Travis Scott to Make India Debut With ‘Circus Maximus' Tour

BookMyShow Live is set to bring rap superstar Travis Scott to India for the first time as part of his 'Circus Maximus' world tour, with a performance scheduled for Oct. 18 at New Delhi's Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium. The India show will be produced and promoted by BookMyShow Live, the live entertainment experiential division of BookMyShow, working in collaboration with global concert promoters Live Nation. His most recent studio album, 'Utopia,' has further cemented Scott's cultural impact, breaking streaming records and reinforcing his status as one of the most influential artists of his generation. Korea University will launch the country's first College of Media & Communication on March 27, featuring a new division of global entertainment aimed specifically at international students. The initiative comes as foreign enrollment in the university's media programs has matched local admissions in recent years, with both divisions sharing curriculum while maintaining separate admissions processes. Alumni from major players including HYBE, CJ ENM, and Kakao Entertainment will participate in the launch event's networking sessions with current students. Indian content licensing firm One Life Studios has appointed former international business head of Viacom18's content syndication arm, IndiaCast, Govind Shahi as strategic advisor to boost global expansion. The Mumbai-based company, known for syndicating epic series 'Porus' to 28 countries, aims to leverage Shahi's experience to penetrate emerging markets. 'Govind's expertise makes him the perfect partner to accelerate our vision,' said CEO Siddharth Kumar Tewary. Academy Museum to Host Large-Scale Bong Joon Ho Exhibition

Korean entertainment giant CJ ENM, the studio famously behind Bong Joon Ho's multi-Oscar-winning Parasite, has signed a three-year pact with the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures to boost Asian cinema's presence in Hollywood. The agreement's first initiative, spearheaded under CJ ENM's support, will be the world's first museum exhibition dedicated to Bong's work. Opening March 23 and titled 'Director's Inspiration: Bong Joon Ho,' the exhibition will be comprised of more than 100 original items, including storyboards, research materials, film posters, concept art, creature designs, props and on-set photographs. The project will also include an exhibition space featuring a creative workspace filled with various objects that inspired Bong's films as well as an accompanying retrospective screening series of his movies themselves. CJ vice chairwoman Miky Lee has been a supporter of the Academy Museum since joining its Board of Trustees in 2019. She also served as vice chair of the museum's board, and she was honored with the Pillar Award at the 2022 Academy Museum Gala in recognition of her leadership and contributions. 'We're so thankful to Academy Museum Trustee Miky Lee and CJ ENM for their support of the Academy Museum and dedication to showcase Korean Cinema in our galleries and programming,' said Academy Museum director and president Amy Homma. Actor Sunny Deol's Ghatak is to be re-released on March 21. On Monday, the official Instagram page of Red Lorry Film Festival shared the news and wrote, "Brace yourself for the return of a cult classic! Ghatak is hitting the big screen once again at the Red Lorry Film Festival. Relive the action on 21st March 2025 on the big screen!" The action film remains a fan favourite for its gripping story, powerful performances, and memorable dialogues. To celebrate the occasion, the Gadar actor took to his Instagram and shared a nostalgic video featuring some of the film's best scenes and dialogues. He also took a moment to remember the late actor Amrish Puri, who played the role of Kashi Nath, a feared crime lord in the movie. Along with the video, Sunny wrote, "28 years of #Ghatak! My Diwali Release of 1996! Directed by #RajKumarSantoshi, Miss you #AmrishPuri sahab." Helmed by Rajkumar Santoshi, the film also starred Danny Denzongpa, and Meenakshi Seshadri in prominent roles.
