Mika Singh takes veiled dig at Diljit Dosanjh over Sardaar Ji 3 controversy with Hania Aamir: ‘Fake singer... our nation's dignity is involved'

Singer Mika Singh has seemingly taken a sharp swipe at Diljit Dosanjh amid the ongoing controversy surrounding Sardaar Ji 3, which features Pakistani actress Hania Aamir. The backlash comes at a time of heightened tensions between India and Pakistan following the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam that claimed 26 civilian lives. Without directly naming Diljit, Mika posted a fiery message on his Instagram Stories titled 'Desh Pehle', urging Indian artists to put the country above personal and professional interests. 'Guys, as we all know, the relationship between India and Pakistan isn't going well right now. Yet some people continue to act irresponsibly,' he wrote. 'A fake singer who did 10 shows in India has now disappeared' In his post, Mika criticized unnamed individuals for collaborating with artists across the border. 'Before releasing any content that involves artists from across the border, they should think twice — especially when our nation's dignity is involved,' he said. He also referred to a recent controversy around a film featuring Fawad Khan and Vaani Kapoor that faced opposition. However, the sharpest part of his statement read: 'What's more shocking is that a fake singer, after doing 10 shows in India with thousands of fans buying tickets, has now disappeared — leaving fans betrayed and helpless.' Though Mika didn't drop any names, his words, paired with a photo of both himself and Diljit, strongly pointed toward Dosanjh, who has been touring internationally. FWICE demands boycott of Sardaar Ji 3 The controversy began after the trailer for Sardaar Ji 3 dropped, prompting the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) to call for a boycott. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like New Container Houses Now Available in Lagos - See Prices! He has disrespected the sentiments of the nation and insulted the sacrifice of our brave soldiers. His preference for Pakistani talent over Indian artists raises serious questions about his loyalty and priorities.' Diljit Dosanjh Faces Massive Backlash Over 'Sardaar Ji 3' Casting | Industry Boycott Looms Diljit Dosanjh responds: 'The film was shot before tensions escalated' Responding to the growing backlash, Diljit Dosanjh clarified in an interview with BBC Asian Network that Sardaar Ji 3 was filmed earlier this year, before the political climate worsened. 'Jab yeh film bani thi tab situation sab theek tha... Now the situation is not in our hands. So if the producers want to release it abroad, I support them,' he said. Despite his clarification, the controversy shows no signs of settling. The film's producers have now opted to skip an Indian theatrical release, announcing a worldwide release on June 27 instead. Directed by Amarjit Singh Saron, Sardaar Ji 3 continues the popular franchise with Diljit reprising his role as the quirky ghost-hunter. He stars alongside Hania Aamir, Neeru Bajwa, Manav Vij, Gulshan Grover, Jasmin Bajwa, and Sapna Pabbi.

Dil Raju confirms Icon will no longer star Allu Arjun: 'Venu Sriram will take the script forward with a new hero'

After years of speculation, producer Dil Raju has confirmed that the much-anticipated film 'Icon' will no longer star Allu Arjun . The film, which was originally announced before the release of Pushpa, has been in limbo due to the actor's packed schedule and increasing market demand post-Pushpa's massive success. The script for Icon was penned by Venu Sriram , who previously directed Vakeel Saab, and an official poster featuring Allu Arjun had also been released. However, with constant delays and the rising expectations surrounding Allu Arjun's future projects, the makers have now decided to move forward with a different lead. Dil Raju confirms recasting plans Speaking about the project, Dil Raju said in a recent interview, 'Allu Arjun is not likely to do Icon due to his current busy schedule. It's an action film with human emotions.' In the meantime, director Venu Sriram is gearing up for another film titled Thammudu with Nani, which will be completed before the revamped version of Icon resumes development. Paris Restaurant Serving Fresh Parotta And Tamil-Style Food Has Social Media Abuzz

Indian flavours have captivated the hearts (and stomachs) of foodies across the globe. Over the years, restaurants serving Indian food abroad have gradually increased in number and popularity. While many of them are frequented by Indian immigrants or Indian tourists themselves, they also offer foreigners the chance to discover and fall in love with the subcontinent's rich regional cuisines. Recently, a Tamil-style restaurant located in Paris grabbed many eyeballs online. A digital creator (@jegathvijay) shared a reel about his experience dining at Muniyandi Vilas, and it went viral on Instagram. A chef is seen expertly rolling and flipping the parotta dough. "Seeing that I felt like I was back in our hometown," notes the vlogger. Various South Indian and Sri Lankan delicacies are featured on the menu. The vlogger tasted the chicken biryani and the parotta with curry. He says that he was initially concerned whether they would taste "authentic" or not. After eating the dishes, his verdict was that they "tasted just like back home." In the caption, he added, "From the moment I walked in, that familiar parotta aroma hit me, and watching the chef expertly flip them, I knew I was in for a treat. I ordered their special, and of course, had to try the chicken biryani too. Trust me, it's a must-visit." While some users said that they liked the food at this Paris restaurant, others claimed that it "didn't live up to the hype" for them. Many users also wondered aloud if it could truly recreate authentic flavours. Before this, a video about a vegetarian South Indian restaurant in Seoul took social media by storm.
