Hari Hara Veera Mallu Box Office Day 1: Pawan Kalyan Starrer To Be Second Highest Grosser Of 2025?
Hari Hara Veera Mallu Box Office Day 1: Pawan Kalyan is all set to return to the big screen after two years. Fans have been eagerly waiting for his much-awaited period actioner Hari Hara Veera Mallu. The film has generated massive pre-release buzz, and early estimates suggest the film is poised to make a thunderous start at the box office. Report claims that the film could outshine nearly every Tollywood release of 2025, barring only one — Ram Charan's Game Changer.
Slated for release on July 24, Hari Hara Veera Mallu is directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. The film's teaser has already made a strong impact online, and the excitement among fans is palpable. But still, as Koimoi mentioned that the film will remain much below Vakeel Saab, which earned 40.1 crore net. On day 1, collection at the Indian box office is going to be underwhelming considering the film's scale and the budget of over 300 crores.
The film will be second biggest opening for Tollywood in 2025, as reported. It is likely to beat every Telugu release of the year, except for Ram Charan's Game Changer. It opened at a huge 54 crore net.
The Pawan Kalyan starrer is expected to beat the day 1 collection of Daaku Maharaaj (25.35 crores), Sankranthiki Vasthunam (23 crores), HIT: The Third Case (21 crores) and Kuberaa – 14.75 crores.
Hari Hara Veera Mallu sequel
In an interaction with the media in Amaravati on Tuesday, Pawan Kalyan opened up about HHVM's sequel. 'We will plan HHVM's sequel depending on the box office collection of part one and my schedule. We also need God's blessings for the sequel to happen." Krish and Jyothi Krishna's Hari Hara Veera Mallu, starring Pawan Kalyan, is all set to release on July 24. This will mark Pawan Kalyan's first film after becoming the Deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh.
Presented by AM Rathnam, Hari Hara Veera Mallu Part 1: Sword Vs Spirit's power-packed trailer was released by the makers on July 3. It features Pawan Kalyan as a rebellious warrior who dares to defy the mighty Mughal emperor, Aurangzeb, played by Bobby Deol. The 2-minute 56-second video begins with a voiceover that evokes the national spirit to protect Sanatana Dharma against the Delhi Sultanate. The Kushi star can be seen flexing his sheer personality with a commanding on-screen performance.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu Box Office Collection Day 6: Pawan Kalyan film remains steady after VFX change, earns THIS amount
Hari Hara Veera Mallu Box Office Collection Day 6: Actor Pawan Kalyan's film Hari Hara Veera Mallu - Part 1 Sword vs Spirit has registered a sharp fall in its earnings after its first weekend at the box office. On Tuesday, the film maintained its grip despite reduced occupancy in theatres. According to the industry tracker Sacnilk, Hari Hara Veera Mallu - Part 1 Sword vs Spirit earned ₹ 83 lakh so far. The live data is based on morning and afternoon shows. The final figure will be out after the night shows. The film's current earnings could potentially double if it maintains its momentum. The total earnings of Hari Hara Veera Mallu now stand at ₹ 78.18 crore. The film had an overall 14.30% occupancy on Tuesday among the Telugu audience. The occupancy was as follows: On day 5, the film's India Net Collection was ₹ 77.35 crore. On the same day, its Worldwide Collection was ₹ 105.25 crore while Worldwide Collection was ₹ 14.10 crore. Its India Gross Collection was ₹ 91.15 crore on day 5. The film is directed by Krish and Jyothi Krisna. It stars Pawan Kalyan alongside Nidhhi Agerwal and Bobby Deol in the lead. The film was initially criticised for its poor VFX and CGI shots. The film was silently re-released with tweaked CGI recently. Some portions of the film were also reduced, shortening its total running time. Talking about it, director Jyothi admitted to ABN that he knew beforehand some scenes weren't fully up to par before their release. 'Anyone will troll only those who are in the limelight. People only get views when they write about something famous. I do not take any of the negativity to heart. Every single day, I see something negative being written about Hari Hara Veera Mallu. This is not the first time a film has taken this long to produce,' he said. Commenting on the criticism around the film's VFX or CGI, he said that they weren't 'that bad'. 'When they nitpicked, all they could find was that the CGI and VFX were bad in some places. No one could point out the story and screenplay, or say it's boring, or that they can't understand it. There are 4400 shots in the film that required CGI. I knew in my heart that a few shots weren't up to par, but it wasn't something huge. We needed to hold special premieres for which tickets were sold out, and they turned that minor issue into something major," he also said.

Vijay Sethupathi and Nithya Menen's latest romantic comedy-drama Thalaivan Thalaivii has been winning hearts. The film was released in theatres on July 25, 2025. Now, reports suggest that the film's OTT streaming rights have been acquired by Amazon Prime Video. The film is directed by Pandiraj, known for Etharkkum Thunindhavan. The Times Of India has quoted the latest reports mentioning that a major streaming platform has bought the rights of the film. It will release on Amazon Prime Video. However, neither the makers nor streaming platform has confirmed the news. The story blends themes of love, familial bonding and comedy, offering an emotionally rich and entertaining experience. Audiences have already begun responding positively, with social media flooded with praise for the film's feel-good narrative, relatable characters and warm performances. The film also features comedian Yogi Babu in a special role and the music by Santhosh Narayanan has been widely appreciated for adding emotional depth and charm to the storyline. Although the film was initially announced to have a Telugu version titled Sir Madam, its release status remains unclear. While the Tamil version opened in theatres as planned, tickets for Sir Madam are yet to be listed in Telugu-speaking regions. So far, there has been no official confirmation from the makers about whether the Telugu version will see a delayed theatrical release or skip theatres in favour of a direct OTT premiere. Industry insiders speculate that the team may have chosen to avoid a box-office clash with the big-budget Telugu film Hari Hara Veera Mallu. Vijay Sethupathi has an exciting lineup of films beyond Thalaivan Thalaivii. Up next is Gandhi Talks, an experimental silent comedy-drama written and directed by Kishor Pandurang Belekar. The film co-stars Aditi Rao Hydari, Arvind Swamy, Mahesh Manjrekar and others and has already made history as the first Indian silent film to be screened at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI). Nithya Menen will next be seen in Idly Kadai, a Tamil-language drama directed and co-produced by Dhanush under his home banner, Wunderbar Films, in association with Dawn Pictures. The film pairs Nithya with Dhanush in the lead and features a strong ensemble cast including Arun Vijay, Shalini Pandey, Sathyaraj, Parthiban, P. Samuthirakani and Rajkiran.
