BTS' 12th Anniversary: RM aka Kim Namjoon pens emotional letter for ARMYs, says 'I truly didn't this day would come'

BTS leader RM, also known as Kim Namjoon, is back and his heartfelt words on the group's 12th anniversary (June 13) are already resonating deeply with ARMY. Fresh off his military discharge on June 10, Namjoon shared a touching handwritten letter on Weverse just minutes after the clock struck midnight in South Korea, reflecting on the group's journey, his personal growth, and the long-awaited reunion just around the corner.
Happy birthday, BTS: RM gets candid in new note
RM began his letter with a warm 'Happy birthday, BTS,' acknowledging the emotional weight of June 13—also known as BTS' debut anniversary. 'Somehow, 613 has come around again,' he wrote. 'Last year's 613 was really not easy, and now 250613 has arrived. I have truly been waiting more than any of you.' The phrase '250613,' symbolizing June 13, 2025, marked a bittersweet full-circle moment—12 years since BTS first debuted.
With a mix of humour and sentiment, he likened the group turning 12 to 'a nephew in my multiverse,' adding, 'I'm so glad you've grown up so well.' Sharing that June 13 also happens to be his younger sibling's birthday, RM revealed he spent time with family before sitting down to pen the letter, pressing hard enough to 'break the pencil lead.'
A time to look back and ahead
He referenced a book titled An Experiment in Accurate Love, reflecting on the challenge of giving and receiving love in a sincere and meaningful way—something he feels deeply with ARMY but continues to question. 'To be loved accurately and to love accurately. That seemingly impossible task, I've always wanted to achieve it.'
The journey continues with you by his side
The letter closes with RM inviting fans to continue walking this journey with him. 'Once again, I'm going to try to go somewhere, though I don't know where… I want to walk together with romance. Will you join me?' He poetically described moving forward like 'Huckleberry Finn,' pushing through exhaustion, insomnia, and confusion—all made bearable thanks to the fans. 'Thanks to you, I endured, and thanks to you, I stubbornly walked on.'
Namjoon ended with a humble acknowledgment of his own flaws and gratitude: 'Becoming talkative is also a sign of clumsy love, so please look upon it kindly… We will truly try to do better once more. Thank you for giving us the opportunity. And I love you.'
BTS reunion just days away
RM's letter comes at a poignant time. With Jin, J-Hope, Jimin, V, Jungkook, and RM all officially discharged, the only member still completing service is SUGA, whose discharge is scheduled for June 21. The full group reunion—something fans have waited nearly three years for—will finally become reality.
As BTS prepares for its long-anticipated comeback, RM's words serve as both a love letter and a quiet promise: no matter how unclear the road ahead may seem, they're ready to walk it again—with ARMY right beside them.

ADOR Launches Global Audition For New Boyband, Invites Talents Till This Date

Last Updated: The first round of registration opened on June 12 at 6 pm KST and ADOR would receive applications until July 2 at 5 pm KST. ADOR, a subsidiary of HYBE Entertainment, announced a global audition in search of a boyband. Amid the legal conflict with K-pop girlband NewJeans, ADOR announced dates for the 2025 ADOR Boys Global Audition to seek young male participants who have what it takes to become the male version of NewJeans. Any male singer born after 2006, regardless of their nationality, will be eligible to participate. The first round of registration opened on June 12 at 6 pm KST and ADOR would receive applications until July 2 at 5 pm KST. They will be accepting participants with different skills, including singing, dancing, acting, rapping, songwriting, vlogging, photography and others. Both individual and group applications will be considered for auditions. In an official statement, the agency stated, 'We hope to see many talented individuals knock on the door toward their dreams." Successful applicants from the first round will proceed to the second round, where they will have to give in-person auditions. These auditions will take place in nine cities across South Korea, including Seoul, Daegu, Jeonju, Busan, Daejeon, Gwangju, Chuncheon, Wonju and Jeju, and 18 cities globally, including New York, Sydney, Toronto, Tokyo, Singapore and Los Angeles, among others. ADOR's announcement was met with severe criticism and backlash on social media. One fan humorously noted, 'The concept…do they want to debut new trousers or something?" Another NewJeans fan commented, 'Not y'all exploiting the OG creators of ADOR LOL. Start rebranding and stop preying on another group." Someone else wrote, 'Oh, this is fun! Love that they're continuing with the boy group." The ongoing legal dispute between ADOR and NewJeans began in late 2024 when the K-pop band decided to terminate their contract with the label, citing mistreatment and lack of support. The music agency countered, stating the group's grievances are invalid and that the contracts were valid. Initially, the court ruled against NewJeans and restrained them from pursuing any independent activities. Following the ruling, the K-pop band went into a hiatus earlier this year. Later, the court asked both parties to settle the matter within themselves, but NewJeans did not agree, citing that the agency had completely lost their trust. K-pop sensation has made his way to Mumbai once more, and this time he has a lot more to do! The idol recently collaborated with none other than for a brand new and thrilling song titled 'BUCK'. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Currently, he's visiting India with a jam-packed schedule to promote his new music and to experience the culture in his own way. Jackson Wang in India, idol meets up with Hrithik Roshan , Adarsh Gourav and more On his trip to India, Jackson has already managed to spend time with Hrithik Roshan and his family in the actor's house and has also managed to meet up with actor Adarsh Gourav, well known for his role in 'Superboys of Malegaon'. In an interview with Pinkvilla, the sensational singer opened up about his new music and upcoming album 'MAGIC MAN 2' and how he has been feeling while travelling and performing in India. He also shared how he and Diljit created their collaborative project as well, leaving everyone shocked. How did 'BUCK' happen? Jackson Wang shared more on how he and Diljit Dosanjh came to know of one another. The two had first met back in 2023 when they performed at the Coachella festival that year. The two had bumped into each other backstage and had hung out together. At the time, Dosanjh and Wang had conspired to come up with a collaborative project that originally ended up getting lost in the time zone amid busy and demanding schedules. 'BUCK' came to be after Wang took a chance and just randomly DM'ed Diljit out of the blue. He bluntly put out the question of whether Dosanjh would want to feature on his album, and lo and behold, 'BUCK' was born. On working as a solo artist and his reunion with GOT7 Jackson Wang started in the industry as part of the K-pop boy group GOT7. While all of the members have mainly been focusing on their solo careers, they all got together to perform recently this year in Thailand. While talking about the reunion, the idol shared that 'It's like going back to a label. I feel so happy. I don't need to care about anything; I had my own opinion [on songs and other aspects], but it's not about me; it's about us!' He continued sharing that '[When I'm performing with GOT7] I just need to focus on practising hard and focus on being able to do my job in the most efficient way possible.'
