Five Taylor Swift Albums Rock Back Onto The Same Charts At The Same Time
Taylor Swift is one of the bestselling – and most consistently-bestselling – artists in the music industry. Not only can she move massive numbers of albums and songs when they're new and properly promoted, but she also maintains impressive longevity, especially when it comes to pure purchases, which typically drop off fairly quickly for most releases. Her full-lengths continue to sell months, even years, after their initial release. Fans can't seem to buy enough copies of her most famous works, especially on CD and vinyl – formats she has helped revive.
This week in the U.K., five of Swift's albums return to the sales charts. For most artists, that would mark a career high. For her, it's just another frame, one which yet again highlights her ability to sell, sell, sell.
Five of her full-lengths reappear on both the Official Albums Sales and Official Physical Albums chart, and she's back in charge of them as well.
The biggest winner this week among Swift's catalog is The Tortured Poets Department. The collection doesn't just bounce back onto the sales tallies, it also returns to the No. 1 spot in the U.K., once again becoming the bestselling album in the nation. It manages to do so as it marks 52 weeks (a full year) on both rosters.
1989 (Taylor's Version) appears lower on the list, landing in the seventies on both the Official Albums Sales and Official Physical Albums charts. Meanwhile, three other titles — Folklore, Lover, and Midnights — also return to the two rankings, rounding out Swift's impressive quintet of returning bestsellers.
The Tortured Poets Department benefits from a massive uptick in sales, spurred by the album's birthday and the release of signed CDs. The title rockets from No. 24 to No. 1 on the Official Albums chart, which tracks the most consumed collections in the U.K.
It also reappears on the Official Album Downloads chart at No. 82. While not related to purchases, the project lifts several positions on the Official Albums Streaming tally as well, rising back into the top 20 to land at No. 18.
Many of Swift's efforts — including all five returning sales titles, as well as Reputation — also appear on the Official Albums chart and the Official Albums Streaming rankings this week. Two other full-lengths, Fearless (Taylor's Version) and her self-titled debut, which helped launch her to stardom so many years ago, also find space on the Official Country Artists Albums roster.

Taylor Swift Drops Major Update About Potential Future Album
Taylor Swift Drops Major Update About Potential Future Album originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Back in 2019, it was revealed that Taylor Swift did not own the master recordings of her first six albums, as they were sold to music executive Scooter Braun when he acquired her former label, Big Machine Records. The "You Belong With Me" singer was just 17 years old when she signed with Big Machine in 2006. Before her contract ended in 2018, she released six albums: her self-titled debut, "Speak Now," "Fearless," "Red," "1989" and "Reputation." In response, she announced plans to re-record all six albums to reclaim control of her music. From 2021 to 2023, Swift released "Fearless (Taylor's Version)," "Red (Taylor's Version)," "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" and "1989 (Taylor's Version)." Each "Taylor's Version" album includes re-recorded versions of the original songs, plus "From the Vault" tracks, which are previously unreleased songs that didn't make the original album. It was announced on Friday morning that Swift now owns all the master recordings of her first six albums, meaning she owns every single album, music video, concert film and the art that comes with it. "All of the music I've ever belongs to me," the singer wrote in a letter that's published on her website. "Every single era. My entire life's work." Towards the end of the letter, she also gave updates on the two albums that don't have a "Taylor's Version" yet, her self-titled album and "Reputation," which were released in 2006 and 2017, respectively. She admitted that she hasn't even re-recorded a quarter of "Reputation (Taylor's Version)" because that album was "so specific to that time in [her] life" and she thought she couldn't improve it by re-doing it. But, she did give an update on the status of her first album, titled "Taylor Swift." "I've already completely re-recorded my entire debut album, and I really love how it sounds now. Those 2 albums can still have their moments to re-emerge when the time is right, if that would be something you guys would be excited about," she wrote. "But if it happens, it wouldn't be from a place of sadness and longing for what I wish I could have. It would just be a celebration now." It's only a matter of time before "Taylor Swift (Taylor's Version)" joins the rest of her discography. With her debut album re-recorded, it feels like things have come full circle, not out of longing for the past, but as a powerful reminder of her growth as an story was originally reported by Athlon Sports on May 30, 2025, where it first appeared.

Taylor Swift's New Post Leaves Fans Convinced of Major Career Move
Taylor Swift's New Post Leaves Fans Convinced of Major Career Move originally appeared on Athlon Sports. Taylor Swift announced on social media this Friday morning that she now owns the rights to her first six albums. This means that the 35-year-old singer owns every single recording, music video, concert film and the art that comes with it. She has regained ownership of her master recordings from Shamrock Capital, the private equity firm that bought them from Braun's Ithaca Holdings in 2020. They reportedly sold them back to Swift for a price close to the $360 million they originally paid, according to Billboard. "All of the music I've ever belongs to me," the singer wrote in a letter that's published on her website. "Every single era. My entire life's work." Back in 2019, it was revealed that Swift did not own the master recordings of her first six albums anymore because they were sold to music executive Scooter Braun when he acquired her former label, Big Machine Records. The "Lover" singer was just 17 years old when she signed with Big Machine in 2006. Before her contract ended in 2018, she released six albums: her self-titled debut, "Speak Now," "Fearless," "Red," "1989" and "Reputation." In response, she announced plans to re-record all six albums to reclaim control of her music. From 2021 to 2023, Swift released "Fearless (Taylor's Version)," "Red (Taylor's Version)," "Speak Now (Taylor's Version)" and "1989 (Taylor's Version)." Everyone knows that Swift is the queen of easter eggs, which are secret clues, messages or symbols that are hidden in her songs, music videos and social media. Many fans noticed in the first paragraph of the letter that the "Love Story" singer wrote 12 i's in the word "this." "All the time I was thiiiiiiiiiiiis close, reaching out for it, only for it to fall through," she wrote. Many believe that Swift will be releasing her 12th studio album very soon. "Oh ts12 I can feel you," wrote a fan on X. 'SUDDENLY LIFE IS WORTH LIVING TS12 TRUTHERS RISE ❤️🔥,' one fan account posted on X, referencing another moment when Swift used exactly 12 letters in a post—when she reposted Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco's latest album "I Said I Love You First" to her Instagram story and wrote, 'I LOVE THIS ALBUM SO MUCH OH MY GODDDDDDDDDD.' One user joked, "Wait Taylor is low on cash which means TS12 is right around the corner." Another fan speculated that TS12 would come in 2026, explaining the 26% off sale of 12 items on her website a couple of weeks ago. "wait, so TS12 is even closer than we thought (february 2026???)," which they posted with the viral GIF of Beyonce winning Album of the Year in the 2025 Grammys for her country album "Cowboy Carter." Also, many Swifties noticed a new "TS" logo on the top of the letter, which could also be a sign of a new era approaching. "WHAT is this new logo THIS IS GORGEOUS???" a Swift fan account posted. "I thought I was the only one that noticed this…" a fan responded. "She ate." "guys i think we have a new logo…" one fan commented. "ts12 is nearer than we think."
