Scott Wolf breaks silence on divorce from Kelley Wolf, accusing estranged wife of lying to ‘gain an advantage'

Scott Wolf is speaking out. The 'Party of Five' alum, 57, broke his silence on Friday, Aug. 15, for the first time since announcing he filed for divorce from his estranged wife, Kelley Wolf, 48, back in June. In a statement to People, the actor said that his 'continued hope is to have this most difficult chapter of our family's lives remain as private as possible; however, the well-being of my children is at stake, and that will always be my priority.' 'I was informed of some deeply disturbing and entirely false allegations that were made about me by my estranged wife.' The 'Everwood' star also shared with the outlet a series of alleged text messages he received from his ex in which she threatened to 'make claims' against him regarding 'psychological abuse, child abuse, child endangerment [and] stealing with passports.' Advertisement Kelley then reportedly made several of those same claims in a 911 call on July 26. 8 Scott and Kelley Wolf at Universal Studios Hollywood in Universal City, California, on July 9, 2018. 'In order to protect my kids, I am providing the text messages she sent to me where she describes this plan, so there are no questions about her intentions, or the malicious intent behind her false allegations made and/or planned for the future,' he added. Scott's estranged wife went on to explain that she was trying to 'create more urgency to get the kids back' or 'at least get back joint custody.' 'I continue to ask for privacy and respect for our family, and give thanks to all those who have shown their love and support,' the 'Nancy Drew' actor concluded. 'I've lost my career, my reputation, my children, my integrity, my honor, my devotion to my marriage.' 'As a parent, I have literally lost everything except my life. I've done everything strategic, and I'm hopeful for my children,' she added. Scott later filed for a restraining order against his ex on June 24, and a judge signed off on the petition one day later. Kelley was also granted 'liberal' supervised visitation with the children, supervised parenting time as coordinated by counsel, and three supervised video or phone calls per week. Advertisement However, Kelley tried to gain access to the former couple's Park City, Utah, property with police present just two weeks after Scott dropped the restraining order against her. She livestreamed the attempt on Instagram Live, and told her 76,000 followers that she was 'under the impression that I have done everything humanly possible to retrieve some basic items from my home.'

There's also the annual anticipated list from the Social Security Administration (SSA), featuring the most popular baby names of the previous year. Of course, American parents aren't the only ones intrigued by baby names. Months after the SSA list dropped, the Office for National Statistics (ONS) revealed the top baby names in England and Wales for 2024. Olivia Amelia Lily Isla Ivy Florence Freya Poppy Ava Elsie Top Boy Names in England and Wales in 2024 Muhammad, the top boy name in England and Wales, has been the same for two years in a row. But it's different than the top boy name in the U.S. which was Liam, a name that doesn't even make the top 10 in England and Wales. Also high on this list is Archie and George, which is unsurprising as those are the names of the sons of Prince Harry and Prince William, respectively. Who is headlining Reading and Leeds 2025? Line-up revealed

Chappell Roan, Travis Scott, Hozier and Bring Me the Horizon will top the bill Festival season is nearly over after a sun-soaked and controversial summer of music. However, there's still one major weekend left. Reading and Leeds Festivals will return over the August bank holiday with a packed line-up that includes pop phenomenon Chappell Roan and rapper Travis Scott. Whether you're a seasoned regular or watching from the comfort of your sofa, here's what to expect from one of the summer's biggest parties. When is Reading and Leeds 2025? Buy Reading and Leeds tickets The sister festivals will take place between Thursday 21 and Sunday 24 August, at Richfield Avenue in Reading and Bramham Park in Leeds. Coverage of the festivals will be broadcast on BBC One, iPlayer, Radio 1 and BBC Sounds. A limited number of tickets are still on general sale via Ticketmaster and Live Nation, with prices starting at £125 for day tickets and rising to £325 for weekend passes. Who is headlining Reading and Leeds? Reading and Leeds Festivals share the same line-up, which features acts from the worlds of rock, pop, grime, hip-hop and electronic music. The festivals' schedule rotates across both sites over the event. US pop star Chappell Roan and rapper Travis Scott will headline the festivals for the first time. Irish singer-songwriter Hozier and Sheffield rock band Bring Me the Horizon will also top the bill. Roan's headline sets will mark her biggest UK shows to date, following a mammoth year for the performer. Her 2023 debut album, The Rise and Fall of a Midwest Princess, had a slow rise in the UK chart, before landing at number one last year and catapulting her to fame. She won her first Grammy earlier this year, scooping the best new artist prize. Her latest single The Subway topped the UK charts, while other tracks The Giver, The Subway, Hot to Go and Good Luck Babe all reached the top five. Festival boss Melvin Benn said the line-up was "truly special", adding: "This is one of the youngest average ages for headliners in years, and that's very exciting in itself." Oliver Sykes, the frontman of Bring Me the Horizon, said: "We are beyond excited to be returning to Reading and Leeds for our first fully fledged headline slot. We are going to bring hands down the greatest show of our careers. "It's going to be our only UK performance [of 2025] and the final European show of the Nex Gen [their 2024 album] campaign before the band take time away, so if you want to see BMTH next year, this truly is your only chance. Can't wait." Who else is on the Reading and Leeds line-up? Other acts on the bill will include British indie stalwarts Bloc Party and The Kooks, plus rap heavyweights AJ Tracey and Trippie Redd. They will be joined by DJ Sammy Virji, pop singer Becky Hill and punk-rock duo Soft Play. Fans can also look forward to performances from singer Suki Waterhouse, drum and bass group Rudimental, and Charli XCX collaborator The Dare. The line-up is rounded out by rock bands Enter Shikari, Pale Waves, Wallows, Royel Otis, Wunderhorse and Amyl and the Sniffers. Last year's headliners were Liam Gallagher, Lana Del Rey, Blink-182, Fred Again, Catfish and the Bottlemen and Gerry Cinnamon. Reading and Leeds Festivals will take place between 21 and 24 August
