As per the latest reports, fans who expect to see a full performance from the 'KGF' star in the first part may have to wait.
According to a recent report by Telly Chakkar, Yash's role in Ramayana: Part 1 will be limited to just 15 minutes. Although this news may come as a shock to many people, it seems that there may be a purposeful decision behind this. The first film is focused on Lord Rama's journey from Ayodhya to being exiled in the forest, and the attention is on Ranbir's character.
According to the report, Yash's portrayal of Ravana may come during the second installment, which means the makers of 'Ramayana: Part 2' will have other important aspects of the character they laid groundwork for with Part 1 and may have a lot more time with Ravana moving forward.
However, the makers are yet to make any official confirmation.
The first look that the makers released certainly teases an epic film, with over-the-top action and grand visuals, accompanied by an equally grand score from legendary composers Hans Zimmer and A.R. Rahman. While Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama and Sai Pallavi as Maa Sita are drawing major attention, Ravi Dubey and Sunny Deol will play Lakshmana and Hanuman, respectively.
'Ramayana' will be released in two parts; the first will be released in theatres during Diwali 2026, and the second in Diwali 2027.
On the other hand, Yash is also working on his gangster drug mafia film, 'Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups'.

BEd student gears up for 216-hr Bharatanatyam marathon to enter record book
Udupi: Vidhushi Deeksha V, a BEd student from Udupi, is preparing for a 216-hour (nine-day) Bharatanatyam marathon in her bid to enter the Golden Book of World Records. Hailing from, Arooru in Brahmavar, Deeksha is the daughter of Shubha, a hostel helper and Vittal, a bus driver at Little Rock Indian School, Bramhavar. An alumna of the same school, she pursued her PU education at Amritha Bharati PU College, Hebri, and completed her BSc from Dr G Shankar Women's College, Ajjarkad. She is currently enrolled in the BEd course at Dr TMA Pai College of Education, Kunjibettu. She began learning Bharatanatyam at an early age. Speaking to TOI, she told, " I formally began training when I was in UKG and developed an inclination towards the art when I was class 5." She trained under Vidhushi Shruthi Raghavendra Bhat for her junior and senior exams, before completing her Vidhwath under Vidhwan Shridar Rao. Deeksha said she would dance for 216 hours with a 15-minute break every three hours, or a five-minute break every hour, spread across nine days. "I chose nine days because nine is a divine number," said Deeksha.
