Gongs were presented to the very best in Scotland at Doubletree By Hilton, marking the latest edition of the hotly contested, highly-valued Innis and Gunn Prestige Hotel Awards.
Awards Director Warren Paul said: "It's worth saying the calibre of the people involved is quite incredible – it was fantastic for us to see very senior bosses from hotels across the country introducing their future generations to us, and demonstrating just how important and impactful these awards can be.
'They're all the very best operators in Scotland, delivering amazing service and much-needed escape from the rigours of modern life.
'We all need time out to rest, recover, recharge – especially right now – so our world-class, in fact world-beating hospitality industry should be celebrated and shouted from the rooftops."

Lorraine Kelly makes furious decision to 'leave' ITV amid brutal bloodbath cuts

Lorraine Kelly has hosted her show on ITV for 15 years but it seems she is finally ready to say goodbye to the broadcaster, according to an insider. Lorraine Kelly is planning to leave ITV when her contract runs out next year, an insider has claimed. The 65-year-old broadcaster was left furious earlier this year when ITV announced her programme will only run for 30 weeks of the year in 2026, down from the normal 52. ‌ Lorraine's show is set to be cut in half and will run from only 9:30am until 10am from January, which Lorraine expressed frustration about in May. However, it's now reported that the Scots presenter has decided to call it quits when her contract ends next year. ‌ A consultation period, which will determine who will be affected by ITV's brutal financial cuts, is currently underway and although Lorraine's role appears to be in the all clear, the Scots star is reportedly ready to make her exit after hosting her show for 15 years. ‌ The bloodbath cuts may affect Lorraine's current popular stand-ins Christine Lampard and Ranvir Singh, as the presenters might see their appearances fronting the show being slashed, the Mirror reports. A source told Mail Online today: "Lorraine sees it as the end. She's got a year left on her contract which she will honour, but beyond that there are no plans for her to stay. She will be leaving. ‌ "Of course, she will be fine, she has loads of money. But some of the people who work for her have done so for many years and have put up with her demands for a long, long time. Yet they will struggle to ever get another job in the television industry." Lorraine, who originally hails from Glasgow, celebrated her 40th year in television last year with a special episode of the morning show which follows Good Morning Britain in ITV'S line up. ‌ Production staff on these shows, in addition to further ITV daytime programming, are being massively affected by the changes, it is believed. One employee branded the situation as "horrendous" as they claimed "the little people" at the west London-based broadcaster were suffering. They told Mail Online: "All the big names are staying while the little people get the boot. It is horrendous. ‌ "You'd think if you wanted to save a big lump of cash you could get rid of some of the presenters. There are loads of them!" Join the Daily Record WhatsApp community! The veteran broadcaster will continue to front Good Morning Britain for a further six months at least after recently signing a new, short-term contract, according to reports. Madeley, originally from Romford, east London, frequently presents Good Morning Britain with Susanna Reid, whose role is also said to be safe.

Sign up for Scottish Sun newsletter Sign up 4 The stunning Harris beach comes in at number one 4 The little known Scarista Beach is in second place 4 Camusdarach Beach in Morar is number three on the ranking Coastal spots that were rated four stars or higher were ranked based on the percentage of five-star reviews. And the top three spots were all taken by stunning Scots destinations. A Chicks Gold spokesman said: "Scotland dominates the list of best UK beaches, claiming four out of the top five spots. Scottish beaches can often be overlooked for southern destinations, but these reviews show how extraordinary these locations really are. 'These beaches are more remote than usual seaside towns that are overrun during the summer months. They offer visitors a quieter, more picturesque experience that is truly breathtaking.' Coming in at number one is the award-winning Luskentyre Beach on the Isle of Harris. An incredible 93.79 per cent of reviewers gave this gorgeous bay five stars. Often compared to the Caribbean, Luskentyre is famed for its white sand and crystal blue sea. One of the Chicks Gold team said: "This beach boasts white sands, blue-green waters, and was named one of the UK's best beaches in the Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice Awards." Meanwhile, in second place is the little known Scarista Beach, also on Harris. With a wide expanse of golden sand, sand dunes and wild-flower meadows which spill onto the bay, it's dubbed a Hebridean gem. The Chicks Gold team said: "This white sandy beach speckled with seashells lies on the southwestern coast of South Harris and looks out into the Atlantic Ocean." And in third place is Camusdarach Beach with 88.54 per cent of five star ratings. The beautiful spot in Morar is described as an arc of white, glistening sand and clear water. Situated south of the estuary of River Morar, it has views of the Isle of Skye. The beach was also featured in the film Local Hero and is a popular filming location to visit. One more Scottish each made the top 10. Sandwood Bay in Sutherland came fifth in the list The natural bay is a remote, picturesque beach on the far north-west coast of mainland Scotland. The team said: "Visitors will find a mile of golden sands and dunes, with rocky cliffs and a giant sea stack to complete the stunning vistas."
