Liv Morgan may have suffered a setback, but it could lead to something big.
Liv Morgan has been on the run of a lifetime since the better part of 2024. She had a captivating run as the
WWE
Women's World Champion.
At the start of 2025, she and Raquel Rodriguez were ruling the roost as the tag team champions. However, an unfortunate incident occurred on the June 16th edition of RAW, resulting in her shoulder injury.
The Miracle Kid had to be escorted out of her match and was evaluated upon reaching the backstage area. Furthermore, a report by PWInsider has stated that Morgan will require surgery and is expected to be out for six months.
Despite a major setback at the prime of her career, Morgan can still make an impact upon her return.
A monster push can put Liv Morgan back at the top of the WWE women's division upon her return
Liv Morgan was scheduled to compete in a singles match against Kairi Sane on RAW this week. As the bout began, the duo engaged, and in the first few moments, Morgan dropped on the mat awkwardly. This led to her suffering a dislocated shoulder and the match being immediately stopped.
Morgan was able to walk out on her own, but had assistance from the WWE officials.

Now, with the recent update on her injury, she will miss a significant time on WWE television. While such a hiatus can lead to fans forgetting about the stars and they losing their spot, that does not seem to be the case with Liv Morgan.
Immediately after she was injured, Liv Morgan received immense support and well wishes for a speedy recovery from her fan base. Amidst her absence, she could continue to engage with the audience through her social media and outside public appearances.
Moreover, she could utilise this time to pursue other major projects like she did recently with the Hollywood film, 'Bad Lieutenant: Tokyo', significantly boosting her fame further.
Moreover, the fans would surely be waiting for her return, considering the star power she commands. All this can lead up to a thunderous return, possibly as a surprise entrant in the Women's Royal Rumble 2026 in Saudi Arabia. Morgan, after finishing as a runner-up for years, can finally etch that accolade to her resume and earn a major title match at WrestleMania 42.
This could be huge for her resurgence in WWE and also mark the start of a potential second reign as the WWE Women's World Champion. So it remains to be seen if WWE could turn this setback into an opportunity for Liv Morgan's ascension to even greater heights.

He wants to finish his wrestling career the right way, and most of all, he wants his son, Gage, to see him in the ring one last time. Goldberg says Gunther thinks he is just an old man Goldberg recently appeared on The National Football Show and shared what he believes Gunther thinks about him. He admitted that Gunther probably does not take him seriously anymore. 'Who I am to him (Gunther) is an old man – is a 58-year-old guy who is hobbled and not like he used to be and he believes that even at my peak, he could have taken me which is absolutely laughable. But, I mean… he's a formidable opponent. He's the World Heavyweight Champion.' by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Giao dịch CFD với công nghệ và tốc độ tốt hơn IC Markets Đăng ký Undo Even though Goldberg knows Gunther sees him as past his prime, he still respects the champion. The National Football Show with Dan Sileo | Wednesday June 18th, 2025 'It's an honor to step into a position to be vying for the World Heavyweight Championship at 58 years old. I don't know of any other ones who've retired with a match like that.' Goldberg returned to WWE during the June 16 episode of Monday Night Raw. As Gunther was in the ring talking about who might challenge him, Goldberg surprised everyone by coming out. Soon after, the match was made official for July 12 in Atlanta. The truth behind Goldberg's WWE return The last match of Goldberg was at Elimination Chamber 2022, and he was not happy with how it ended. That loss stayed with him. Now, he says he wants to go out on a better note. More than anything, he wants his son to be proud. 'Because I ain't freaking going out the way I went out. Period, end of story... I'm gonna do my best… 50 percent of me is better than 99 percent of the pricks on the planet... It's another opportunity to give Gage a platform to see his dad go out and do his thing.' Goldberg has been training for the last six months to prepare for this fight. He knows it will not be easy, and he even said he does not care if he has to be carried out of the ring afterward. 'If they have to drag me out of there or carry me out of there, then that's fine because I chose to do it and I chose to spend the last six months training and preparing for this.' I don't have to stand in freakin' line… So Bully Ray can bite me. But everybody's got an opinion... I love him to death and I respect his opinion. But his opinion is like an asshole and everybody's got one.' He also responded to fans calling him too old to wrestle. 'Everybody, 'Oh, Goldberg's limping to the ring, Goldberg's small, Goldberg's old.' I am freakin' old. What do you want me to do? … Turn the clock back? But, show me another 58-year-old dude that's willing to go out and do this?' As the big match gets closer, Goldberg is ready to risk everything. He is not just fighting Gunther, he is fighting for his legacy, for his family, and for one final moment in the spotlight. Shriya Pilgaonkar says Mirzapur, not Shah Rukh Khan's Fan, was her turning point: 'I'm known as Sweety Gupta to a lot of people'
Shriya Pilgaonkar , daughter of veteran actors Sachin and Supriya Pilgaonkar, was last seen playing a poised officer in Chhal Kapat: The Deception. In a recent interview with NDTV, the actress, who played the role of Sweety Gupta in Mirzapur, said that even though she made her debut alongside Shah Rukh Khan in Fan, her real breakthrough came through Mirzapur. "Although I made my Hindi film debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Fan, I think it was Mirzapur that really changed the momentum of my career in terms of the show's success. It was like doing a big commercial film, right? It's still extremely popular. I'm known as Sweety Gupta to a lot of people,' she added. Reflecting on other key moments that shaped her journey as an actor, she shared, "And after that, I think if I were to speak in terms of the scope that a part gave me, Guilty Minds—I mean, my character of the lawyer Kashaf Kazi in Guilty Minds—gave me a lot of love from critics, and I think it just gave me the scope to show what I'm capable of. Every actor really wants that, you know, when you have that much meat and that much scope to really play around, explore yourself, unravel those layers. But I've been very, very fortunate because all the parts I've played have had a certain graph and have been memorable in their own way." The actress added, "And people know me as those characters, and I think there is no bigger compliment than people calling you by the names of the characters—whether it is Sweety from Mirzapur or Madhu from Taaza Khabar—when people call me that, it makes me feel very good." by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Blood cancer is taking our curious baby away from us! And I feel like I'm more ambitious than I've ever been," Shriya concluded. For the unversed, in Chhal Kapat: The Deception, Shriya plays a fierce cop. As part of her preparation for the role, she interacted with several real-life police officers in Uttar Pradesh, including ADG Padmaja Chauhan. She also learned about 1090, a women's redressal helpline run by the state police. Directed by Ajay Bhuyan, the series features an ensemble cast including Kamya Ahlawat, Ragini Dwivedi, Tuhina Das, Yahhve Sharma, Pranay Pachauri, Smaran Sahu, and Anuj Sachdeva.
