He's been spotted in the stands posing with Hoops fans who made the journey at today's opener.
Then he made his way down to the playing surface at half-time, warmly greeting Brendan Rodgers and his former team-mates.
He made his debut as a Como player in their 3-1 win against Al-Ahli and now knows he WON'T face the Hoops in the final of the competition after they went down 5-1 to Dutch giants Ajax.
Only yesterday Kuhn told him how he chapped on Rodgers' door - after the deal was signed and sealed - to explain how much gratitude he felt towards the Hoops boss for taking his career to the next level.

Celtic ‘in the mix' to sign Manchester City starlet who's started in UCL but ‘face competition from Championship sides'
CELTIC boss Brendan Rodgers urged his board to make more new signings after their 5-1 friendly defeat to Ajax. And the Hoops are reportedly looking to add defensive reinforcements from the top of the English Premier League. Simpson-Pusey made his first City appearance against the Hoops last summer, starting in a friendly in North Carolina which Celts won 4-3. The centre-back made his senior debut last season too and played six times in total for Pep Guardiola's side, including starts in the Premier League and Champions League. Those starts came during a difficult spell for City though and included a 4-1 defeat to Sporting CP, with Simpson-Pusey returning to the club's academy team for the last few months of the campaign. Advertisement The 19-year-old ended up being named Premier League 2 Player of the Year as he captained City to the title, and now reportedly wants to test himself back in senior football. The report claims that Celts will face competition from the English Championship for Simpson-Pusey, but that their status as a European side who will be competing for titles could make them favourites for his signature. It's also reported that the Manchester native will be the one to decide his destination for the 25/26 season. Rodgers has already seen central defenders Maik Nawrocki and Gustaf Lagerbielke move on this summer, with Stephen Walsh possibly also on the way out. Advertisement Simpson-Pusey would be the latest in a line of players to star for both the Hoops and City. The 2000s saw the likes of Craig Bellamy, Georgios Samaras and Willo Flood feature for both sides. Amongst them were stars such as Scott Sinclair, Patrick Roberts and Jeremie Frimpong. Advertisement Keep up to date with ALL the latest news and transfers at the Scottish Sun football page

£48m star asks to be left out of match after agreeing transfer deal with Chelsea
Jorrel Hato asked to be left out of Ajax's squad to face Como 1907 this weekend after agreeing personal terms with Chelsea, according to reports in the Netherlands. Chelsea have splashed the cash across another busy transfer window, sealing deals for Jamie Gittens, Joao Pedro, Liam Delap, Dario Essugo and Mamadou Sarr for a combined fee of around £190million. Despite already strengthening at the back with the addition of Sarr from Strasbourg, the Blues have set their sights on making Hato, 19, their next signing and talks with the full-back's camp have been advancing at a pace in recent days. Hato, who is comfortable operating at both left-back and centre-back, has welcomed the interest from Chelsea and the versatile Dutchman is said to be actively pushing to force through a transfer to Stamford Bridge. But while Hato has informed Ajax that he wants to leave, the Eredivisie outfit rejected Chelsea's opening bid and sent a counter offer back to west London for the teenager. With talks ongoing, Algemeen Dagblad report that Hato told Ajax head coach John Heitinga that he would 'rather not play' in the side's Como Cup final defeat to Como on Sunday. It's claimed this is 'entirely related' to his potential move to Chelsea, though 'that doesn't say anything about the status of negotiations, which are currently difficult'. Hato was also absent for Ajax's semi-final win over Celtic earlier in the week. However, Heitinga insisted this was because the defender was yet to gain full match fitness having only recently returned to training. Ajax are said to be holding out for a fee of between €55-60million (£48-52.5m) for Hato, who still has three years remaining on his current contract in Amsterdam. Speaking to De Telegraaf on Wednesday, Hato's agent, Humphry Nijman confirmed that Chelsea had opened discussions to close a deal for last term's Eredivisie Talent of the Season. 'Yes, the club [Chelsea] have contacted Ajax,' he told the Dutch newspaper. Hato featured 50 times for Ajax across the 2024/25 campaign and played a key role as the club narrowly missed out on the Eredivisie title after finishing just one point behind PSV Eindhoven. In an interview with Ajax's official website last month, Hato outlined the goals and ambitions he hoped to fulfil in his career. At the time, the Netherlands international was keen to stress that he felt at 'home' at Ajax. 'The smartest thing is to look ahead to pre-season, that's what I do,' Hato said. 'Of course you want to achieve things in the end: the Champions League, a World Cup and a European Championship, I still have plenty of time. I don't think I absolutely have to win the Champions League in two years. 'In the Dutch league, you have to show how good you are against the big clubs. Ultimately, I have to continue to develop the things I am already good at, so that it becomes top. 'How do I describe my time at Ajax? Ajax is home for me. I just feel at home here.' Shin Yamada tells Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers exactly why he can succeed Kyogo
The striker netted his first goal for the Hoops' in the Como Cup clash with Al Ahli Shin Yamada has told Brendan Rodgers can be just as deadly as Kyogo at Celtic. The Hoops boss is desperate to add more firepower after Nicholas Kuhn 's exit and Jota's long-term injury. Celts also failed to land a replacement for Kyogo when the frontman departed in January. Yamada landed on a £1.5m deal from Kawasaki Frontale but Rodgers admitted the frontman could be one for the future. The Japan ace is convinced he can be a man for the here and now – and he's ready to fill the Kyogo void. Yamada – who notched the winning penalty against Al-Ahli in the Como Cup at the weekend – said: 'Obviously I heard all the news about Kyogo scoring goals for Celtic. 'As players, I would say some parts of our game is similar. In front of goal, especially. 'However, I have something different which is speed and power. With that, I hope to perform as well as him and contribute to Celtic. 'I have speed at one-v-ones. I like to run behind the defenders. That is one of my strengths.' Yamada was denied a debut against Ajax in Italy last week due to red tape but got his first taste against the Saudi Arabian big guns. The 25-year-old had a goal disallowed for a narrow offside call but showed bottle to step up and convert the winning penalty in the third-place play-off. The Japan squad man caught the eye in his second half showing but he insisted there is still much more to come. He said: 'I am happy I took part in the game. And, of course, I am happy to have scored the winning penalty. 'I thought I had scored in the second-half but was off-side. I wish I had the pass earlier. 'But I have only come to the club for a week so we need to understand each other's strengths better and have better connections. 'I think that part will come soon. I am obviously a striker so personally my job is to score a lot of goals and I think that's what I'm being asked to do at this club. 'I need to demand from my team-mates that they give me a pass in certain moments. 'That is a part of my game I need to improve with my team-mates.'
