Kajol had a very special visitor during the trailer launch of her upcoming mythological horror film, Maa. That visitor was none other than her son, Yug, who came to greet her on this important day. A video of this sweet moment was captured and shared online, quickly catching the attention of fans and viewers. In the video, Kajol is walking, unaware that her little champ is waiting to surprise her. Suddenly, Yug appears right in front of her, catching her off guard. She immediately hugs him. The mother and son then walk together, side by side, chatting happily as they make their way.

Yug surprised Kajol at the launch event, where his father, actor Ajay Devgn, was also present. After the special moment, Yug made his way back home. In another clip shared by the paparazzi, Yug is seen leaving the venue and heading to the car.
As for his look, Yug kept it simple and comfortable. He wore a plain white t-shirt paired with olive green, relaxed-fit trousers. At the time he surprised his mother, he had a shirt layered over the tee but he later took it off and carried it with him. To complete his outfit, he wore white sneakers. The paparazzi took several photos of him as he made his way to the car.

Directed by Vishal Furia, Maa tells the story of a mother who turns into the fierce goddess Kali to break a dark curse filled with fear, betrayal and blood. The film explores horror in a mythological setting with Kajol playing the central role.
A surprise appearance by R Madhavan at the trailer launch also caught many off guard. According to a source who spoke to Bollywood Bubble, Madhavan will be part of Maa, which is reportedly linked to the Shaitaan universe. The source said, 'R Madhavan is set to be part of Kajol starrer Maa, which is reportedly set in the same universe as Shaitaan. The details about his role remain under wraps, but it could be a special cameo."
The trailer offers a chilling look into the film. It begins with Kajol driving on a dark and lonely road with her daughter. Suddenly, a dead body falls onto their car, setting the tone for what's to come. After that, Kajol and her daughter reach an old mansion. She tells her daughter not to go anywhere without permission. But the daughter gets curious and speaks to another girl staying there. She asks her to take her to a locked area of the house. At first, the girl hesitates, but they go there anyway. The girl says, 'No one comes here and everybody says, rakshas lives here."
Along with Kajol, the movie also features Kherin Sharma, Roy, Indraneil Sengupta, Jitin Gulati, Gopal Singh, Surjyasikha Das, Yaaneea Bharadwaj and Roopkatha Chakraborty in key roles.
Presented by Jio Studios and Devgn Films, Maa is produced by Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande and co-produced by Kumar Mangat Pathak. The film will make its theatrical debut on June 27.
