Dominik Mysterio hopes 'unbelievable' WWE star finally gets chance to shine
The current Intercontinental Champion is flying high in his own right after winning his first singles title on the main roster at WrestleMania 41 in April, but he's also given another star their props.
Speaking in Las Vegas, Dom was asked who the 'most underrated' superstar in WWE is, and exclusively told Metro: 'Man, there's so many. I fee like if they just let [Akira] Tozawa go, he would be – he's just so f***ing good!'
He added: 'He's the man!'
Although Tozawa has shown flashes in matches against the likes of World Heavyweight Champion GUNTHER, but he's largely used as enhancement talent to make other wrestlers look strong.

The 39-year-old star has plenty of experience and talent, having built his reputation in Japan's Dragon Gate promotion.
Dirty Dom wasn't the only star who has called for Tozawa to be given more of an opportunity on screen.
Maxxine Dupri, who is part of the Alpha Academy group with Tozawa and Otis, admitted has loved getting to work with him as she hones her craft.

'I've been very, very blessed with such amazing people around me. Everyone we get to work with has really guided me along the way. And now we have Tozawa,' she said.
'And Tazawa is unbelievable when you look at his career and his longevity and his talent. It's really, really cool to get to learn from him.'
She added: 'All my boys are [massively underrated], but their time is coming.'
Women's Intercontinental Champion Lyra Valkyria gave Maxxine herself a shout-out in Vegas when asked for her pick for most underrated, while Maxxine paid some compliments the other way.
'Oh my gosh, we have so many who are underrated. That's a tough one. I'm gonna go [with] Lyra,' she said, not knowing the Dubliner had chosen her earlier on.
'I know she's getting her flowers in this moment, but I think that she still has so much more to give that we're gonna get to see in the coming years.'
Meanwhile, former WWE star Dakota Kai – who has since been released by the company amid roster cuts – picked UK standout Alba Fyre, having got to know her well from their time wrestling each other in Japan. More Trending
'I loved wrestling her since back before on the SHIMMER days,' she recalled. 'She's always been a person I looked up to, so I hope she gets more opportunities.'
Alba is currently a featured act on SmackDown, forming one third of the Secret Hervice with Chelsea Green and Piper Niven.

Doctor Who star's show dropped from UK streaming service confirms ITV launch
More than a year after it was pulled off Paramount Plus, a mystery drama starring Jodie Whittaker is returning to UK screens. A month after it aired in Australia, the series One Night was made available to UK viewers in November 2024. The six-part series followed friends Tess (Jodie), Simone (Nicole da Silva) and Hat (Yael Stone), whose lives have been changed by 'the traumatic events of one night in their hometown twenty years previously'. It was teased of the show: 'One Night is the story of three women whose bond was all but destroyed by the traumatic events of one night 20 years ago. 'Since then, Simone has harboured secret hopes of becoming a novelist but most of her haphazard attempts have been shoved into her bottom drawer. Now, at the age of 40, she has finally written the one story she could never get out of her mind, and her debut manuscript has become an unexpected overnight success. 'But it soon becomes apparent that the devastating story the book tells doesn't exclusively belong to her. At the heart of Simone's novel is a tragedy which also happened to Tess (Jodie Whittaker) and Hat (Yael Stone), her two childhood best friends. 'As it becomes harder to prise fact from fiction, one person's memory and story from another's, the book threatens to derail all their friendships, bringing old traumas to the surface of the small coastal community where they grew up, and stirring its perpetrators, who want to make it all go away.' Despite it being labelled a 'very solid crime drama' by critics, One Night suddenly disappeared from Paramount after just three months. It was explained at the time that this was due to the platform reportedly shifts towards a focus on Hollywood-style content with mass appeal and wider cost-savings efforts. However, ITV has now announced it will be bringing the show back and allowing viewers to tune in again – or for the first time. One Night will now stream in full from Saturday August 16 and will also air that night on ITV1. At the time of its release, The Guardian wrote the following about One Night: 'The overall effect is very much of an Australian Big Little Lies – a female-centred story played out mostly amongst affluent people in shiny clothes and shinier houses.' To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video 'With strong performances and a diverse cast, it demands attention — but its biggest triumph may just be in the conversations it sparks after its watched,' The London Evening Standard shared. 'The show might have benefitted from unspooling its central narrative over fewer episodes because after the halfway mark the drama becomes less character-driven, skating into crime mystery territory. But the acting throughout One Night is incredible,' The Age added. One Night was the first TV role since playing the first female Doctor for Jodie. Reflecting on what drew her to the project, the 41-year-old actress explained that the drama depicted a story about sexual assault in a way that felt 'completely unique' to her. 'What made this completely unique to me and completely engrossing was the change of POV [point of view],' she told Metro. 'Very often it's told from outside in – there's an investigation, there's detectives, there's people working things out. This is about the decimation something like that can have. 'It's also about how the event – whether it happened a minute ago or 20 years ago – is defining for a group of women that it affects, particularly this friendship group. But also what it's about is how we all survive something like that and who owns memory, who has the right to tell stories, and especially if that story is true.' More Trending One Night was created and written by the award-winning Emily Ballou (The Slap, Taboo) and directed by Catherine Millar (The Twelve, The Secrets She Keeps) and Lisa Matthews (Doctor Doctor). It also stars Kat Stewart, George Mason, Erroll Shand, Noni Hazlehurst, Tina Bursill (Doctor Doctor), William Zappa, Damien Strouthos and Jillian Nguyen. One Night is streaming on ITVX from Saturday August 16. It will air that night at 9.30pm on ITV1. View More » A version of this article was originally published on February 5, 2024. Got a story? Amazon Prime's ‘amazing' new crime thriller jumps to top of streaming charts
The Assassin, which was released on Amazon Prime Video last month, has leapt to the top of the platform's streaming charts. The action thriller stars Keeley Hawes as titular assassin Julie, who reunites with her estranged son (Edward, played by Freddie Highmore) after he tracks her down with questions about her past. The pair soon become entangled in a high-octane, high-stakes conspiracy when her past catches up with her. With a huge target on their backs, mother and son are forced to go on the run, in an ambitious plot Metro's own Sabrina Barr describes as 'Mamma Mia combined with Taken.' Released on July 25, the series earned rave reviews for its 'entertaining action' and shocking twists. This has helped The Assassin to fend off heavy hitters like Clarkson's Farm, The Summer I Turned Pretty and Neighbours in the battle of the UK streaming charts. To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video As per a report by Flixpatrol, The Assassin has become the most streamed piece of entertainment on Amazon Prime, beating 2023's Barbie and the Eddie Murphy vehicle The Pickup on its journey to supremacy. The Assassin is currently sitting at a 92% 'Fresh' rating on review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes, with Empire Magazine praising its 'cutthroat action' and 'cutting' dynamic between its stars. Elsewhere, The Guardian described it as 'so much fun,' while The Telegraph called it 'Mamma Mia! with a sniper rifle.' While the audience score is more divided at 38%, those who enjoyed the show have responded well to its dark sense of humour and explosive action. 'Super fun. If you liked the tourist you'll like this series. Dark quirky humour with lots of action. This isn't for everyone you'll need to be able to think on your feet to enjoy the ride!' wrote Rotten Tomatoes user Kay M. 'This was fun, exciting and thrilling. I wished it lasted longer,' said Yeremiah A. Sas B chimed in: 'I loved this – the acting is amazing, the characters and situations fairly hilarious.. it's a dark comedy! More please!' Speaking on the blend of comedy and action, Freddie told Metro: '[The humour's] not too broad or too silly, but it complements the seriousness of it and gives it a bit of texture and nuance, and also keeps it quite real,' Freddie outlines. 'The characters are all accessible and approachable and definitely make mistakes. Even with Keeley's character, who's incredibly accomplished at what she does, the show doesn't try to make her impossibly perfect. 'I think a part of that is the sense of humour and that British dose of self-deprecation.' Meanwhile, Line of Duty and Finding Alice star Keeley has weighed in on her turn as the titular assassin, describing herself as 'basically the new Tom Cruise.' More Trending Reacting to the description of her character as a 'perimenopausal James Bond' she told The Observer: 'When I saw that line in the script, I howled with laughter. You even glimpse her popping HRT pills. I don't think I've ever seen that in a drama before. Going into the specifics of her action hero training she revealed: 'I had weapons training. There's a scene where I assemble a sniper rifle in a slick way. It's worryingly easy, actually. Even if you put the components of a rifle in front of me now, a year later, I could probably do it quite quickly. It's a bit like riding a bike.' Peter Andre left 'feeling sick' as daughter Princess, 18, reveals shocking DMs
To view this video please enable JavaScript, and consider upgrading to a web browser that supports HTML5 video Peter Andre was left horrified when teenage daughter Princess revealed the messages she receives from men on social media. The 18-year-old, whose parents are Australian pop star Peter, 52, and former glamour model Katie Price, 47, is following in her mum and dad's footsteps by venturing into showbiz. Princess has collaborated with fast fashion giants Shein and PrettyLittleThing on Instagram ads and was recently confirmed for her own reality show on ITV. However, the budding influencer, who boasts 774,000 followers on Insta alone, is quickly learning that there's a dark side to being a public figure. In the first episode of her show, The Princess Diaries, doting dad Peter has a candid conversation with her about online trolling, resulting in disgust as Princess digs out some harrowing DMs. 'What ya doing?', Peter asks as they sit together on the sofa, to which she replies: 'Reading comments.' 'People saying they wanna see my feet,' Princess laughs, to which Peter's expression quickly turns to one of concern. 'What? They wanna see your feet? When did this start happening?', he quizzes, taken aback. As Princess says that it's been happening throughout the last year, the Mysterious Girl singer begs: 'Please God, that's the only thing they ask for?' Unfortunately, that isn't the case, as Princess reveals that men have also sent her messages celebrating the fact that she's 'finally legal'. 'You find out who that was, flipping heck!', declares Peter, his head in his hands. Princess then scrolls through her messages to show her dad the reality of being a young female influencer in 2025, hesitant to even expose him to what she's on the receiving end of. 'I don't actually know if I want to show you,' she admits, but tells cameras in a cutaway clip that she 'doesn't want to hide stuff from him'. After digging out one example of 'disgusting' direct messaging, Princess hands her dad the phone, to which he physically recoils. 'I didn't think it was gonna be like that,' he retorts, deeply disturbed. 'Oh my God. 'That really has made me feel sick, like, in the pit of my stomach.' The reality star adds to his daughter: 'I hate it because you're still my baby. How old is this dude? Oh my God, what's his name? Where does he live?' When Princess explains that the individual in question has an anonymous profile, Peter asks whether she feels 'distressed' reading such comments. 'That's life, that's social media,' she states, informing her dad that she can't simply 'get rid of it' because it's now her job. The Insania singer then expresses regret over letting his daughter use social media at a young age, having always felt fearful of the unknown due to the likes of Instagram and TikTok not existing when he started out. Peter has long been protective of Princess, as well as his other kids. He also has Junior, 20, with Katie, as well as Theo, Amelia, and Arabella with wife Emily Andre, 35. However, having a father in the industry has been a huge help to Princess and her brother, who is forging a music career for himself. Speaking ahead of the launch of The Princess Diaries, Junior told This Morning: 'Growing up in the public eye comes with its pros and cons. We keep a lot of things private; people think they know a lot more than they do. 'We're normal and humble; we don't feel different to anyone else. We're all human.' Princess added that while she expects some 'negativity', her parents have taught her 'how to deal with it'. 'There are horrible people, but we just have to deal with it.' More Trending Alas, the launch of the teen's reality show hasn't been without drama, due to reports of her feuding with mum Katie, who claimed she was 'banned' from appearing in the programme. Speaking on her podcast with sister Sophie, the reality icon said she felt 'upset' after allegedly being told she was 'not welcome' on the set. Addressing the speculation, Princess later told the Daily Mail: 'It's my show; it's not based on my parents; it's focused on me. To be honest, there's no rift between me and either of my parents.'
