixel technology can further enhance the security of smart devices. In other words, the screen can dynamically switch to a narrower viewing angle when it detects that a sensitive app is on-screen. It also sounds like your location could theoretically be taken into account. This could be handy if you don't want a fellow commuter peeking over your shoulder while you're using a financial app, social media app, or viewing a chat log. Some companies offer privacy films that similarly restrict your screen's viewing angles. These films often adversely affect brightness and overall image quality. However, Dealsite reports that Flex Magic Pixel doesn't have these drawbacks. The outlet adds that Flex Magic Pixel will be applied to the Galaxy S26 Ultra in concert with Color filter on Encapsulation (CoE) tech. This technology, which is already used on Galaxy foldables, replaces the display's polarizer layer with a color filter. This results in a thinner, brighter, and more efficient screen. The outlet's sources say CoE tech is key for Flex Magic Pixel as it can reduce the amount of light lost when this privacy feature is enabled. This wouldn't be the first time smartphone OEMs tried to tackle screen privacy, though. BlackBerry's Android phones offered a privacy shade feature that dimmed all but a small, draggable portion of the screen. In any event, Samsung's tech sounds far more powerful and seamless, so we're keen to try it out. Follow

Amazon (AMZN) Unleashes ‘Household OS' Market Strategy

Just last week, Amazon (AMZN) announced its Same-Day Delivery service to include perishable grocery items at no additional cost for Prime members, putting it in direct competition with retail giants like Walmart (WMT). This move could spark two reactions from investors: concern over margin pressure or recognition that Prime is solidifying its role as the essential operating system for the American household. While margin erosion may be a near-term risk, I believe the latter view better captures Amazon's long-term value proposition—supporting my bullish stance that AMZN remains one of the market's most compelling stocks. Financial Firepower for the Final Frontier Before diving into frozen pizza and milk, it's worth stepping back. Amazon has significant room to experiment, backed by strong financial performance. Its Q2 2025 results show the business firing on all cylinders, generating the massive cash flow needed to bankroll a long-term, capital-heavy push into the $1 trillion-plus U.S. grocery market. Amazon's core strength lies in its ability to leverage existing advantages—such as logistics, scale, and capital—to break into new markets. A prime example is Amazon Web Services, launched in 2006, more than two decades after the company's founding. Today, AWS has grown into a powerhouse, generating $30.9 billion in revenue in Q2 alone. Of course, not every experiment succeeds—take the failed Fire Phone, for instance—but unlike a typical entrepreneur who risks losing everything, Amazon has the financial cushion to absorb the occasional flop. For years, a common trope around Amazon was that it had to continually sacrifice profitability in pursuit of growth. Thanks to AWS, that's no longer the case. The company is now simultaneously expanding both revenue and profits, showcasing impressive operating leverage. Meanwhile, Amazon's core e-commerce business remains robust. North America segment sales rose 11% year-over-year to $100.1 billion in Q2, supported by its massive, regionalized U.S. fulfillment network that positions inventory closer to customers. This not only enables faster delivery—often the same day—but also lowers average shipping distances, creating cost efficiencies that reinforce Amazon's competitive moat. It's Not About Groceries, It's About the Flywheel Amazon's move to expand Same-Day Delivery into groceries should be seen in context. This isn't a speculative experiment like the Fire Phone. Having already absorbed the heavy capital costs of building a faster, more efficient fulfillment network for general merchandise, Amazon can now leverage those 'sunk costs' to attack the grocery vertical. Adding temperature-controlled zones to existing advanced facilities is far less expensive than building a cold-chain logistics network from scratch—positioning Amazon, quite literally 'primed,' to capture share in the grocery market. But the real story may lie in the indirect benefits. Fresh groceries increase customer stickiness by creating high-frequency, routine purchases that embed Amazon into daily consumer behavior. They also generate valuable data to enhance ad targeting and expand the company's high-margin advertising business. Most importantly, free, fast grocery delivery raises the value of a Prime membership, helping drive new sign-ups while justifying future price hikes. In short, Amazon's Same-Day grocery push doesn't just add a new revenue stream—it accelerates the flywheel. Navigating the Headwinds That said, risks remain. The unit economics of online grocery are notoriously tricky. McKinsey & Company estimates that a $100 online grocery order can produce a net loss of about $13, a key reason so many companies have struggled to make the model profitable. While Amazon's scale provides an edge, its margins could take a hit if grocery losses aren't offset quickly, particularly in the early adoption phase. This risk is compounded by the fact that Amazon's margins are already under strain from heavy AI investments. On top of that, entrenched competitors like Walmart—currently the leader in online grocery—are unlikely to cede ground easily. The result could be a prolonged, costly battle that squeezes profitability across the sector. Is Amazon a Buy, Hold, or Sell? On Wall Street, AMZN earns a consensus Strong Buy rating based on 44 Buy, one Hold, and zero Sell ratings in the past three months. AMZN's average price target of $265.22 implies an upside potential of 15% over the next 12 months. Amazon's Grocery Bet Could Reshape Retail In summary, Amazon's expansion into same-day perishable delivery is about more than selling groceries—it's another step in a decades-long strategy to become the central utility of American commerce. While entering the notoriously difficult grocery sector carries risks, including margin pressure and fierce competition, Amazon's scale, financial strength, and operational capabilities position it to not only redefine the retail landscape but also further entrench Prime as the essential gateway to modern consumer life.
